Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1051: Chapter 637: Finale of the Championship

As a Pokémon with a special shield type.

Goodra, fascinatingly, doesn’t have Mirror Reflection but can learn Double Payback.

Therefore, to avoid something like—’Goodra held on in Alice’s call, Goodra used Double Payback, and Aggron fell’ from happening, Baimu decisively gave up on Dragon Dive.

He and Mega Aggron decided to choose special attack techniques, even if Dragon Dive was likely to take down Goodra in one hit.

After all, bond is an essential flavor in the animation.

The choice, in hindsight, was very correct.

Without using physical attack techniques, Goodra had no means to counterattack and could only take damage passively, being defeated by Dragon’s Pulse and Power of the Earth.

Alice’s flexible use of Goodra’s tentacles to treat Power Whip as Vine Whip was a very creative idea.

But that’s all there was to it.

”Contestant Alice has two Pokémon remaining, while Contestant Baimu has not lost a single Pokémon. Can she use this as a basis for a grand comeback? Let’s wait and see!”

The commentator’s voice echoed throughout the venue.

Cheers and shouts from the audience filled the air, with countless people casting fervent glances, eager to rush in and replace one of the opponents in battle.

Inside the stadium.

Drizzling rain soaked the battered ground, forming patches of mud.

The light appeared dim due to the presence of dark clouds.

As if it mirrored Alice’s current dire situation.

No clear sky in sight when looking up.

”Thank you, Goodra, for your effort.”

She withdrew the fainted Goodra into its ball, a slight movement in her throat.

Even though she was mentally prepared before the fight, the overwhelming strength of Mega Aggron still left her in awe.

”Whew...”

It was so difficult.

Alice even thought of Shaka and Hilona; her past battles with these two were just as tough, consistently overpowered without any hope of victory...

But so what?

Giving up was never in her nature!

”It’s up to you now!”

Alice didn’t hesitate and forcefully threw the Pokéball forward.

Bam!

A flash of white light.

Garchomp, the first to appear, emerged some distance away from Mega Aggron.

”Garchomp!”

Having rested inside the Pokéball for a while, its condition had clearly improved; not only was its breath much more steady, but it also stood firm without wobbling.

Yet natural recovery was still no match for traits like Regeneration; thus, the recovery was not perfect.

But it retained enough strength for one more battle—

It was enough!

Alice’s heart quivered, golden light gleamed from her clenched fist, she shouted, ”Let them see our power! Garchomp! Meteor Shower!!”

”Garchomp!!”

Garchomp roared, leaping high like a great bird stirring water, dispersing the falling rain with its strong gust.

Its mouth full of sharp teeth opened, Dragon Attribute energy rapidly gathered, a ball of deep violet light burst forth and exploded.

Boom!

In an instant.

Deep violet energy missiles flew around it like a celestial maiden scattering flowers, emanating an extremely terrifying glow and heat, then, with an astonishing momentum, all surged towards Mega Aggron.

A foul wind howled!

Garchomp, akin to a supersonic fighter jet dancing with numerous missiles!

”Jump up!”

Baimu commanded.

Objectively affected by attribute compatibility, Meteor Shower’s power should not surpass Goodra’s Rainy Day Muddy Stream.

Yet in animation, when Trainer and Pokémon use techniques with absolute faith, the power inexplicably escalates to an incredibly scary level.

Ash Ketchum had repeatedly mastered this force to wield various moves with inherently weak power to perfection.

This was one of the unpredictable factors in animation battles.

”Roar!”

Mega Aggron slammed its massive tail into the ground and leapt to greater heights with unimaginable bouncing power!

Whoosh!

The fireworks-like Meteor Shower and Garchomp suddenly swept past where it was a moment ago.

Alice wouldn’t give up, shouting, ”Follow it!”

”Garchomp!”

Garchomp responded loudly, its wing-like fins slightly turned to one side, making a 180-degree turn along the edge of the field; the Meteor Shower didn’t dissipate but instead continued chasing Mega Aggron along with it!

Baimu remained unfazed, shouting, ”Afraid you’re not coming! Heavyweight Charge!”

The power of faith is, after all, a form of bond between humans and Pokémon; in this Super Evolution, the connection between him and Mega Aggron meant they could never lose to Alice!

”Roar!”

Mega Aggron, having leapt to its limit, crossed its arms, silver rings of light swirling around it!

The next moment.

It swiftly spread its arms wide.

Buzz!

Silver light burst brilliantly.

Mega Aggron, like a dazzling comet descending from the sky, met the charging Garchomp with unmatched momentum!

Only to see the silver rings intersect with the Meteor Shower.

Thud!

It was like the vibrato of a giant bell.

Immediately, the silver and violet lights intertwined, transforming into a ferociously reverberating, frightening explosion sound.

A visible milky white shockwave carrying dust, rainwater, and grass fragments swiftly spread across the entire venue, surging skyward, forming a huge mushroom cloud visible from outside the stadium.

The strong flashes within the venue caused countless spectators to instinctively close their eyes, and the commentator’s shout was drowned out by the explosion’s roar.

A moment later.

The light gradually dimmed.

The persistent large cloud of smoke shrouded the field.

The intense dust continued to tumble in the air, even the rain-laden dark clouds were covered by it, making the originally bright arena somewhat dim.

The audience’s defense devices blocked all drifting thick smoke, and amidst the commotion, a large number of spectators stood up to look down, eager to glimpse the situation in the stadium immediately.
