The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After making plans for Scorpion (enhanced), the exhausted Kaito finally returned to his private room at the base to rest. As for this promise, Kaito could only apologize to Rentaro over the phone because he couldn’t guard him tonight, as he felt tired.

Fortunately, Enju was willing to guard Rentaro tonight, and Midori, with Jack, also volunteered to accompany her all night at the hospital. With 3 cursed children accompanying them, there should be no problem... at least until Kaito retrieves them in the morning.

”Even though I’m physically fine, I’m mentally exhausted,” Kaito muttered tiredly, ”But tomorrow is a big day.”

Starting from analyzing Night Raid Teigu, --> exploring Capital and fighting Esdeath, --> Accompanying Rentaro to retrieve Enju, --> and lastly, making a plan to defeat enhanced Scorpion.

To say his workload is a lot is an understatement, especially when a lot of problems also exist in the other world.

In HOTD, the members fought the government and the people they were trying to protect. In Akame Ga Kill, it was only a matter of time before war broke out, and in this world... Scorpion, who was boosted by the curse of his bad luck, should be something that this world can’t take care. In the original, this world can barely defeat any ’Zodiac’, and now the enhanced one is coming... who knows what this cursed Scorpion is capable of if she is left alone.

Unfortunately, as the leader, Kaito knew he couldn’t complain, and Kaito knew he couldn’t afford to lose at all. Losing once was already devastating enough, and Kaito swore he would do anything to make sure everything went right.

As the leader, Kaito is aware that he is a hope for all chat group members, for everyone who needs his help, and he really can’t afford to lose!

”Well, I have to work harder tomorrow!” Kaito encouraged himself, ”I guess I will sleep first and then wake up early to create more props.”

*Knock* *Knock*

????

However, before Kaito could lie down on the bed and close his eyes, suddenly there was a knock on the door. Kaito immediately opened it and found a little girl with long pink hair wearing a white dress in front of his door with a nervous face.

”Umm... I apologize for disturbing your time, Kaito-sama!”

”Uh.... You are...”

At first, Kaito did not recognize this girl, but when he saw the nail scar on her hand, Kaito immediately said, ”Anna..? Are you okay?”

...!!!

Hearing that Kaito remembers her, Anna’s face immediately became delighted, and she exclaimed, ”Ah... Yes! I am glad you are not forgetting me, Kaito-sama! And I am okay!”

”Calm down, girl.”

”Yes, I am sorry...!!”

”Umm... Please enter.” Kaito smiled at her while opening his door and told her to come in, ”Let’s talk inside, shall we?”

”Yess!”

Remembering this is the girl he saved last time from that horrific experience, Kaito could guess why she was here. In fact, Kaito had experienced similar events several times with other little girls he had managed to save... and all of them came to him privately to thank him for saving them.

After Anna came to his room, she sat down on the edge of his bed nervously (she was visibly shaking). Looking at her, Kaito then made her a cup of hot chocolate with ”creation” so she could calm down.

”Here... try this, Anna-chan.” Kaito offered the cup of hot chocolate, which she accepted and immediately drank.

*Sip*

...!!!

”D-Delicious!” Anna’s eyes opened widely, surprised by the taste.

”I’m glad you like it.” Kaito reacted happily, satisfied with his work. ”Now that you are calm, tell me why you are visiting my room late at night.”

”Y-Yes!” Anna nodded, put her cup down, and bowed her head down 90 degrees, ”Kaito-sama, I am here to say thank you! I am grateful you are willing to save me!”

...??

”Ah, raise your head.” Kaito patted her head a few times and commented, ”I accept your gratitude. I hope from now on you will have a happy life with us.”

As someone who grew up without parents in Highschool DxD, Kaito felt satisfied to be able to help the cursed children who also grew up independently without anyone caring about them. For them, Kaito only feels utmost admiration. Although Kaito is also an orphan, he at least has food and money, while the cursed children grew up with a lack of any of them, on top of suffering from discrimination and danger from society itself.

...

”Now, Anna-chan. It’s already late at night, so I will bring you back to your room---”

”N-No!” Anna immediately hugged his arm, which made Kaito feel confused, and he got a deja vu from this.

”Anna-chan?”

”Tonight, I want to stay here!” Anna insisted, holding Kaito’s arm tightly, ”I-I heard from Ravel sensei that you love to hug little girls before sleep, so I am here to sleep with you!”

*Cough* *Cough*

...!!!

”U-Uh, calm down, girls...” Kaito wryly smiled, holding back from cursing in front of children, ”Where did you learn that...”

”Everyone! The teachers told us about it!” Anna answered with teary eyes, ”Midori-sama also told me that you like it!”

”What?”

After that, Kaito learn that the cursed children were told by Manaka and Aika about his sleeping habits, and the best way to express their thanks to Kaito is to let him sleep with them. (which is not true at all)

Kaito also learn that most, if not all, thousands of cursed children are willing to become his ’sleeping partner’ like Midori. It’s the result of Kaito’s high popularity among cursed children, as the majority of cursed children who reside in this place were saved by Kaito (and 1000+ clones).

I mean, Kaito didn’t try to become like Kamijou Touma in the original, who owns a harem of Misaka sister clones... but then, Kaito remembers that he also had a promise to help Misaka save her thousands of sisters later on... which made him quiet.

Although he is sure that he’s not a lolicon, Kaito couldn’t deny that somehow he gets entangled a lot with little girls for a reason, whether it’s a result of his bad luck or good luck is also debatable.

After Anna forced herself to stay, Kaito finally allowed her to sleep with him for the night (just cuddling), and Kaito himself couldn’t deny that he really had a good sleep thanks to it until morning.

Seeing Anna, who was still fast asleep, hugging his left hand tightly, Kaito, who had just woken up and was still lying on his back (but ready to make action), decided to open the group chat to greet and remind everyone about today’s big event, which is to save and defeat Scorpion far away from Tokyo!

...

====

[Owner]: ”Today is the day we make history. Good morning, everyone.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Ah, Good morning, master. Let me know if you want to have breakfast.”

[God Tongue]: ”Good morning, too, Owner. We have a lot to cook, though, so it might take a while to finish.”

[Owner]: ”Thank you for your hard work, you two. Don’t forget to bring extra breakfast for Anna.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Ah, so the girl slept with you last night. Got it, master.”

...

Seeing that Erina and Sakuya immediately offered him breakfast, Kaito felt happy and warm at their care. He also didn’t find it surprising that Erina has a lot of work today, mainly because today is a big day, and all chat group members should have been told by Aika last night.

In fact, Kaito last night tried to ask the system about today’s big battle information and what’s going to happen, but the chat group system refused to answer in its usual normal price-- unless he paid hundreds of thousands of points.

Unfortunately, Kaito, while he could afford such a cost, needed his points for something else that was much more important to have in the war, so he can only pray nothing goes wrong in their plan to defeat Scorpion.

...

[Caped Baldy]: ”Good morning. I am quite excited for the battle today.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Good morning, everyone. Quite early, huh?”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”It’s a big day, after all, Crocodile-san! Also, Good morning.”

[Necromancer]: ”Good morning. I am ready to go. Kick ass some creature.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Pffft... Even Yuu could make a joke now.”

[Sekirei Number 3]: ”Indeed... and that’s a good thing.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Yeah, I am happy for Yuu!”

[Sekirei Number 3]: ”Also, Good morning. Itachi-san also already woke up, but he’s making breakfast right now and probably hasn’t opened the chat group yet.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Ah, Good morning too! Anyway, so many people online at the same time!”

[Elementary Grade Magical Girl]: ”Good morning! I also woke up early with Fate-chan! Ilya-chan also expressed her willingness to join!”

[White Devil Partner]: ”Umm! I want to fight with everyone.”

[Owner]: ”We do need every manpower we could gather. Just make sure to be careful.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Good morning, everyone. @Owner also already woke up. Do you enjoy sleeping with Anna?”

[Owner]: ”Why am I not surprised you know about it? But yeah... I can’t deny that.”

[Root Princess]: ”Kaito always had better sleep when he had someone beside him in his sleep. Preferably a girl.”

[Owner]: ”Damn... I can’t deny that either, but please, you guys are the main reason why those cursed children are doing this. Stop telling them unnecessary information.”

...

Looking at Aika and Manaka, who immediately teased him in the morning, Kaito could only wryly smile and complain silently. After all, he admitted that he enjoyed sleeping at night with company, which had become his habit after sleeping every night with Est.

’Damn, I miss Est, but soon... I will resurrect you, Est’ Kaito thought.

...

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”By the way, who’s Anna?”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”One of the cursed children that he saved recently. That one was almost dying when Kaito-san saved her, so it’s understandable why she wanted to repay the favor for him.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”And the way to do it is to sleep with him at night? Wow, no wonder Kaito-kun doesn’t want to touch any of us yet.”

[Owner]: ”Miya-san, please, you know that’s not true. Also, she came to my room on his own, okay?”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”There are a lot of cursed children who want to sleep with you, Kaito-san. You must be feeling happy~”

[Owner]: ”Ravel-sama, you are not like this before. Damn, I blame everyone who taught you a lot of bad things!”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Hmmph! Even I would be jealous. After all, you are popular with cursed children, Kaito-san!”

[Owner]: ”...”

[God Tongue]: ”Kaito became the most popular person among us not only because he can create toys, but also saved the most cursed children in the base.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Pffft... Good for you, Kaito.”

[Owner]: ”Well... Let’s say, although I do not need their service, I understand and am aware of why I have become my favorite. Even I fell in love with Ravel-sama when he saved my life back then.”

...

Just remember that everything about that chat group would never have happened without Ravel saving his life, always enough to make Kaito feel gratitude for her, and she’s easily become his number one favorite girl among all of girls that he likes in the chat group.

...

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Kaito?! That’s come out of nowhere?!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Ara~ Blatant confession. But don’t worry, we are also thankful for Ravel-san’s doing.”

[Root Princess]: ”Me too. Ravel is the only girl in your harem that I would accept the most if she wants to take the main position. Especially after I learn the whole chat group happened because Ravel decided to save Kaito-sama.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Ravel-sama is a benefactor for all chat group members.”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Ugh... everyone please don’t tease me!”

[Owner]: ”Anyway, back to the main topic. @everyone, are you guys ready for today? How many people will come to help?”

[God Tongue]: ”How many people will come? I will create an extra food portion depending on how many of participants.”

[God Tongue Secretary]: ”I am sorry, but I can’t help you, Erina-sama. Since I am part of the defense system of Paradise City, I need to say and guard the city with Night Raid.”

[God Tongue]: ”It’s okay~ I can’t handle it myself.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”I also apologize for not coming to that world. Since I always hold the Paradise city wall, which main defense of the city, I can’t go to help either. I am sorry.”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”Miya-san and I also stay in the High School of the Dead world to guard our current expanded base. With all the top fighters coming in, I don’t see the reason why we should come too. I am quite weak, after all.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Someone needs to stay too to manage everyone. It would be bad if everyone were gone and the base went out of control.”

[Owner]: ”So, that makes it 4 people not participating... does it mean everyone else is coming?”

[Caped Baldy]: ”I am ready to come. Protecting people is a hero job.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”There is no way I would miss this chance to go all out and destroy as many monsters as I can.”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirate]: ”I want to see cursed children and help everyone, too!”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”I am ready, Owner. My Full Body Susanoo should be helpful in this fight.”

[Elementary Grade Magical Girl]: ”We are also ready. After all, defeating monsters is a magical girl’s main job!”

[Owner]: ”Thank you, everyone. I am glad everyone is willing to come! To make sure everything goes right, I will pay the system to apply the ’Varanium’ effect on all of your abilities during the war.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Good reminder. Gastrea creature would just continue to regenerate if there’s no Varanium effect hitting them.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”That would be troublesome.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Ah, I almost forgot they do have such property. Thank you, Kaito!”

[Root Princess]: ”Kaito-kun, that’s pretty helpful. But would it cost you a lot of points?”

[Owner]: ”Don’t worry, this is the least thing to do for everyone. After all, I have more income points than everyone, and it’s still partly my fault for everything to come to this point.”

...

After negotiating with the system last night, the system already told him to pay 15.000 points per person to apply the Varanium effect on each of their ability. This is the main reason why he can’t afford to buy the information earlier, but Kaito thinks this is the most important thing to have in the fight against Scorpion and the Gastrea creature.

After all, Gastrea creature capable of regenerating themselves, although not endlessly, but it’s still very troublesome to deal with, especially in a big war against large number of them.

The only members that don’t need such a thing are Saitama, Yuu, and Kaito himself. Now, 4 members confirmed to abstain from the war, Kaito only needs to pay 210.000 points, which is still a huge amount of points, but thankfully, his privilege and all members’ daily tasks for the month were more than enough to gather more than 200.000 points.

...

[God Tongue]: ”Anyway, the breakfast will be ready in half an hour! I hope everyone will come!”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Got it. I will be there on time.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Me too.”

[Necromancer]: ”Me too.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”I will go with Kazehana after we’re done with our breakfast. Though we all sure none of us mind for more.”

[Elementary Grade Magical Girl]: ”Erina nee-san’s cooking is very good, after all!”

[Owner]: ”That’s indeed true.”

[God Tongue]: ”That’s all I can help with. I am glad that I was able to help!”

[SAO Administrator]: ”@God Tongue, I am preparing the satellite and network for today’s big action. Just make sure to keep my part, Erina-san.”

[God Tongue]: ”Got it.”

...

=====

Seeing that the members would arrive in half an hour, Kaito quickly got up from his sleep to clean himself. He then proceeded to check all the props’ condition he had in inventory and Gate of Babylon, making sure they were for the big war against the army of the Gastrea creature.

After that, using teleport, Kaito also remembered to pick Midori and Jack away secretly from Rentaro this morning for breakfast. Although Rentaro should have a plot armor, Kaito didn’t want to risk anything happening to the children, as Kaito didn’t want anything to happen to Midori.
