The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Kaito, who saw the many pings he received from the members, became happy because he realized how much the other members cared about him even though he was also afraid.

He also realizes how much he misses them, and why he is willing to do everything to protect his family.

Although Kaito was afraid of being scolded and hated by other members, he also didn’t want to hide what happened... it was just that the current situation was not conducive and it was better to explain something like that in a meeting.

For now, Kaito decided to enter the chat group first otherwise the pings from the members wouldn’t stop coming to him.

====

[Owner]: ”Hello, I am back. It has been a while everyone.”

[God Tongue]: ”@Everyone Owner is here!”

[Necromancer]: ”Welcome back!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Welcome back, Kaito.”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Kaito-san, welcome back!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Welcome!”

[Sekirei Number 7]: ”Welcome back, master.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Welcome back, Kaito-kun.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Master, welcome back.”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”Kaito, how are you?”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Kaito, how do you do?”

...

Seeing the response from the chat group that welcomed him and immediately asked for news, Kaito felt touched because his efforts to become a person worthy of being a leader had paid off.

However, at the same time, this also made Kaito even more afraid because he had disappointed their trust... since Est got sacrificed in the whole ordeal.

He is especially afraid of Sakura, who often takes care of her-- and probably thought of her as her daughter.

...

[Owner]: ”...I am okay, and my task is already done.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Including the optional task?”

[Owner]: ”Yes.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”That’s really good news.”

[God Tongue]: ”Indeed! Now I can bring others and grandpa to come here without cost.”

[Elementary Grade Magical Girl]: ”Me too! I could also bring my friend and Yuno with me!”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Good job, Kaito.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”This is going to make the management inside Kaitogakure easier.”

[Sekirei Number 3]: ”Yeah, I could also play with my husband anytime I want without thinking about the cost.”

[Railgun]: ”Should something like this need to be celebrated?”

[God Tongue]: ”Good idea! I can bring every top 10 in Totsuki to come to the base world and cook for everyone!”

[Musican of Red Hair Pirates]: ”I also don’t mind creating a concert to celebrate this!”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”That would be exciting!”

[Magician of Exodus]: ”Indeed. What do you think about this, @Owner?”

[Owner]: ”Um... It’s okay.”

[Magician of Exodus]: ”Kaito, it’s not like you to not excited about something like this. Did something happen in the task?”

[Owner]: ”...How did you know?”

...

Aika, who had dedicated her time to fully understand Kaito’s behavior, was immediately suspicious of his short answers... making her believe that something bad had happened while Kaito was working on his task.

It’s like Kaito has become mature... and from the way he answers, Aika is convinced that Kaito is probably also depressed.

Kaito was also surprised by Aika’s questions, not expecting her to be that sensitive about his attitude. However, when he remembers how long Aika has been together with him which can be traced back from SAO world, any of his girls probably would catch on later on.

...

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Then, something is happened. Probably not good. What it is?”

[Owner]: ”Uh...”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Actually, what is happened in the task? What kind of task do you do to make you disconnected from the chat group?”

[Necromancer]: ”Indeed. Some of us thought you were getting kicked from the chat group!”

[Owner]: ”Yeah, about that. Let me show you the details about my task panel and the result.”

*DING*

=====

[Owner uploaded the Personal task Panel and Personal task result Panel to the chat group.]

=====

Confused about how to answer, Kaito decided to share his personal task panel with the chat group for them to see. After the chat group saw that panel, various reactions were shown by the members, but mostly shocked since the reward was a bit too much.

[God Tongue]: ”This... the reward, Do all your tasks have prizes as grand as this, Owner?!”

[Necromancer]: ”Infinity mana... Kaito, you don’t need to rent my magic power anymore... Congratulations.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”Besides the removal of the cost, there’s also a free chance to upgrade chat group level... that’s saving so much effort.”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”Indeed... this is even more worth thing to celebrating!”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”And at level 3, the [Portal] feature is also unlocked, an indestructible portal that serves as a bridge between the worlds. Building and distributing materials to the base world will be much easier with the portal.”

[Sekirei No.3]: ”Minato-kun would be happy to hear this news including other Sekirei.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”We can also build the portal on Kaitogakure later as we have planned.”

[SAO Blacksmith]: ”And my world...!! Although it’s probably not a good idea.”

While some are paying attention to the rewards, some of the members are also curious about the task itself-- especially how it goes and how difficult it is.

Kaito peerage members are certainly concerned with it, especially Aika who always pays attention to his well-being.

...

[Baroque Work Leader]: ”The reward is good, but I am more curious about the task that describes it as Very Hard. How difficult it is?”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Do you meet an enemy that you can’t even handle, Kaito?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Kaito, what is this holy grail war? I don’t think you have shared the memory about this before.”

[God Tongue]: ”Is it another story we can watch?”

[Owner]: ”Yes. I could share the memories about that world, but I will only explain what’s happening to me while doing this task later.”

...

Seeing Kaito’s answer, some smart members like Crocodile and Aika in the chat group immediately caught the reason behind Kaito doing this-- either something bad happen during the task or there’s something that could only be explained in plain sight.

Or both.

Fortunately, none of the chat group members objected and believed Kaito.

...

[Magician of Exodus]: ”I see. You are the leader, so we can only follow your order.”

[Baroque Work Leader]: ”Indeed. I agree with what Aika said.”

[Owner]: ”Wait a second.”

*DING*

=====

[Owner uploaded Memory Copy ”Fate Stay Night” to the chat group.]

=====

A few seconds after Kaito uploaded his memory copy, as usual, a notification showed up in his sight, overlapping with the chat group interface.

=====

*DING*

=====

[Railgun Girl has downloaded the memory copy of Fate Stay Night]

[Baroque Works Leader has downloaded the memory copy of Fate Stay Night]

[Elementary Grade Magical Girl has downloaded the memory copy of Fate Stay Night]

[Necromancer has downloaded the memory copy of Fate Stay Night]

...

Congratulations, You have been rewarded with 21000 Points!

=====

Kaito, who forgot that doing this would give him points-- could only smile sadly. Although the time he was blocked from the group chat was not long (a few days), Kaito felt like it had been a long time since he had chatted like this in the chat group.

Looking that the chat suddenly becomes quiet, probably busy watching the original memory of the plot, Kaito decides it’s the right time to close the chat group for a while so he can finish his business in Moon World.

=====

[Owner]: ”Anyway, I will explain everything that happened during the task in the meeting. So... let’s have a meeting when I am done with this world.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”No problem on my side.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”I could go out of the village for a while.”

[God Tongue]: ”We might as well celebrate on that day.”

[Necromancer]: ”I agree.”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”I also will prepare rehearsal for my concert!”

[Owner]: ”...Isn’t that bit too fast? How about doing that after we build the portal for each world?”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”No. At that, time, we are going to be busy building a community around them.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Indeed. After the portal was done, I immediately wanted to develop my area in this base world.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”I also going to be busy taking care of Kaitogakure.”

[Owner]: ”I see... Then, I will close the chat group since I still have business to take care of.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Mention us when you decide to go back to base world!”

=====

Seeing the chat group insisting on celebrating, Kaito could only remain silent and sad because of the situation.

Kaito was afraid that when they found out that Est was ”killed” on this mission, the mood to celebrate would be ruined but Kaito also didn’t want to spread this news now through the chat group.

As it feels disrespectful to Est as his family members.

Also, Kaito noticed that it seemed like the chat groups had an idea to create their territory in the base world later which would be made around their world portal.

Kaito wondered if something like this could break the relationship between chat group members, considering the ’resource’ in the base world that was not yet known to be limited or not.

However, Kaito also believed that Aika would help him to control them, and probably set some laws to regulate the member’s area.

At worst, if the problem was serious, Kaito remembered that he had full control of organizing the base world as he pleased.

>>>>>

After closing the group chat, Kaito realized that everyone in the Emiya residence was looking at him-- maybe because he looked strange, because Kaito was lost in thought, and changed his expression even though there was nothing in front of him.

”So you are chatting with the chat group right now?”

Manaka looked at her with curious eye, ”We notice you become strangely quiet just now.”

”Yes.”

Kaito who thinks that something like this does not need to hide quickly explained, ”After finishing the task, I can access the chat group again.”

”Have you told them about Est yet?” Manaka asked.

”No.” Kaito muttered in a sad tone, ”...But I will tell them later.”

Hearing Kaito answer, no one critiques or blames him, including Tohsaka Rin. After all, everyone knows Kaito genuinely regrets the event and it is his choice when he wants to reveal what’s happening.

”Anyway, since everything is done. Let’s pack up and leave when you ready.”

Kaito smiled at everyone and said, ”I will be waiting for a half hour so Ilya, Saber, and Manaka please be prepared.”

”I am always ready.” (Manaka)

”I will follow mommy everywhere.” (Jack)

”Me too! As long Berserker is with me!” (Ilya)

”I... yeah, let me prepare some clothes and perhaps some utility.” Saber murmured and looked at Rin, ”...Will you help me, Rin?”

”Hmmp! Of course, I don’t mind.”

Rin answered in a ’tsundere’ way, and then turned at Kaito, ”When you let us visit another world?”

”Although I am not saying it, I believe the rest of us are curious about that too!”

Hearing Rin’s question, Kaito took a step back and looked away, ”Maybe... soon... yeah.”

”Hmmph! You don’t like serious about it.”

Rin snorted and stated, ”Anyway, I have become rich thanks to you so I don’t care that much will either way!”

”...Yeah, you’re welcome.”

Although the portal feature that will be opened later allows Rin to visit them anytime in the base world, honestly Kaito doesn’t want to install the portal here.

The portal can only be installed once in each world, so even though he also wants Shirou to visit his world, Kaito himself knows that this cannot be done and will be opposed by other chat group members.

If there is a chance, he would prefer to place his portal in Chaldea where servants come and go from many parallel worlds, and is certainly the main choice as a place to install the portal.

...

After that, Kaito waiting everyone prepared themselves, why he also start trying to play with his new ”resource.”. Sure enough, although Kaito has no problem of deploying Infinity energy, he still need to train and know how to control it later-- as right now, using magic power carelessly would only tire him physically to death.

Yeah, Kaito apparently found out now his situation is similar to Manaka- he could took magic power as much as he want, but the limitation his own physical capability to accommodate such amount of energy. Hence, Kaito next goal to strengthen himself is to increase his physical strength even further.

Not long after that, Saber who had been equipped with many casual clothes by Rin was ready to go with Kaito. Thus, Kaito, as he already promised, then invited the five of them to come back to the base world... leaving Rin, Shirou and Sakura in this world.

He also did not forget his promise to inform the chat group that he is about to return too, considering he also want the meeting happen as soon as possible.
