Chapter 1142: Chapter 1141: Fang Zheng, the Girls, and the Astonishing New World

This time, Fang Zheng doesn’t need to ponder what kind of world this really is.

Because when they arrived in this world, Fang Zheng received the address and identity information of himself, Illya, and others in this new world.

In this world, Illya and Little Hei are nominally Fang Zheng’s younger sisters, while Fang Zheng is a young scholar. He came from abroad by invitation to work as a teacher at the Private Seishou University Elementary School in Uminari City, Japan, and Illya and Little Hei have also transferred to this school, attending the fifth grade.

Their new home is located at 8 Tomoe Town, Haiming City...

Simply put, it’s a two-story apartment not far from the park across the street.

”Is this our new home in this world?”

Curiously observing the new house in front of her, Little Hei showed an excited expression, while Fang Zheng nodded.

”That’s right, this is our new home, and we will live here from now on.”

”But MASTER... what are we supposed to do in this world?”

Unlike the curious Little Hei, Illya was more concerned about what they were supposed to do in this world, but Fang Zheng just patted her little head.

”You don’t need to worry about that... hmm, when the time comes, you’ll know what to do naturally.”

If in the previous worlds, Fang Zheng needed to investigate to figure out what to do, then in this world, Fang Zheng didn’t need to investigate at all. In fact, as soon as Fang Zheng saw the keywords ”Haiming City”, ”Tomoe Town”, and ”Private Seishou University Elementary School”, he immediately knew what this world was.

How should I put it... for Fang Zheng, those are full of childhood memories.

Impossible to forget for a lifetime!

And right now...

Watching Illya and Little Hei in front of him, Fang Zheng smiled lightly. He didn’t intend to say anything and just wanted to see what Illya and the others would do.

”Alright, now go check out the rooms, then we’ll go buy some things and visit the neighbors.”

”Okay!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Illya and Little Hei responded in unison, then couldn’t wait to rush into the apartment to choose their own rooms upstairs. Fang Zheng gave a meaningful glance at the neighboring house next door to his, then turned and walked inside.

The technology in this world isn’t as advanced as in the Game World, perhaps even somewhat backward. Although there are computers, TVs, and mobile phones, they are at the level of the early 21st century. For instance, the computers have the familiar big white CRT monitors and there’s no Blu-ray, still staying at the level of VCDs and DVDs, and the mobiles are the oldest flip phones.

How should I put it... for Fang Zheng, it’s really full of nostalgia...

”Sure enough, as people age, they tend to feel nostalgic.”

Watching these once familiar household appliances which have long been obsolete in his world, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but sigh. If the Game World allowed Fang Zheng to enjoy a near-futuristic real-life, then this world somewhat brought him back to his childhood days.

”Wanna go back to the past, try to continue the story...”

Humming a tune, Fang Zheng caressed the little kitten in his arms. The little kitten was closer to Fang Zheng; as soon as they entered here, it comfortably settled into Fang Zheng’s arms. Meanwhile, the little white cat had found a windowsill to bask in the sun, acting aloof.

”Oh, you’re so adorable, little cutie!”

Looking at the little kitten in his arms, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but cuddle its fluffy body against his face, then carried it while walking up the stairs.

Sure enough, as soon as he got upstairs, he heard Illya and Little Hei quarreling.

”No way, I want this room!”

”Why? I’m the older sister!”

”In any case, I won’t let you, Little Hei, sleep next to MASTER’s room! You’re definitely up to no good!”

”Oh?”

Hearing Illya’s rebuttal, Little Hei showed a meaningful smile.

”Well then, why don’t you tell me, what bad things would I do to big brother?”

”Um... um... just...”

Faced with Little Hei’s inquiry, Illya hesitated, struggling to express herself...

”Alright then, you can have this room.”

However, right at that moment, seeing Fang Zheng coming up with the little kitten in his arms, Little Hei’s eyes slightly turned, and she then cheerfully spoke.

”Huh?”

Hearing Little Hei’s response, Illya was taken aback, not expecting Little Hei to give up so quickly this time. Yet, in the next moment, Illya saw Little Hei turn around and, cat-like, cling to Fang Zheng’s arm.

”You sleep in the room next to big brother, and I will sleep with big brother together.”

”Little Hei—!!”

”Alright, you two, stop playing around.”

Fang Zheng extended his hand and knocked on Little Hei’s head, then decisively gave out the answer.

”I’ll stay in the middle, and you two can stay on either side, alright?”

Just like that, Fang Zheng smoothly resolved the issue.

”Alright, now tidy up, change clothes. We’ll go to the nearby shopping street for a walk and buy some things.”

”Okay.”

With Fang Zheng having made a decision, Illya and Little Hei didn’t oppose it anymore either. They both answered in unison and returned to the rooms that had just been decided for them. Soon, they changed their clothes and then followed Fang Zheng out of the apartment, heading to the nearby shopping street.

There’s a very peaceful and harmonious feeling in this world; walking down the street, there are no signs of crime, nor do any strange sights catch the eye. Everyone is very friendly, and the atmosphere is likewise harmonious. However, for some reason, Fang Zheng could vaguely sense a subtle, unusual feeling from it all.

This feeling is hard to describe; how should I say it... if this world were likened to a healthy body, then it seems like some unknown virus is lurking within it.

However, as a ”doctor,” if Fang Zheng wants to investigate whether this body has any hidden illnesses, then he must conduct an investigation, draw blood for testing, and perform various examinations.

So now......

”Here we are.”

Fang Zheng stopped in his tracks, looking at the dessert shop in front of him named ”Midoriya.”

”Illya, Little Hei, how about we go have some cake?”

”Sure, sure.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s suggestion, both of them nodded happily, so Fang Zheng reached out and pushed open the door.

”Ding-a-ling.”

Accompanied by the crisp sound of a bell, the three of them walked into the dessert shop like this.

”Welcome to Midoriya.”

Hearing the sound of the bell, a woman with long brown hair, wearing an apron, smiled and came over from behind the counter. She looked at Illya and Little Hei, then showed a friendly smile.

”Such cute little guests. May I ask what you need?”

Hearing the woman’s inquiry, Illya and Little Hei immediately answered.

”Please give me a pudding........”

”I want a fruit cake.”

”No problem.”

Looking at the two little girls, the woman smiled and nodded, then she looked at Fang Zheng.

”May I ask what this gentleman would like?”

”A cup of coffee.”

”Alright, please wait a moment.”

Soon, the woman brought the food to Fang Zheng and the others’ table, handed over the cake and coffee, then slightly bowed.

”Please enjoy.”

”Thank you.”

Illya politely replied and then took a piece of pudding into her mouth, revealing a blissful expression.

”Mmm... it’s delicious.”

”As long as you like it.”

Seeing the two little ones happily tasting the desserts, the woman also showed a gentle smile and then curiously looked at Fang Zheng.

”May I ask... are you guests here for tourism? From abroad?”

”Although we are indeed from abroad, we are not here for tourism.”

Fang Zheng wasn’t too surprised by this reaction because from their appearance, it was clear that Illya and Little Hei were not Japanese, and both were so beautiful and cute. In fact, just now on the street, many people had noticed them. Of course---among them, many women’s gazes were focused on Fang Zheng.

”We will be living in this city for a while. Let me introduce myself: I’m Fang Zheng, and I will be working at the Private Seishou University Elementary School. These two kids are Illyasphiel von Einzbern and Chloe von Einzbern; starting next semester, they will be studying there as well.”

”Please take care of us.”

”Hello.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s introduction, Illya and Little Hei also obediently bowed to the woman, who showed a somewhat surprised expression.

”Is that so? What a coincidence, my little daughter also goes to school there. Hmm... unfortunately, she’s not here today. But next time, if there’s a chance, I’ll introduce you to her. I think you will become good friends.”

”It would be an honor.”

In response to the woman’s words, Fang Zheng thanked her with a smile again—he certainly knew who the child the woman mentioned was.

In fact, that child was also the reason Fang Zheng chose this place, but unfortunately... she’s not here now.

But that’s okay, there will be a chance sooner or later.

In fact, Fang Zheng had another person he needed to meet.

After eating desserts at Midoriya, Fang Zheng left with Illya and Little Hei to return to their new home. Then Fang Zheng took the desserts they bought from Midoriya to another household next door to their apartment and rang the doorbell.

”Ding dong---”

”Coming...!”

With a voice full of vitality and energy, it didn’t take long for the front door, which was originally tightly closed, to open, and a lively, cute girl with short brown hair tied into two small braids appeared in front of Fang Zheng.

”May I ask who you are...?”

”Hello, my name is Fang Zheng, and I just moved next door today.”

While speaking, Fang Zheng handed over the dessert he was holding.

”So I’m here to greet the neighbors. Pleased to meet you, this is just a small token of appreciation, please take care of us.”

”Oh, you’re too kind.”

The girl looked a bit dazed at Fang Zheng at first, but when she saw the dessert Fang Zheng handed over, she came back to her senses and quickly reached out to take it. Then she lowered her head and bowed deeply.

”My name is Sakura Kinomoto, pleased to meet you.”
