Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1061: Chapter 641: Growth Period

”How dare he! How dare he!”

Olivia suddenly smashed the water cup on the table to the ground, her willow brows furrowing in anger, ”Refusing President Luozi’s invitation!”

Though she had recommended Baimu, since President Luozi had reviewed the materials and agreed to this, it meant he was optimistic about Baimu.

Thus, she had extended the invitation to Baimu on behalf of President Luozi—

The other party dared to refuse!

Olivia didn’t care about being rudely hung up on the phone, she was only infuriated by the rejection of President Luozi’s kind gesture.

After a while.

Her mood gradually calmed down, returning to her original cold and aloof demeanor, calling for cleaners to clean up the glass shards and water on the ground.

”Ore Alliance...”

Olivia furrowed her brows, reading relevant materials on the tablet.

She was quite familiar with this region.

After all, Ore has been quite topical recently, along with special circumstances occurring within, leading numerous business giants from various regions to offer sponsorship.

The Marokomon Group, as a colossal entity spanning the Galar Region, naturally did not stand by, with its subsidiaries preparing technical and material support, expected to be delivered to the Ore Region soon.

But Olivia also knew that the Ore Region is essentially geographically remote, with little external commercial exchange, and lagging in environment, economy, and other areas.

Not to mention the current Galar, even before President Luozi’s rise, it was stronger than Ore.

Even with external help, wanting to rise suddenly is very difficult.

Moreover, how much can commercial sponsorship really support?

Regional development is like a bottomless pit!

If it wasn’t for President Luozi envisioning Gigantification as a selling point, the Galar Region would not have today’s glory, but would only continue to decline like Spikemuth Town.

Becoming the strongest champion in such a place... what difference does it make?

She pondered for a few seconds before calling the person in charge of the Ore Region’s sponsorship project.

”Raise the level of support for the Ore Region one more notch.”

’Miss Olivia, this—’

”Do as I say, then inform the people over in the Ore Region that we only have one requirement. Leave our Marokomon Group’s logo on the Champion’s Cloak of the Ore Region Champion. If that’s not possible, then buy all the sponsorship ads for the championship!”

’Understood.’

The phone hung up.

Olivia’s demeanor became peaceful once again.

She certainly wouldn’t deliberately target Baimu, pursuing President Luozi’s goals as her dream, how could she waste time and resources on unnecessary matters.

The immediate priorities are the Pokémon World Championship and the collection and research of Galar Particles.

At most, just irk him a bit like this.

This serves as a minor retaliation for his refusal of the President’s invitation.

Although it does have a hint of a psychological win, the Marokomon Group, covering most industries in the Galar Region, certainly doesn’t lack funds.

Olivia’s approach also increases the world visibility of the Marokomon Group.

Overall, it’s a win-win situation—

She wins twice!

Feeling much happier, Olivia suddenly stood up, ready to report back to Luozi about Baimu’s rejection of the invitation and the increased support for the Ore Region.

Although she may dislike Baimu, as for the President...

Upon arriving at the CEO’s office to report.

As she expected.

Luozi highly rated Baimu, smiling and praising, ”Yes, striving hard for his hometown, what an outstanding young man, just a pity the collaboration can’t deepen.”

”Olivia, your decisions are also very correct, the Galar Region indeed needs more allies on the global stage, which will enhance our influence.”

As a man who loves the Galar Region and has devoted almost his entire life to it, Luozi vaguely saw shadows of himself challenging the Alliance in Baimu.

Just a pity that back then he only got runner-up, while this kid won the championship.

The future is limitless.

The Ore Region must indeed be engaged; for the Galar Region to develop peacefully, more ”friends” must be added.

Luozi, with keen insight, sees great investment potential in the Ore Region.

Upon hearing Olivia’s request, he couldn’t help but chuckle, ”Hahaha, seems like Olivia is quite upset about Baimu-kun refusing the invitation.”

”I’m sorry, President.”

Olivia bowed in apology.

Luozi waved his hand, smiling, ”No, no, no, I’m not blaming you. The Marokomon Group’s numerous affairs have been handled by you these days, you’ve worked hard.”

”But young people are often proud, we adults should be more tolerant. If they really don’t agree to the pattern on the cloak, don’t make it too difficult for them. Besides, it’s the first time for the Ore Region to hold the championship, they surely want it a bit ’pure’.”

Olivia nodded silently.

He sighed and said, ”Seeing him and the Ore Region reminds me of the past Galar, really...”

Longing?

Luozi does not long for the past Galar; everything he has done is to make the Galar Region prosperous.

He absolutely doesn’t allow the Galar Region to return to its original state.

—

The announced preparations for the Ore Region’s championship successfully reached trending.

And were exposed under worldwide scrutiny.

Unlike Kukui, who is also attempting to host a Pokémon Alliance Championship, yet still in the quiet preparation stage, Shanren wants to openly declare it to the world.

He understands the importance of the first championship.

The development of the Ore Region will certainly not be an overnight success; whether in environment, economy, or people’s thinking, all need time to gradually transform.
