Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1057: Chapter 639: Luozi’s Invitation (Part 3)

”Understood.”

Olivia bows slightly, then straightens up and steps back, ”Please allow me to take my leave, President.”

Luozi says, ”Don’t overdo it, Olivia. Some things aren’t that urgent.”

The office door closes.

The elegant middle-aged man walks to the floor-to-ceiling window behind him, gazing at the distant Palace Gate Arena blossoming like a flower, smiling.

Gigantification...

This is the lifeline of the Galar Region.

He will never allow this land to return to the past!

——

Outside a café in Ever Grande City.

Baimu, wearing a hat and glasses, sits at the small round table and glances at his watch.

Meanwhile.

A few hurried young people run from the end of the street, quickly passing by him without a glance, nervously scattering around.

He sighs, stands up to follow them, and grabs one of the guys with yellow hair by the shoulder.

”Hey!”

The guy quickly turns his head, freezes for a moment upon seeing him, and shouts with a sour face, ”Who the hell are you? Stop bothering me!”

The other youths hear this and look over one after another.

Baimu’s expression suddenly darkens, his grip shifting from the shoulder to the hair, yanking it backward!

”Who the hell do you think you are? Is this how you learned in literacy class?”

As soon as these words are spoken.

The youths originally about to surround him pause in their tracks, one handsome guy shouts joyfully, ”Baimu!”

The others rub their eyes and join in with great delight, shouting, ”Baimu!”

With this bunch of idiots yelling, the people around all start looking over.

Baimu covers his face, pulling the yellow-haired guy—none other than the long-lost Otsuka—to a less crowded area. Otsuka doesn’t cry out in pain, only looking as if he’s about to die.

This amuses Cheng Hong and the others who have successfully identified them.

After they leave.

The surrounding crowd finally realizes, but alas, the people have already vanished.

Inside the park.

Baimu releases Otsuka’s hair and says in exasperation, ”You idiot, you haven’t changed a bit! All those books you read were for nothing! Still so hot-tempered outside?”

”I was wrong...”

Otsuka honestly admits his mistake, lowering his head with his hands clasped together in front.

He truly couldn’t recognize Baimu’s appearance; the latter had changed somewhat after being away for so long, wearing glasses and a hat.

”Stop looking all pitiful.”

Baimu looks at the others, ”How many people has this guy bullied while I was away? Be honest.”

A reunion is supposed to be a very happy event.

Who would have thought Otsuka was so unreliable.

Cheng Hong and the others don’t dare to lie, repeatedly expressing that Otsuka hasn’t bullied anyone. Instead, he and his Pokémon were chosen by Mayor Shanren as planting champions.

Even those he used to bully now have a good relationship with him.

It’s safe to say, Otsuka has long since changed.

”Why don’t I believe it?”

Baimu suspiciously looks at the well-behaved Otsuka.

Planting champion?

Cheng Hong says, ”Otsuka just really wanted to see you. When he got the call, he was the most anxious, almost jumped directly from upstairs... I think he was just excited just now, not wanting to be disturbed by strangers.”

Everyone nods in agreement, ”Yeah, that’s right.”

”Otsuka doesn’t bully people, he often feeds Pokémon.”

”Baimu, you misunderstood him this time. Although his foul mouth earlier deserved a scolding, he truly hasn’t bullied anyone.”

The crowd all speaks at once.

After hearing this, Baimu looks at the silent Otsuka and says, ”Seems like I wrongly accused you, sorry Otsuka.”

”No, uh, it’s fine.”

Otsuka hears this, raises his head and waves his hands wildly.

”Nothing’s fine, ’after three days, one should look at a person in a new light’, I judged you with old eyes, it’s my fault.” Baimu grasps his arm, ”Let’s pretend nothing happened just now...”

Then.

He embraces everyone, shouting, ”Long time no see! Everyone! I missed you all!”

Before meeting them, there was no feeling. After seeing them, memories flooded his heart.

Being hugged, Otsuka and the others, upon hearing this, uncontrollably shed tears and began howling.

”Boss!”

”Captain, I missed you too!”

”Baimu! Everyone on Cyan Iridium Street has been watching you on the news! They’re all waiting for you to come back!”
