The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Getting a notification in the chat group by Aika that all the members had gathered, Kaito who was resting in his room... took a deep breath and headed back to the meeting room to explain everything as he had promised. Unlike the usual, this time Sakuya as the head maid doesn’t pick him up in his room, but Kaito doesn’t mind about it.

The moment he opened the door to the meeting room, the 26 chairs (already including Fate’s character) surrounding the long table were filled, leaving the chair reserved for the chairman.

...

”Owner, welcome back... and thanks for your good job.” (Crocodile)

”You did a good job, Owner.” (Erina)

”Kaito, I admit you did a good job this time.” (Misaka)

”Owner, welcome back.” (Itachi)

”You are worthy as our leader.” (Kazehana)

”I see you bring a lot of new people, as expected of you, Kaito.” (Nico Robin)

”Is this meeting about the new people you bring in here? Saber is especially a great recruit for your team.” (Kayaba)

...

The members, who did not know about Est, were still in a cheerful mood, and of course, everyone welcomed Kaito, the main character of this meeting, with cheerful enthusiasm. Only a group of Aika and Manaka chose to be silent, but everyone else didn’t notice that until Kaito sat in his seat.

”Kaito, you look awful.” Aika, who saw Kaito’s pale face, became worried and asked, ”Are you okay to continue this meeting?”

All the other members then noticed Kaito’s expression, and the previously hyped mood turned into anxiety... while Aika and Manaka’s group just started at Kaito in silence.

”His magic reserve become enormous.” Yuu sharpened her eyes and took a look carefully at him, ”But his complexion looks bad. Something wrong with his mental.”

”He looks fine in my eyes.” Saitama also commented, ”So, it should be stress.”

”Maybe he is too tired after doing the task? After all, a Very Hard task is not easy to pass with a perfect evaluation.” Crocodile commented and then added, ”We still don’t know what kind of hardship the Owner experiences alone in another world with the situation unable to access the chat group at all.”

”That might be the case.” Uta quickly agreed with Erina’s answer and then suggested, ”Should I sing you a sleeping song and we continue the meeting later?”

”I also could cook something that 100% made the Owner feel better.” Erina also volunteered and then suggested, ”We should postpone this meeting until Kaito feels much better.”

”I don’t mind if the meeting is postponed.” (Saitama)

”Me neither.” (Misaka)

”I want Kaito Brother to feel better.” (Nanoha)

”Same.” (Fate)

...

Hearing everyone’s idea to postpone the meeting, Kaito, who wanted to save Est as soon as possible, immediately became gloomy and said for the first time since entering this room.

”No, Everyone. I want to let out everything as soon as possible, so I don’t want this meeting getting delayed any further.”

”If you said so...” Aika, who acts as vice leader most of the time quickly controls the situation, ”I can guess what you want to talk about... are you sure you want to spread this news and ruin everyone’s mood?”

”Yes. The secret will be revealed sooner or later. And we can celebrate after Est is rescued.” Kaito answered seriously.

”After Est is rescued?? What happened to Est?” (Misaka)

”Est is... the girl who is your sword, right? What happened?” (Saitama)

Seeing everyone confused, Kaito closed his eyes briefly, then explained his idea, ”First, I will share with you guys my memory about my experience from beginning to end while I am doing the personal task.”

”After you watch it, you are free to punish me, because I deserve it,”

Naturally, everyone noticed a resigned tone in his voice, and his expression kept getting worse, getting them even more confused. ”Deserve it? What kind of mistake did you make during this personal task?”

”Owner, it’s not like you act like a riddler.”

”You don’t fail to get holy grail, aren’t you?”

”Did you kill people in the task?”

...

Instead of answering their questions, Kaito quickly uploaded his ”bitter” moon world memory into the chat group, from the beginning of being summoned by Rin to making a deal with Manaka and naming it ”Fate Stay Night Personal Task Experience”.

With this, Kaito doesn’t have to answer all their questions and the members can see the full picture of what happened in his task.

...

Everyone noticed the memory uploaded by Kaito and downloaded it quickly. They were curious why Kaito acted like this and understood what was happening in that world.

Dozens of minutes later, the meeting room was filled with silence because they focused on watching, and occasionally looked at Kaito with anger/disappointment. Only Saber and co were silent and decided not to move because they could guess that the chat group members were currently watching Kaito’s ”experience”.

>>>>>

After a while, the members who used the quick watch feature in the chat group were finally done absorbing the memory... and understood why Kaito had become like this.

The atmosphere in the meeting room that was originally filled with joy was now filled with silence.

Some members looked at Kaito with pity and complicated looks, but some of them also looked at Kaito with anger.

Those looks were enough to make Kaito tremble all over again, but he quickly calmed down because he was determined to accept whatever the chat group told him.

...

”Well... that was... something,” Saitama reacted first, ”Your experience is certainly far more different than the original.”

”You are unlucky to have Tohsaka Rin as your master, Kaito.” Aika also reacted, ”Though, this kind of thing is expected thanks to your worst luck.”

”In the original, it took a few days from holy grail war to finish.” Crocodile followed and then looked at Manaka with wary, ”But the holy grail war you know of has become so much different since it was manipulated.”

”The chat group doing this again... changing the world as we know it for some reason.” Erina complained, gritting her teeth in anger, ”This task is supposed to be easy for the Owner, but what the Owner experienced is very miserable.”

”Yeah... Kaito accidentally killed that many people because of the circumstances, it must have been painful.” Yuu, looked at Kaito with a complicated look, ”Even I never killed that much in my entire life, Kaito.”

”Kaito-san almost died in the task, and Est was...” Ravel muttered sadly.

As an innocent little girl, Est is one of the most popular people among the group members... even Crocodile and Kayaba get along with her. To know the fact that she was killed-- some of them still can’t accept it, especially member who has a soft spot for her.

”...”

During the silence, Aika, who seemed to be holding back her anger, suddenly voiced her opinion, ”Kaito, I am disappointed in you. Some of your decisions in my opinion are too immature, and I can’t believe how stupid you are in this task.”

”I always know you are not that smart, but this one? It’s putting the cherry on top.”

Sakuya who also feels angry, nodded and added, ”That’s because Master always lets other people help him to manage everything, and his personal growth is stunned because of it.”

”You are correct Sakuya, Kaito-kun needs to grow up and stop relying on others.” Miya, who also feels disappointed then suggested, ”Not only in strength but all aspects.”

”...I am sorry”

Among the group of girls who are close to Kaito, only Ravel and Akitsu choose to not say anything, but from their eyes, it’s clear that they are also disappointed with him.

No one in the chat group dared to retort or help Kaito right now-- since everyone knew those girls were a group of people who got along with Est the most and naturally got affected the most.

Kaito himself doesn’t dare to fight back, since it’s his fault, and the fact the girls are mad is a sign that his family cares for each other deeply.

All he can do now is to let them vent on him until everyone calms down.

...

”Sorry? ....Do you think a sorry is enough for a mistake that cost the life of someone close to you?”  Aika gritted her teeth in anger and then asked, ”Kaito!!”

”During that personal task of yours... I can’t believe you would be that reckless Kaito. What were you thinking using a weapon you didn’t know the consequences of?!”

”Est warned you, Kaito! But you still doing it! What are you thinking to endanger other people like this!”

Aika scowled and pointed her finger at Kaito, ”And it’s not just random people, it’s your people! people who are closest to you!”

”What kind of leader are you who endangers your subordinate!?”

”I-I am sorry..”

”If you are that smart and strong, your first target should be Gilgamesh instead of following the so-called plot! You know he is hiding there even before the holy grail war started and none of the servants even exist yet so there’s no so-called plot deviation!”

”You are too rigid! Conceited! To fixate on the plot! You are too arrogant!”

”Sorry..”

”The enemy doesn’t even know any of your ability but you give them time to prepare instead!”

”You took Berserker easily, yet you are struggling against Hero King because you let him prepare enough to see all of your cards!”

”I-I am so sorry... I won’t do it again...”

*Slap*

...!!

Using a point from the chat group, Aika slapped his face at a distance with anger, ”Stop saying sorry! Can you say anything else?!”

”...”

”Aika-san... isn’t... that enough?”

Ravel who sits beside Aika, had enough of this, quickly grabs her hand and persuades her with teary eyes, ”Kaito already did his best and regrets what he did... and he promised to improve himself!”

”He does deserve a punishment, but for now... isn’t that enough? After all, Kaito back then was alone and helpless without everyone...”

”Kaito is working on a mission with very hard difficulty... alone... without anyone to help him... and our expectations are weighing on him too... Aika, please... enough.”

”...”

Hearing Ravel’s persuasion, Aika finally lowered her hands and sat back down on the chair with a resigned expression while also tearing up... because she knew, she had indeed gone overboard.

Kaito who looked very sad, lifeless, and depressed made all the members feel bad, especially because this was the first time Kaito had acted like this.

The Kaito they knew was someone who did not give up easily and was always confident even in difficult situations.

They also knew that Kaito loved this group more than anyone else here, and genuinely considered them as family. It was not a secret that the one who suffered the most in this group was him, losing a family member that he killed accidentally by his hand.

...

”Kaito, the main purpose of this meeting... Not because of this boring reveal, but it is because you want to save Est right as soon as possible, right?”

As a person who knows him the best in the chat group, Aika believes Kaito is not the type a person who indulges in the past-- even if the situation is as bad as right now.

Aika believes Kaito must have a plan for how to earn forgiveness from everyone in the chat group, and there’s no way he would dare initiate this meeting just to get scolded by everyone.

...

And sure enough, hearing Aika’s sudden question, Kaito stared back at her and nodded silently, ”Yes.”

”Do you have found the way?”

”Yes. I have asked the system and the system gave me another task to do it.” Kaito explained, ”Task to let me resurrect Est back from the dead.”

...!!!

Hearing Kaito’s positive answer, all the members immediately looked at him, some of them looked very determined and even Saber’s group also became serious.

”But I need everyone’s help because I don’t think I can do it alone.”

Kaito shook his head and bowed his head deep down in front of everyone, begging, ”No, please help me. Doing everything alone is terrible and I don’t want it.”

”...”

Without asking ”why”, Sakuya asked directly, ”How? How can we help you, master?”

”...Since her soul has shattered, we naturally need to collect it to resurrect her back.”  Kaito answered and explained, ”Her soul fragments happen to land in 3 different worlds and we need to find and collect it back.”

...!!

”Then what are you waiting for?!” Misaka asked impatiently, ”We just need to split up into teams and visit those 3 worlds to find Est’s soul fragment right?”

”That’s the problem.”

Kaito shook his head and sighed in a serious tone, ”Unlike all those worlds before, the three worlds we will visit are different.”

”With our current strength, it’s not a particularly difficult world at all, but you need a strong ’heart’ to venture into these worlds later.”

”Strong heart?” (Aika)

”Yeah. Take a look at this group task panel so you can see what’s the task about.”

After that, Kaito then brings up a task panel in front of everyone, this time in the form of a hologram that can also be seen by the other Sabers.
