Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1050: Chapter 636: Tainted by Proximity

He doesn’t have even a single Grass-type Pokémon.

The referee raised the flag.

”Go!”

He threw the Pokeball and looked across, and sure enough, Alice had a determined expression, as if she had mentally prepared herself.

Bang! Bang!

The Pokeball opened.

”Roar~”

Lairon landed, its silver armor gleaming brightly in the sunlight.

In the distant grass,

Goodra, covered in a slimy light green substance, let out a joyful cry. It loved lush natural environments, and it would be even better if it rained.

Baimu was silent; in the simulation by Porygon II, this Pokémon often appeared.

However.

The simulation was only for reference; he wasn’t foolish enough to think the match would follow the simulation’s direction.

If that were the case, he might as well call the simulation a script.

After the referee confirmed there were no errors, he waved the flag to signal the start of the match.

”Come on, reveal this card directly!”

He reached for the Key Stone placed at his collar, and in the midst of the audience’s cries of amazement, a brilliant light rapidly enveloped Lairon.

The commentator shouted, ”Lairon is undergoing Super Evolution! After Mawile, Baimu now has another Pokémon with the power of Super Evolution!”

Two fierce warriors Super evolved!

This was almost unheard of in the Battle Arena. For many trainers, having one Super Evolution was enough for a lifetime of research.

No one expected Baimu’s team to have two Pokémon that could evolve.

People were chattering.

Liuqia was extremely excited, the ballflowers in her hands were shaking nonstop.

She had already witnessed Lairon’s strength; it was a monster-level Defense Power that could completely withstand Mega Swampert’s Rainfall heavy punches!

”Roar——”

With a thunderous roar,

Lairon’s appearance changed in the colorful light.

In an instant,

it had transformed from a heavy tank into an indestructible Silver Fortress!

Whether it was the thick silver armor covering its entire body or the multiple steel rings locking the massive tail, anyone could instantly feel the power of steel!

The colorful genetic pattern flashed by, and the explosive energy turned into air waves that blew grass debris in all directions.

”Roar——”

Baimu pressed the Key Stone.

Unlike those trainers who preferred to spar for one or two rounds before activating Super Evolution, he preferred to start directly without much talk or entanglement.

To avoid being caught off guard by an opponent.

If anyone ever battles him and tries to spar for a few moves before a Super Evolution, he certainly won’t show any courtesy and will try to knock out the opponent’s Pokémon during the probing phase!

On the opposite side.

Alice was a bit surprised; she thought Baimu would reserve the power of Super Evolution for Mawile and was ready for that.

No one expected it to be Lairon!

But having already witnessed Super Evolution in Meteor Village, she wouldn’t underestimate the opponent; the presence of Lairon itself made her wary, and with Super Evolution...

”Be careful, Goodra! Don’t be misled by its heavy appearance!”

She shouted loudly, ”Rain Seeking!”

”Roar~”

Goodra raised its head and howled, the sky above quickly churned into massive gray-white rain clouds, covering the afternoon sun.

Rainfall descended.

At the same time, Mega Aggron began to slowly walk towards Goodra.

That’s right.

It neither charged nor prepared any attack; it simply strolled leisurely forward.

Its exaggerated weight caused a slight tremor in the ground with each step, while raindrops falling onto the grass flew up and down again.

Alice paused, not entirely understanding Baimu’s intention.

”Muddy Stream!”

Regardless of the intention, better to attack first!

Goodra cried out, its plump body rising and hovering, beneath it was violently churning turbid mud!

”Roar!”

Boom!

It suddenly sank down, sending the muddy waters surging in all directions, forming a swirling circular tide!

The slowly advancing Mega Aggron had nowhere to dodge and was hit head-on by Goodra’s Muddy Stream, instantly engulfing its body.

The commentator shouted, ”Muddy Stream hit! Aggron voluntarily walked into the Muddy Stream! Is this some sort of tactic by Contestant Baimu?”

Just as the words fell.

A scene that caused countless spectators to cry out in amazement unfolded.

In the Muddy Stream, Mega Aggron continued forward, seemingly unaffected by the turbulent mud tides, while its body surface emitted a silvery brilliance.

This glow brightened with every step it took closer to Goodra.

Suddenly Alice’s sixth sense kicked in, and she shouted, ”Goodra, use all your strength! Don’t let it get close to you!”

She had an ominous feeling.

As the two were only five meters apart, the silver light completely enveloped Mega Aggron, resembling a dazzling star.

High-energy waves, enough to make the air tremble in fear, emanated from it.

”Wooh...”

Goodra was frightened, involuntarily stepping back a bit.

The next instant.

Silver light exploded!

Boom!

As if a stun grenade had hit the target.

The entire battle arena trembled violently as if about to sink, and the muddy stream was instantly evaporated by the sparkling silver light. Dense smoke mixed with long and short weeds charged toward the surroundings along with countless soil!

The shock wave oscillated, pressing down more than half of the field’s grass; those closer having their roots exposed!

”Goodra!”

Alice couldn’t help but shout.

She hadn’t expected Baimu to present such a gift at the start of the match!

The commentator also couldn’t help but shout: ”Muddy Stream’s power is insufficient! Goodra is engulfed by the shining silver light! Aggron’s Metal Explosion is incredibly terrifying!”

Countless spectators agreed.

The effect displayed by the technique not only increased Muddy Stream’s damage but also seemed tenfold stronger in terms of destructive force, making many believe it.

Inside the arena.

The hazy dust scattered as the rain tirelessly poured down.

A massive shallow crater revealed Goodra covered in smoke, with energy burn marks on multiple parts of its body.

It gasped heavily, stamina severely depleted.

”Wooh...”

Thankfully, the rain soothed it greatly as it fell upon its body.

Not far from it, Mega Aggron’s silver-white armor remained brilliantly bright, as if unaffected by Muddy Stream’s impact.

Alice sensed trouble, shouting, ”Power Whip! Catch Aggron’s arm!”

”Wooh!”

Goodra responded, bending its head as two antennae shot like lightning toward Mega Aggron, grabbing its arms and locking its joints.

Green light enveloped its antennae.

Alice was about to instruct Goodra to absorb energy to regain stamina when Mega Aggron opened its abyss-like black maw.

Burning Dragon Flame burst forth!

”Roar!”

Accompanied by its roar, the Energy Flying Dragon rushed directly at Goodra. Tied to Mega Aggron, the latter had no chance to dodge and endured the blow head-on!

Bang!

Rolling smoke!

Goodra let out a wail, ”Wooh—”

But as a top-tier Special Defense entity, it didn’t fall just yet.

Mega Aggron’s attack had yet to cease.

Sensing the softening antennae around its arms, Mega Aggron unhesitatingly lifted its giant tail and hammered the ground.

Thud!

A crack spread from beneath it to beneath Goodra, with terrifying energy surging wildly from the fractured earth!

Boom!

Orange light, akin to a volcanic eruption, engulfed Goodra entirely.

”Endure! Hold on, Goodra!”

Alice shouted with all her might.

Sadly, as the boiling Ground Attribute Energy turned to dust and scattered under the rain’s influence, Goodra ultimately couldn’t endure.

Its antennae loosened Mega Aggron’s arms and fell heavily to the ground.

”Roar—”

Mega Aggron growled, like a giant construction vehicle with an engine roar advancing.

The referee blew the whistle.

Beep!

”Goodra has lost the ability to battle! Aggron wins!”

Less than five minutes into the opening, the first Pokémon of the lower half lost its ability to battle!

The commentator shouted at the top of his lungs: ”Secured effortlessly! Mega Aggron is unbeatable, overcoming Goodra with the absolute stance of a champion! I feel as if I’ve arrived at the Peak of Hoenn Champion Alliance!”

Whoa!

Countless fans went wild, cheering for Aggron, and many immediately turned to vendors, asking to purchase Mega Aggron’s commemorative badges and merchandise.

At this moment.

Baimu’s trump card showcased its brilliance under everyone’s gaze!

However...

’See, I told you Power of the Earth was enough!’

Facing Mega Aggron’s sideways squint and mischievous expression, Baimu kept his eyes on his nose and nose on his heart.

Just pretending not to notice.

He was fully aware that Power of the Earth’s performance was stronger and more dazzling, while Cannon Light Cannon had great power but was less impressive in execution.

Has this fellow been learning bad habits from Hydreigon lately?

Hmph.

Corners darken by ink!
