Chapter 1106: Chapter 1105: Eiriri’s Strategy

”Kurumi and Eiriri, head to Ashford Academy.”

Fang Zheng emerged from the wreckage and ruins scattered on the ground, quickly issuing orders.

”That school is for Britannia’s nobility. All the noble children from Britannia study there. I’ll assign a team to you. Your task is to take complete control of the academy, preventing those young nobles from running out and getting themselves killed. Meanwhile, they’ll be our hostages.”

”Understood!”

Eiriri saluted, then turned and left with Kurumi. Black Cat and Asuna stood behind Fang Zheng, watching him.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, what should we do next?”

”We are the vanguard!”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng raised his greatsword, pointing forward.

”Now, follow me, let’s pave a path for the following troops!”

”Yes!”

At that moment, to their front, Britannia’s Nightmare Mecha quickly appeared, launching an attack toward the trio.

These mechs differed from the security forces of Area 11. They were Cornelia’s elite, true battle-hardened warriors. Yet, in front of Fang Zheng and his group, they were utterly insignificant.

”Boom boom boom!!”

The leading black mech unleashed a barrage of grenades, and soon, with the sounds of violent explosions, Fang Zheng and the others were engulfed in flames. But in just a blink of an eye, the flames dispersed, and a silver knight burst out from within, his greatsword drawing an arc in the air, slicing the black mech before him in half.

Meanwhile, amidst the intense sound of gunfire, another Nightmare Mecha drifted aside, dodging the incapacitated mech wreckage, raising its machine gun to launch another attack. However, at that moment, Black Cat suddenly descended from above. She gripped a scimitar in her right hand, spinning in the air before landing lightly, severing the black mech’s weapon along with its wrist into several pieces.

”Damn...!”

Seeing his weapon disarmed, the pilot cursed under his breath, then suddenly manipulated the mech to raise its right leg, stomping forcefully at Black Cat. In response to the attack, Black Cat flipped backward standing up, then she thrust her scimitar into the long pole behind her, tightening her grip as it transformed into a scythe, and swung fiercely at the mech.

”Swish———!!”

With the flash of a cold blade, the towering and heavy mech was instantly sliced diagonally, crashing to the ground.

”Ha... ha...!”

Gripping the control stick, the pilot gazed in horror at the smooth, neat cut beside him, breaking out in a cold sweat, fully aware that if the strike deviated even slightly, he might not be sitting here unscathed.

Huh, cowardly man.

Black Cat glanced at the paralyzed pilot, quickly shifting her gaze away, then lifted her scythe and charged toward another mech.

”Calm down, calm down! Defensive formation! Giant Shield!”

Seeing their frontline comrades effortlessly dispatched, the mechs rushing from behind were thrown into chaos, prompting their Commander to hastily shout orders. In response, the Nightmare Mecha promptly retrieved their heavy shields, attempting to shield themselves.

However, before their shields could fully interlock, a sudden flash swept past their retinas.

It was an attack like thunder and lightning. Asuna, gripping the rapier, embodied her nickname ”Flash,” piercing through the mech formation with unimaginable speed before the shields could close. The howling storm and Sword Qi shattered and scattered instantaneously, forcing even the multi-ton mechs to stagger and scatter uncontrollably.

Seizing the opportunity of their broken formation, Fang Zheng and Black Cat quickly surged forward, reducing these mechs to fragments.

”The frontline troops have been completely annihilated!”

Deathly silence pervaded the command room, with Cornelia no exception. Her eyes widened, fixated on the three figures, unable to find words. Only then did Cornelia truly sense the terrifying power of these individuals.

Japan’s exiled government could never produce such an entity! Is this a secret weapon of the Chinese Federation?

No matter, it seems that if they don’t act now, even the Governor’s Office won’t be safe.

Though recklessly hasty, this was the only choice.

With that thought, Cornelia issued a command.

”Imperial Guard, deploy, activate hover systems!”

Under Fang Zheng’s leadership, the Restoration Army’s mecha advanced fiercely, breaking through at lightning speed. Although in numbers, Britannia’s mechs undoubtedly outnumbered and outpowered the Restoration Army, they couldn’t withstand Fang Zheng, Asuna, and Black’s presence.

Facing Britannia’s mechs, the trio was like tigers among sheep, charging in and out freely, to the point where the mechs eventually dared not engage. Seeing them approach, the Britannia mech units would crumble even before the battle began.

Under such circumstances, the Restoration Army’s offensive naturally proceeded smoothly. At least on Fang Zheng’s side, they faced no obstacles. However, despite their rapid progress, resistance elsewhere was still fierce. The Restoration Army came to occupy, not destroy, forcing them into a slow, grinding advance.

And at that moment, Eiriri and Kurumi arrived at Ashford Academy.

”It’s really quite large here.”

Standing on the rooftop, gazing down at the expansive academy below, Kurumi couldn’t help but comment.

”What should we do next?”

Unexpectedly, Eiriri, staring at the academy before her, revealed a cunning smile.

”Leave it to me.”

”Alright, I’ll leave it to you then.”

Though uncertain of Eiriri’s intentions, Kurumi nodded. Their task wasn’t overly burdensome, so if Eiriri wanted to take charge, she might as well let her.

”Secure all entry and exit points outside, everyone else wait for my command.”

Without hesitation, Eiriri swiftly issued orders to the mech units accompanying them, then nimbly jumped down, arriving at a nearby corridor, glancing around.

”Hmm, I think there should be... Ah, yes, it’s here!”

As she spoke, Eiriri extended her hand, forcefully striking a fire alarm button on the wall.

”Ring ring ring!!”

Soon, the sharp, urgent alarm bell echoed across the entire campus.

What on earth is happening?

Facing the sudden alarm, Ashford Academy’s students were bewildered, but soon they rushed out of each building, gathering at the plaza under their teachers’ guidance. Seeing the students congregating in the square, Eiriri nodded in satisfaction, then issued a command.

”Alright, surround them!”

”Yes!”

Hearing Eiriri’s command, the mechs swiftly responded, charging into the school, encircling the students and teachers huddled in the plaza.

The sudden appearance of these unfamiliar mechs prompted Ashford Academy’s students to shriek instantly, with some attempting to flee. However, they stood no chance against the mechs, soon finding themselves surrounded, trembling like sheep amidst wolves.

”Hehe, how’s that? Impressive, right?”

Watching the scene unfold, Eiriri puffed up her chest proudly, while Kurumi regarded her with curiosity.

”Quite interesting, how did you come up with it?”

”This is a common scenario in humiliation games. You know, in eroge, when terrorists aim to take hostages in a school, they use this trick to gather the students, and then they can catch them one by one...”

At this point, Eiriri sighed with some regret.

”Too bad Mr. Fang Zheng isn’t here, otherwise, we could genuinely play a humiliation game...”

As she spoke, Eiriri stretched lazily.

”Alright, let’s go down to see if there are any students suitable to be main characters here at the academy. Maybe it’ll even give me some inspiration for my settings.”
