Chapter 1101: Chapter 1100: The Terrifying Darkness (Part 2)

The flash of the sword passed by.

Blood spattered, and the fierce wild dogs were instantly cut in half. Simultaneously, even the glass wall in front was sliced through, and what’s more, the ”spectator seats” where the eunuchs were sitting came crashing down in the next instant.

”Boom!!”

The spectator seats shattered like crushed tofu, falling to the ground with a dull thud. The girls watched in confusion, completely lost about what to do.

”Cough, cough, what’s happening?”

The spectator seats weren’t high, just at the height of a second floor, so falling from there wouldn’t kill anyone. It wasn’t long before the eunuchs crawled out from the pile of rubble. The leader, who was fat and big-eared, was particularly furious, dusting himself off while yelling.

”What the hell’s going on? Who did this? See if I don’t skin his... ”

However, the fat, big-eared man’s voice grew smaller and smaller as he gazed at the girl with silver-white hair standing in front of him, almost paralyzed with fear.

”Your, Your Majesty!”

The fat, big-eared man hurriedly knelt down, and the other eunuchs came to their senses at this point, all looking at His Majesty, their expressions changing drastically.

”Your Majesty!”

”You, you, you... ”

The young ruler clenched her fists, her face pale, glaring at them in anger. She had never been this furious, feeling as if a fire was blazing inside her.

”You wouldn’t let me out... just so I wouldn’t see this?!”

”The governance you said you’d manage, is this how you manage it?!”

”No, no, we, we just... ”

Facing the young ruler’s wrathful questions, the fat, big-eared man was sweating coldly, and suddenly, he thought of something.

”Right, Your Majesty, this isn’t our doing, it’s the ministers’ trick. They said there was some entertainment program, so they let us relax. We have no knowledge of this place at all...!!”

”Yes, yes, Your Majesty, we’re innocent!!”

”Enough!”

At this moment, the young ruler was no longer the weak individual facing the eunuchs as usual.

”I’ve seen it all, I’ve heard it all. You even said you’d release wild dogs to eat us! Is this how you act? You’ve always been like this, haven’t you!”

”No, it’s really not us, we don’t know anything... ”

Hearing the young ruler’s angry scolding, the fat, big-eared man showed a panicked expression, defending himself. Meanwhile, a fierce light flashed in his eyes, and he suddenly reached into his bosom, pulling out a gun aimed at the young ruler. However, in the next moment, the pitch-black greatsword swung down, instantly severing both the fat man’s fingers and the gun in half.

”Waaahhhh!!”

The fat, big-eared man let out a sharp scream, clutching his bleeding right hand and shouted loudly. At the same time, Fang Zheng’s figure emerged from beside the young ruler, one hand holding the greatsword, the other fiddling with a phone.

”Hmm, the attempt on His Majesty, conclusive evidence, and even audio-visual records... ”

While speaking, Fang Zheng pressed a few numbers with one hand, then picked up the phone.

”Hello, General Hong Gu? Yes, it’s me. I need you to bring a trustworthy team and come immediately to... what place is this? Just track the signal coordinates and come here; there’s a good show to watch. By the way, if there’s any resistance, you can eliminate it without hesitation. Also, bring some medical staff.”

Casually issuing orders, Fang Zheng then pulled over an unbroken chair and sat down, expressionlessly watching the eunuchs in front of him. At this moment, the eunuchs didn’t dare to utter a word. The fat, big-eared man was still howling on the ground, and though a few guards attempted to rush over to show allegiance, Fang Zheng casually swung his sword a few times, turning them into ground meat, scaring off any further troublemakers.

General Hong Gu acted swiftly. In just over ten minutes, gunfire was heard outside, and shortly afterward, General Hong Gu hurried in with a team of soldiers.

”Your Majesty, are you alright?”

Seeing the young ruler and Fang Zheng, Hong Gu breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly asked. Facing General Hong Gu’s inquiry, the young ruler nodded.

”I’m fine, General... arrest all of them!”

”Yes!”

Hearing the young ruler’s order, General Hong Gu quickly nodded. However, when he stood up and looked in the direction indicated by the young ruler, he was stunned. Then he turned his head back in confusion.

”Your Majesty, they... ”

”Arrest all of them!!”

”Yes, yes!”

This time, General Hong Gu hesitated no more. He certainly recognized who these fallen eunuchs were, yet General Hong Gu was also puzzled. He knew that this young ruler had always been timid and submissive towards the eunuchs and dared not oppose them. Yet now, the ruler was in such a rage, even cold-bloodedly ordering their arrest. Though uncertain about what had transpired, it was clear the relationship between the parties had ruptured!

These eunuchs were doomed!

Realizing this, General Hong Gu felt ecstatic inside, glaring fiercely at the eunuchs, then swung his hand grandly.

”Men, tie them all up for me!!”

Hearing General Hong Gu’s order, a group of soldiers charged like wolves and tigers, pinning the eunuchs to the ground and tying them up. General Hong Gu turned back again, looking at the young ruler.

”Your Majesty, do you have any other instructions?”

”Hmm, and then... um... ”

Facing General Hong Gu’s question, the young ruler fell into deep thought but seemed out of ideas for the moment, so she looked towards Fang Zheng.

”Imperial Brother?”

”Alright, leave it to me.”

While patting His Majesty’s little head, Fang Zheng gestured to General Hong Gu, brought him to the side, and then quietly relayed what had happened before.

”Ugh, these eunuchs are simply perverted!”

Looking at the shivering young girls hiding in the corner, the blood-stained torture devices, and the wild dog corpses lying on the ground, even Hong Gu couldn’t help but clench his teeth.

”It’s disgusting how these birdless things can surprise people... these animals... Your Highness, just tell me, what should we do!”

”Hmm, then you listen to me.”

Fang Zheng dared to call Hong Gu over, naturally having thought of a plan.

”Now, leave immediately, use the emperor’s disappearance as pretext, lock down the entire Luoyang, and then...”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng handed over a tablet.

”Arrest all these people.”

”This is...”

Hong Gu took the tablet, glanced at it curiously, and then his eyes widened in shock. Because the names on the tablet were all subordinates and lackeys of the eunuch faction!

”Your Majesty, these people... are you sure you want to arrest all of them?”

”Of course, we have enough evidence to prove their involvement in illegal activities, the evidence is all in here.”

Fang Zheng pointed at the tablet.

”There are call logs, bank statements, some surveillance videos, and various documents inside. You can look through them slowly when you’re arresting people.”

”Your Highness, how did you get all this?”

Looking at the list before him, General Hong Gu was utterly incredulous, and facing General Hong Gu’s inquiry, Fang Zheng merely smiled slightly.

”I was naturally prepared in advance; you didn’t think I came back just for sightseeing, did you?”

”Of course not!”

Though Fang Zheng was joking, General Hong Gu immediately tensed up and loudly replied. Now he was utterly convinced by Fang Zheng, not only possessing enormous strength capable of dismantling MS barehanded, but even these eunuchs were easily taken down with his calm demeanor and wit.

The Chinese Federation is finally saved!

”Then, I’ll leave the rest to you. Don’t forget to take care of those children.”

”Yes, Your Highness!”

Bowing respectfully to Fang Zheng, General Hong Gu immediately turned around and quickly left to carry out the orders. And at this moment, the girls hiding in the corner seemed to only now realize what had happened. They glanced at one another, somewhat unbelievingly looking at those who were once strutting around arrogantly before them, now kneeling, dejected as if they lost their fathers, the eunuchs, and the soldiers suppressing the entire facility. It took quite a while for them to react.

Are we... saved?

”I say... who exactly are you...”

At this moment, an earlier girl also walked over, staring at His Majesty in astonishment with wide eyes. She had heard the conversation between General Hong Gu and the others just now and now was filled with even more suspicion and uncertainty.

”Are you... His Majesty the Emperor?”

”Yes...”

Facing the girl in front of her, His Majesty nodded somewhat awkwardly. She looked at the girl, opened her mouth as if wanting to say something, but then didn’t know what to say. However, she watched as the girl before her stared at her blankly, then suddenly reached out and slapped her on the face.

”Slap!!”

The fiery pain on her cheek left His Majesty gazing at the girl in shock, utterly unable to comprehend why this girl, who was so nice to her just a moment ago, would hit her. However, the girl just stared at her, her eyes reddening, then turned and ran away.

”How dare you... you actually...!”

Witnessing this scene, the guards nearby were also taken aback, immediately stepping forward to try to catch the girl, but were stopped by Fang Zheng.

”No need, let her be.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng walked to His Majesty’s side and placed his hand on her shoulder. Sensing Fang Zheng’s presence, His Majesty turned to him, tears welling in her eyes.

”Imperial Brother...”

”It hurts, right? You might feel wronged, thinking you shouldn’t be treated this way, but... this is what you deserve.”

”Huh?”

”You’re not an ordinary child, Your Majesty.”

Fang Zheng gazed at His Majesty, speaking each word slowly.

”You are the supreme ruler of the Chinese Federation. You have the responsibility to manage all this, yet you abandoned your duties, and they...”

As Fang Zheng spoke, he looked at the crying, treated girls.

”They are the result of you abandoning your responsibilities.”

”..........”

This time, His Majesty said nothing. She merely silently watched the crying girls without a word, while Fang Zheng patted her shoulder.

”Remember this slap. It might be the best gift you’ll receive tonight.”
