Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 821: Chapter 820: The 3rd person is actually...!?

Although he didn’t know exactly what had happened, Fang Zheng mostly guessed that this person was probably the ”protagonist” of this world. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be such a coincidence that as soon as he woke up, this artificial planet would start scanning. So without another word, Fang Zheng took the super soldier and left this abandoned spaceship.

However, what surprised Fang Zheng was that before leaving, the super soldier actually took something that looked like an SD card from the cylinder and inserted it into his helmet... It seemed to be a support AI?

Could this thing be used like this?

Despite his inner doubts, Fang Zheng didn’t ask much. He just quickly left the warship with the super soldier. But during this process, he still heard the conversation between the super soldier and his AI.

”Cortana, what exactly is going on? Who is he?”

”There is no information on the system. He introduced himself as a civilian.”

”The armor he’s wearing looks very...unusual.”

”This is not an exoskeletal battle armor like Thor’s Armor. I heard that some crew members from remote areas deliberately modify their spacesuits into old-fashioned styles to show their characteristics. He might be one of them. After all, this armor looks very much like a product of Earth’s Middle Ages from the outside.”

”......”

Fang Zheng decided to ask Nymph to design a set of battle armor immediately upon returning. Next time, he would definitely not appear in the universe dressed like this!!

At the same time, the tremors of the entire ship were growing stronger, and Fang Zheng and the super soldier also quickened their pace, rushing out of the wreckage at the fastest speed. Then, they quickly saw the huge, pitch-black steel planet in front of them.

”Oh my gosh!”

Looking at the massive steel planet in front of him, Fang Zheng was taken aback. Previously, his attention was entirely focused on the wreckage, so Fang Zheng hadn’t noticed the nearby planet. It wasn’t until this thing started to glow that Fang Zheng discovered it was indeed made entirely of some sort of metal!

Meanwhile, Fang Zheng also saw that at the center of the artificial planet, a circle was emitting an orange-red light, and then a beam was emitted from it, scanning over the shipwreck where Fang Zheng and the others were, like a scanner.

What on earth is that thing?

”Commander, please board the ship immediately. It’s starting up!”

”We’re out, Iona, come pick us up immediately!”

”Yes!”

Quickly, the Annihilation Level appeared swiftly, stopping above Fang Zheng and the others. Then the hatch opened, and a teleportation beam descended, absorbing everyone into the ship.

”Leave here immediately!”

Fang Zheng hadn’t recovered from the teleportation yet, but immediately gave the order. Although he didn’t know what this thing was, Fang Zheng was sure that any civilization capable of building its own planet was not to be trifled with. His task was completed, and now the safest strategy was to flee!

”Understood...”

At this moment, Iona also became unusually serious, with halos appearing around her, spinning rapidly.

”Micro Jump Engine, start... preparing to leave.”

As Iona spoke, the Annihilation Level abruptly increased its speed. However, even so, it seemed as if something was holding it tightly. After advancing a short distance, it suddenly began to slow down. At the same time, the debris and fragments around it were drawn towards the glowing ring, as if attracted by something.

”We’ve been trapped by a gravity well. Micro Jump Engine failed... Unable to break free, we are going to crash, Commander.”

”Full power on the Klein Field! Overload the shields!”

Fang Zheng grabbed the chair in front of him, quickly giving orders, and Iona nodded in response.

”Understood, Klein Field fully activated, all shields overloaded.”

In an instant, a bright shield glow enveloped the exterior of the Annihilation Level, but even so, it was still being pulled by the invisible gravity, spiraling downward like a stone into the shining ring.

The next moment, Fang Zheng could only see everything in front of him becoming incredibly fast. The Annihilation Level warship was swept into the halo, only to be thrown out heavily, spinning rapidly in the sky. The view made it feel as though they were caught in a tornado.

Despite this, Iona’s voice continued to count unfalteringly.

”Five seconds to impact, four, three, two, one...”

”Boom!!”

Before Iona finished speaking, a violent impact suddenly came, making Fang Zheng feel like he was jumping on a trampoline in a children’s playground, then falling heavily to the ground. Fortunately, his quick reflexes allowed him to grab Nymph beside him, then the Power of Time suddenly burst out, enveloping the entire command room. At the moment of impact, their movements slowed dramatically, and the rapid flow of time around them was relieved, allowing them to land smoothly.

”Phew...”

Fang Zheng wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and looked to the side.

”Hey, super soldier, you alright?”

”...I’m fine.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s inquiry, the super soldier nodded and slowly got up.

”Where are we?”

”I don’t know either... Iona, how’s the situation on your end?”

”The armor is damaged, but fortunately not structurally...it will take some time to repair.”

Meanwhile, Fang Zheng watched as the super soldier pulled the SD card from the back of his head, holding it. Soon, the mini AI from before emerged.

”Check coordinates, Cortana.”

”Understood, I am...”

However, before the AI finished speaking, its image suddenly began to shake violently, and its voice turned mechanical and echoed.

”...we demand you give up family, give up childhood, give up future...”

”Cortana?”

Evidently, the super soldier was quite surprised by this, watching the AI in his hand, which wobbled twice before stabilizing again.

”What happened to you?”

”Sorry... it’s due to the impact, I’m fine...”

”What? Is the AI damaged?”

Fang Zheng came over curiously, examining the AI in the super soldier’s hand.

”How about I let my Little Angel take a look? Her information-handling skills are the best in the world, fixing your AI shouldn’t be a problem.”

”No, that’s not necessary...”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s proposal, the AI seemed a bit anxious.

”I’m a military encrypted AI, and cannot be decrypted by unauthorized civilians...”

”Alright, I was just making a suggestion.”

Since the other party refused, Fang Zheng didn’t push further and shrugged.

”So, what should we do next?”

”What’s the current situation with this ship?”

”...It will probably take some time to repair... hmm? What’s wrong, Iona?”

Fang Zheng was speaking when Iona suddenly tugged at his sleeve, prompting him to look at her in curiosity.

”We can’t leave this planet right now, Commander, because we’re trapped by the gravity well. The Jump Engine can only be used in space, so unless we break free from the planet’s gravitational well, we can’t escape.”

”Alright...”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng sighed helplessly. It seemed that their mission was clear now... hmm?

”Bang, bang...”

At this moment, Fang Zheng suddenly heard constant thumping sounds coming from the ventilation duct above, and the super soldier beside him quickly picked up his gun, warily observing the surroundings.

Just then...

”Bang!”

Suddenly, the grid of the ventilation duct fell off, and Fang Zheng saw a figure leap out, pouncing into his arms!

”Whoa... why is it you, little guy?”

Fang Zheng was startled by the sudden attack, but when he regained his composure, he realized it wasn’t anyone else, but his pet Little Fire Dragon!

How did she end up here?

Wait... could it be that the third person the system recognized was her!
