Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1125: Chapter 1124: This Really Is a Killer Situation!!

”Finally---back home!”

Stepping back onto the land of the Heavenly Dao Palace, Black Cat stretched lazily while happily cheering. Beside her, Asuna and Eiriri also breathed a sigh of relief.

”Yeah... I really never thought we would stay in a completely different world for so long...”

Asuna opened her eyes, looked at the sky ahead, and then glanced at the VF behind her... Hmm?

Wait, why is there a VF here?

This is because when Fang Zheng returned this time, he brought two people. One of them was C.C, who was very interested in the outside world. After listening to Fang Zheng introduce the Heavenly Dao Palace, she volunteered to follow along.

The second person was Anya, who performed excellently in the previous battle against the Reapers. However, after eliminating those alien beings and returning to Earth, Fang Zheng once inquired Anya’s thoughts on commendation, yet she expressed her desire to become Fang Zheng’s Knight.

Considering Anya’s impressive performance, Fang Zheng eventually revealed the existence of the Heavenly Dao Palace to her, and Anya herself showed no hesitation, thus Fang Zheng casually brought her back.

”Alright, Natsuse, you go and find a residence for C.C and Anya, and then take care of arranging their living situation in the Heavenly Dao Palace.”

Having been in the Heavenly Dao Palace for such a long time, Fang Zheng naturally has a clear procedure, like whom to bring back and what to do, and Natsuse nodded upon hearing this, then left with C.C and Anya.

”Wait!”

Watching them leaving, Eiriri seemed to suddenly remember something, and she jumped up.

”How long did we stay in that world?”

”Uh...”

Hearing Eiriri’s query, Asuna and Black Cat were both taken aback as they were almost solely focused on enjoying the fun of time travel to a new world previously, and now being asked by Eiriri out of nowhere...

”Probably... has it been half a year?”

”It’s definitely been half a year... I think it’s been a year...”

”Oh no!”

The two muttered to themselves, and their expressions changed drastically.

Just like a group of children who suddenly realized they missed their curfew.

”What do we do? Won’t our families think we’re missing? Will they call the police?!”

”We still have mid-term exams... did I skip a whole semester of classes?”

”Don’t worry.”

Seeing the three of them in a state of panic, Fang Zheng waved his hand.

”Did you forget? The Heavenly Dao Palace and the other worlds are not synchronized. It’s been about three days here in the Heavenly Dao Palace, and as for your world...”

Fang Zheng opened the system and adjusted the time flow.

”Alright, it has currently only been three hours.”

”Phew...”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s answer, all three were relieved simultaneously, but in the next moment, Black Cat’s expression changed again.

”Wait a second, so, we time traveled to another world, saved the civilization of two universes, and now, I still have to go back to take the mid-term exam?!”

”What was the exam scope again?”

Asuna was now also stunned, no one could have seen it coming. Although in their world, those knowledge points were just recently learned, it must be noted the three of them had been adventuring in another world for almost a year!

In that year, their heads were filled with things like Turui Serret Asari Star Alliance Reaper Chinese Federation 11th District and such... Who would still remember what the teacher said to review a year ago!!

This is seriously devastating!!

”I need to go back and study!”

With that said, Asuna hurriedly ran towards the Dimensional Elevator. No joke, if she fails this exam, her mother wouldn’t care how many Reapers Asuna eliminated in outer space or how many universal civilizations she saved. At that point, Asuna would have to face a Final Boss more terrifying than the Reapers!

”Me too!!”

Black Cat and Eiriri no longer exhibited their usual laid-back demeanor, the two of them rushed into the Dimensional Elevator, almost like a group of defeated soldiers fleeing after a battle, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

”Hehe.”

Watching their hurried leaving figures, Fang Zheng chuckled and shook his head. He had to admit, it was actually quite good for Asuna and the others; having a stable daily life in their own world, for them, the adventure in another world is perhaps just a form of escapism, a pastime, a way to kill time, a part-time job. But at least, they still have a familiar home they can return to.

But he himself wasn’t that fortunate. He even wondered if the system might be able to connect to his own world, although... it might not be useful even if it did.

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng sighed. Unfortunately, even if he could connect to his original world now, Fang Zheng couldn’t enjoy his life like Asuna and the others. He is currently the ruler of the Heavenly Dao Palace, which alone has hundreds of thousands of people needing management, not to mention the forces from various worlds that Fang Zheng needs to handle. The number of people he manages even exceeds those in major countries on Earth, so he certainly cannot treat this as a part-time job like Asuna and the others.

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng shook his head, then activated the system, opened the task panel, and soon, the task prompt appeared in front of Fang Zheng.

[Exploration Task Activated (Completed)]

[Mech World: Reverence (you saved the civilization of two universes, and will be revered and worshipped by all)]

[Type Moon World: Respect (your actions are subtly affecting the world)]

[Main World: Friendly (you are a key force against chaos, maintaining order is your duty)]

After completing this task, the system turned out not to be very generous, only enabling the world reputation system besides one buff to increase Fantasy chances.

However, this reputation system isn’t completely useless; at least Fang Zheng can use it to view his degree and influence across various worlds.

In the Black World, Fire Mist World, and Mech World, all are Reverence, which is understandable. After all, in these two worlds, Fang Zheng appeared as a ”Savior,” rescuing countless ”Cursed Child” in the former, creating a new world in the Fire Mist World as ”Ritual Snake,” and helping the civilizations in the Mech World fight against the Reapers, achieving Reverence reputation is not surprising.

However, in the Game and Type Moon worlds, Fang Zheng only garnered Respect, which is also understandable. After all, in these two worlds, Fang Zheng only saved a few people and didn’t become a Savior for all humanity. Although he rescued thousands in the Death Game and won the Holy Grail War in the Type Moon World, within the scope of the entire ”world,” Fang Zheng’s fame is currently limited to only these.

The Friendly ranking in Higurashi World further explains the situation; Hinamizawa is just a small village, even if it were erased from the map, not many domestically would care much, so Fang Zheng’s reputation wouldn’t be very high there.

But it’s surprising that the Main World reputation is also Friendly... only going to show that Fang Zheng hasn’t done enough there.

Could it be that the previous self-protection approach was wrong?

Thinking of this, Fang Zheng casually opened the reputation store, carefully checking it. Much like in games, the system’s reputation store can also be directly purchased using Dimensional Points, but only when achieving the respective world reputation. However...

”Huh?”

However, while viewing the Main World’s reputation store, Fang Zheng suddenly was startled, quickly stood up.

Only to see that at this moment, behind the item bar before Fang Zheng, clearly displayed was an item resembling a strange syringe-like small bottle... If Fang Zheng wasn’t mistaken, it was precisely...

Secret Treasure!

Fang Zheng reached out and tapped on the Secret Treasure, and soon, a line of information appeared before him.

[Order Activation Enhancement Device (120000 Dimensional Points) (Requirement: Respect) (Warning: This item has a certain probability of unknown issues, please use cautiously)]
