Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1147: Chapter 1146: Magical Girls and the All-New Club

”Huh...”

Sakura let out a long yawn, then shook her head to perk up her spirit. Seeing Sakura in such a sleepy state, Shisei quietly leaned over to ask.

”Are you okay, Sakura?”

”Ah, Shisei... I’m okay...”

Hearing Shisei’s inquiry, Sakura replied with a wry smile.

”It’s just... I’m a bit sleep-deprived.”

”Everything that happened last night was indeed unforgettable.”

Hearing Sakura’s response, Shisei also nodded. In fact, even after she went home, it took her a long time to fall asleep, as last night’s events were truly thrilling. Not only did strange creatures appear, but there were also other Magical Girls, each with different battle strategies...

How to put it... In Shisei’s eyes, it was as if a door to a new world had opened.

This made her somewhat restless, and that’s why she didn’t sleep well today either. But fortunately, she could still hold herself together, unlike Sakura, who was dozing off.

”Don’t worry; it’s almost noon, isn’t it?”

Seeing Sakura looking eager, Shisei couldn’t help but speak out to comfort her. Last night, before they left, Fang Zheng had mentioned that there was something to discuss, and they should go to the third activity room during lunch break the next day. It was almost lunchtime now, so Sakura was quite looking forward to it.

In fact, even Shisei herself was very curious.

Not only them, but in another classroom, Nanoha was also very much looking forward to it. Unlike Sakura, Nanoha could easily concentrate in class. The reason was simple... Fang Zheng was the one teaching their class.

”Alright, that’s it. I’ve already assigned the homework, remember to complete it.”

After saying this, right on cue, the bell rang, and Fang Zheng smiled and nodded to the students in front of him.

”Then, have a good rest.”

After saying this, Fang Zheng turned and left the classroom. After he left, the students in the classroom collectively sighed with relief and then began to chatter happily.

”Nanoha, let’s have lunch.”

At the same time, Nanoha’s two friends approached her, inviting her to lunch. Normally, Nanoha would accept the invitation and go to the garden in the courtyard to chat and eat bentos, then rest for a bit before the afternoon classes, but today...

”Sorry, Suzuka, Alisa, I have something to do, you don’t have to wait for me.”

While speaking, Nanoha apologized and smiled at the two, then picked up her bento and hurried out of the classroom.

”??”

Seeing Nanoha hurrying away, Suzuka and Alisa exchanged curious glances.

”What’s going on?”

”You ask me, I don’t know either...”

After leaving the classroom, carrying her bento, Nanoha jogged to the activity room next to the school building and started searching one by one.

”The third activity room, the third activity room... Ah, here it is!”

Seeing the room with the third activity room tag in front of her, Nanoha sighed with relief, then approached the door and carefully knocked. Soon, Fang Zheng’s voice came from inside.

”Come in.”

”Excuse me.”

As she spoke, Nanoha opened the door and entered the activity room. Inside, Fang Zheng was sitting behind a desk, and Illyasphiel and Little Hei were sitting on the sofa not far away, laughing and talking about something. Seeing Nanoha, they quickly raised their hands to greet her, and Nanoha hurriedly returned the gesture.

Then, the little one sat down with her bento at another slightly distant spot.

This was to be expected; although they’d met the previous night, the only person Nanoha was familiar with here was Fang Zheng.

”Knock, knock, knock.”

Not long after Nanoha sat down, there was another knock on the door, and then Sakura and Shisei walked in.

”Alright.”

Seeing everyone gathered, Fang Zheng clapped his hands.

”Now that everyone’s here, let’s get started... Hmm, first, I think we should introduce ourselves to each other. Starting with me, my name is Fang Zheng. I currently teach at this school and am also a Dimensional Mage... Alright, next, Illyasphiel.”

”Ah, yes!”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s name call, Illyasphiel hurriedly stood up.

”My, my name is Illyasphiel...”

With Fang Zheng and Illyasphiel starting, Nanoha got to know the others. Including the tan-skinned girl Chloe (nicknamed Little Hei) and Sakura Kinomoto and her friend Tomoyo Daidouji...

Of course, they also introduced how they became Magical Girls.

But for Fang Zheng, these weren’t the main points.

”Alright, now that we know each other, let’s get to the main issue.”

After confirming that the atmosphere was no longer as tense as at the beginning, Fang Zheng swiftly got to the point.

”About the creatures you encountered last night... Have you come across them before?”

”Well...”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s question, Sakura frowned and thought for a moment, then shook her head.

”I haven’t seen them, teacher.”

”Neither have I... Lord Yuno said they might be native creatures of Earth... Is that not the case?”

”How could such things exist on Earth?”

Fang Zheng paid no mind to the guesses of that Snow Mongoose. He could recite these animated series by heart and was sure he had never seen such strange enemies appear en masse in front of the main characters!

But at this moment, Fang Zheng noticed that Shisei seemed to be recalling something. She was silent for a moment, then slowly raised her hand.

”Teacher, I might have... seen those creatures.”

”Eh?!”

Hearing Shisei speak, Sakura was suddenly surprised and widened her eyes, staring at her.

”Shisei, you’ve seen them? When?”

”It was ten days ago when you captured the Jump card, Sakura. After filming, I seemed to catch a glimpse of a dark, shadowy figure resembling a person hiding not far away, watching us. And its eyes seemed to glow red.”

”But you didn’t say anything back then?”

”I thought I might have just seen things wrong. After all, I only caught a quick glimpse, and...”

Saying this, Shisei looked at Sakura with some embarrassment.

”I also know Sakura is quite afraid of such things...”

”...”

Hearing this, Sakura suddenly fell silent, clearly aware that she couldn’t shake her fear of ghostly things.

However...

”Ten days ago...”

Fang Zheng and company arrived in this world less than a week ago, so it can be confirmed that these creatures didn’t appear because of them. Instead, it seems to support Fang Zheng’s hypothesis that this world might be in danger, summoning them here.

And those strange Shadow Creatures might be the key.

”Sakura, Nanoha.”

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng looked at the two again.

”What do you plan to do next?”

”Eh?”

”I believe you discovered in yesterday’s battle that there are some very dangerous creatures lurking and watching you. They might appear the next time you capture a Clow Card or a Seed of Holy Stone. So, what do you plan to do? Keep in mind, these creatures can’t be communicated with at the moment, and they’re quite dangerous, potentially even life-threatening. What do you plan to do?”

”...”

This time, facing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, both Sakura and Nanoha remained silent for a while before Sakura eventually spoke up.

”I still decide to help Little Ke recover all the Clow Cards, since losing them was my fault, I need to find them all again.”

”I, I also!”

And Nanoha hurriedly followed suit.

”I will also help Lord Yuno recover all the Seeds of Holy Stone.”

”Good.”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng nodded with satisfaction, then smiled as he looked at the two of them.

”Then, are you willing to participate in club activities?”

”Eh?”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s inquiry, both Sakura and Nanoha were taken aback.
