Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1082: Chapter 651: In the Name of the Mentor

Hoopa and the others may be playing, but they didn’t forget to bring back the ingredients they’ve gathered.

”Xiaobai! There are so many of the Tree Fruits you love over there! So many! Too many to pick!”

Patting the belly of the Altered-color Gengar like claiming credit, it made a sound reminiscent of a ripe watermelon, while the Dreepy Siblings cheered excitedly, exclaiming constantly, ”Hee-ah hee-ah.”

The Tree Fruits I love?

Baimu heard this and looked over, immediately seeing a face on Gengar filled with both pride and the desire to please while it gleefully lifted its belly up.

Waves rippled.

A series of splashing sounds followed, as countless golden Banana Fragrance Fruits, golden Raspberry Fruits, and golden Phoenix Pear Fruits tumbled to the ground, quickly piling into a small mountain glittering with golden light.

Gazing at the mountain of fruits in disbelief, nearby Hoopa laughed with pride:

”Hee hee hee~ Were you scared?”

”I was scared...”

Wild Pokémon all around quickly retreated, fearing being buried by the potentially collapsing fruit mountain—

Though some were oblivious, such as two Zigzagoons with the Pickup Trait, who were enchanted by the golden color and sweet scent, they excitedly rushed forward only for the pile to suddenly grow higher and collapse at the top.

”Goo-ma!!”

The two cried out in surprise.

Seeing this, Baimu immediately set aside the frying spatula and pulled them out of the fruit mountain.

Fortunately, there was no harm done, these two silly guys only reacted with shock, experiencing temporary dizziness.

He let go.

The two Zigzagoons staggered a few steps upon landing, their swirly eyes reverting back to clarity.

At this moment.

Returning with water, Volcanion saw the towering golden fruits and looked up at the embarrassed, head-scratching Gengar, unable to resist snorting from its nose and calling out:

”You guys, there’s gotta be a limit to how much you fool around!”

”It’s not like you did anything, why are you complaining!”

Baimu glared at it.

Yet as he looked at the golden fruit mountain, he still couldn’t help but feel amazed.

Could there be a vast natural orchard nearby laden with Tree Fruits?

Otherwise, why would there be so many!

Perhaps Hoopa used its Light Wheel to summon them...

He pulled Hydreigon aside to inquire about the details, learning from its expressive gestures and movements that on the other side of the Nibel Plateau, in a valley enveloped by mist, there indeed exists a large Tree Fruit Forest.

As is well-known.

Whatever the prototype of the Tree Fruit—watermelon, pineapple, or melon—they all grow on trees.

Much like how, regardless of appearance, whether it’s a mammal, amphibian, or bird, Pokémon basically reproduce via Pokémon Eggs.

Hydreigon indicated there were many silver fruits there as well, but Hoopa, thinking Baimu only likes gold ones, didn’t pick those.

The less desirable Banana Fragrance Fruits...

Baimu remained silent, looking at the mountain of fruits, feeling a bit overwhelmed, estimating having to spend an entire day to utilize them, and so discussed with Volcanion about taking some away.

”Help yourself!”

Volcanion filled a large water bucket with its tendrils and brusquely headed to higher ground.

As a Mythical Pokémon, its usual diet is quite simple—

Water.

Being categorized as a Steam Pokémon, all of Volcanion’s daily activities rely on water resources, and even injuries can be healed by soaking in hot springs.

Therefore, concerning the Tree Fruits, as long as they don’t cause other Pokémon to go hungry with major issues, it really doesn’t care how much anyone takes away.

Baimu, watching Gengar stuff the golden fruits back into its belly, returned to the pot to continue cooking, thinking there would be an extra gift to bring back to Ore.

According to Shanren’s intel.

Currently, fresh Tree Fruits in Ore are priced very high.

Due to environmental factors, all plants surviving on the lands of Pyrite Town are extraordinarily resilient, with fruit seedlings only one in ten surviving.

As a result, the Rescue Organization plans to artificially cultivate fruit and vegetable seedlings suited to the local ecosystem in places like the northwest Oasis of Ore, then relocate them to arid areas for gradual environmental improvement.

This process, handled entirely by them, would likely take a decade to initiate.

Thus, while at the Valley of Creation a few days ago, Baimu specifically invited the Balza siblings to visit Ore later; since they’d soon depart for further trials regardless.

Wherever, it’s all the same.

The harsh environment of the Ore Region is perfectly suited to refine their skills of harmonizing with nature!

To his delight.

Elder Gullis expressed strong support for this proposal and mentioned that he would make sure to visit Ore himself this year.

Baimu was overjoyed.

In terms of resonating with nature and enhancing plant vitality, Elder Gullis, who once borrowed the Source of Life from Arceus, is undeniably at the level of an academician.

Shanren will definitely be thrilled then.

After a short while.

Enough food for Highland Pokémon to feast for about a week was prepared.

”Phew~”

Baimu wiped the sweat off his forehead, had Blissey and Magearna distribute servings from the bowls while storing the majority in leaf packages within the stone cavern.

Later, Magearna will handle distribution—

One suspects that it likely won’t last a week, as the appetite for the Highland Pokémon is so formidable it gives off the impression they need to fatten up for the approaching winter.

However...

Crunch crunch~

Munch munch~

Baimu watched as the Pokémon sat in a large circle, energetically munching on the food, their faces full of joyous smiles, making him relax as well.

Just as he was about to find an empty spot for himself, Volcanion’s voice came from beside him.

”Thanks for your hard work, human boy. Please also extend my gratitude to your companions.”
