Chapter 1145: Chapter 1144: Rescue and a Meeting of the Century

And now, Little Sakura and others are already in danger.

”Little Ke, what should we do?”

Having opened the ”Shield”, Little Sakura held the Magic Wand in her hand and asked nervously. Although this was not her first battle, generally speaking, the Clow Cards’ Elves were relatively mild. However, these terrifying black Demon Creatures were obviously different. Even though Little Sakura didn’t know what they were, she could feel the brutal and fierce killing intent they emitted.

”Uh... Let me think, let me think...”

Little Ke, speaking in an Osaka accent, was also anxiously rushing around. If it could return to its original form, then Little Ke was confident it could eliminate these Demon Creatures that had popped up from nowhere. But now, having lost the Clow Cards, it was just a doll that could fly, with no power at all.

If it were only Little Sakura, perhaps she could still escape, but Shisei was also by her side.

”Little Ke! The Shield seems to be failing!!”

However, at this moment, an even worse situation occurred---the Shield that originally protected the three of them began to flash intermittently. Little Sakura tightly held the Magic Wand, showing a somewhat strained expression.

”Oh no, the Magic Power is almost depleted!”

Seeing this, Little Ke was also taken aback. It knew exactly what was happening. When recovering the Clow Cards earlier, Little Sakura had already consumed a considerable amount of Magic Power, and after encountering the Shadow Monsters’ attacks, her Magic Power was soon nearly exhausted!

”Bang!!”

Another Shadow Creature heavily collided with the Shield and fell back. Although the Shield blocked its attack, this strike seemed to be the final straw that broke the camel’s back. Accompanied by a crisp shattering sound, the Shield suddenly broke, and Little Sakura screamed, fell back, and sat down on the ground.

”Little Sakura!!”

Seeing this, Shisei hurriedly ran to Little Sakura’s side. Those Shadow Creatures had already completely surrounded them, emitting sharp and cold laughter, like a pack of wolves mocking their prey. Seeing this, Little Sakura tightly hugged Shisei beside her. Although she didn’t know what to do next, she... must protect her friend!

And just at this moment, suddenly, a voice came from above.

”Scatter!!”

At the same time, pink pellets fell from the sky, exploding among the groups of Demon Creatures. The Shadow Creatures, caught off guard by the sudden attack, were greatly startled and hurriedly retreated.

”Now, Shisei, let’s go!”

Little Sakura reacted quickly. Upon seeing those Shadow Creatures scatter, she hurriedly grabbed Shisei’s hand, and together with Little Ke, swiftly charged through the path that was cleared, escaping from the encirclement.

”Roar——!!”

Clearly, the Shadow Creatures did not want to see their prey escape. Seeing Little Sakura and others attempting to break through the encirclement, they roared angrily and lunged again.

However, before the pitch black Demon Creatures’ claws could reach Little Sakura and others, a silver-white sword light appeared suddenly, ruthlessly tearing through the bodies of the black Demon Creatures.

”Crane Wing Triple!!”

”Waa——!!”

Accompanied by their screams, the leading dark Demon Creature instantly dispersed. At this moment, having escaped the encirclement, Little Sakura, Shisei, and Little Ke turned back and looked behind them. Standing there were two girls whose ages seemed similar to theirs. One wore a red and black tight outfit, wielding two Daggers. The other wore a pink short skirt with long boots, holding a Magic Staff similar to the pink one in Little Sakura’s hand...

They had beautiful silver-white long hair like Moonlight and very familiar cute faces...

”Illya Sister? Sister Little Hei?!”

Seeing these two people, Little Sakura screamed immediately.

”Huh? Little Sakura, do you know them?”

Upon hearing Little Sakura’s scream, Little Ke couldn’t help but look at her in amazement, and Little Sakura nodded.

”Yeah, didn’t I tell you before that neighbors moved in next to our house... Huh? Are they also Mages?”

”We’ll talk later, let’s deal with these Demon Creatures first! Illya, let’s go!”

”Okay!”

Upon hearing Little Hei’s words, Illya nodded, then looked at the Demon Creatures in front of her, touched the bottom of her skirt with her right hand, and drew out a card marked SABER.

”Phantasmal Summoning!”

With Illya’s call, the golden card at the top of her Magic Wand suddenly emitted a dazzling Radiance enveloping her whole body. Moments later, as the light dispersed, Illya entirely transformed—now she wasn’t wearing a pink Magical Girl Outfit but a pure white Kimono, and the Magic Staff in her hand had turned into a long Katana.

”Wow.”

Witnessing this, Little Hei let out a whistle. Illya rarely initiated Phantasmal Summoning directly in battle, but this time in front of Little Sakura, she used it... Could it be the competitive spirit among Magical Girls?

”Hoo...”

Transformed, Illya exhaled lightly and then opened her eyes.

At this moment, her originally scarlet eyes suddenly changed to the Azure color.

”——!”

Upon being stared at by Illya’s eyes, even the Shadow Creatures rushing towards them couldn’t help but tremble. Being watched by those eyes, they seemed to—see death.

”It’s all a dream—this is the farewell flower.”

While speaking, Illya raised the long sword in her hand.

”Direct Death—disappear between Ryougi!”

With her shout, Illya’s figure flashed, and a dazzling sword light transformed into thunder, passing through the Demon Creature group in front. In the next moment, Illya appeared behind the Shadow Creatures, turned her back to them, held the long sword tightly, and swung it downward.

”Swish——!”

In the next instant, the Demon Creatures behind Illya were instantly sliced into scattered Fragments, vanished into the air with piercing screams.

”Nice job, Illya! I won’t fall behind!”

Seeing Illya’s battle, Little Hei nodded satisfactorily, then she also Summon two Daggers, charging into the Demon Creatures in front.

Although these Shadow Creatures previously exhibited considerable strength, once Little Hei arrived, they were as powerless as lambs. Little Hei moved through the Shadow Creatures like a tiger among sheep, easily maneuvering, and each sword stroke would instantly kill a Shadow Creature. Not long after, the Demon Creatures in front had been almost entirely wiped out by the two of them.

”So amazing...”

Little Sakura and Shisei watched the scene in amazement, eyes wide open, speechless. Though Little Sakura had fought the Clow Cards’ Elves in the past, those battles were generally relatively ”peaceful”. The Clow Cards rarely appeared to be chasing someone to extinction.

However, now, Little Hei and Illya’s battles were more intense, almost like scenes from a movie. Shisei, feeling excited, picked up her camera and began capturing the moments.

They had never expected to witness such a scene!

But, the danger was not over.

”Uh...”

”Another one?”

Even though Illya and Little Hei teamed up to eliminate this wave of Shadow Creatures, soon, more Shadow Creatures emerged from the woods. Seeing this, Little Hei frowned and then got ready to draw a bow...

”Hold on, Little Hei, using the False Spiral Sword here will attract too much attention!”

Illya quickly reacted, pressing down Little Hei’s hand.

”Then what do you propose? This could go on forever!”

”MASTER told us to meet him, let’s retreat!”

”Alright.”

Upon hearing Illya’s words, Little Hei thought for a moment, then nodded. Both immediately turned and went to Little Sakura and Shisei’s side.

”Let’s go!”
