Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1098: Chapter 658: My Dragon Heart

Pokémon battle.

It’s a highly profound discipline.

Though Baimu often wins against opponents by gathering intelligence, exploiting the information gap, and due to his strength, there is no unbeatable strategy, nor are there invincible trainers and Pokémon.

Dragapult versus Flygon, ideally utilizing excellent dual attack and super speed to keep it spinning in circles.

Who would have thought this guy is even more exaggerated than Shelgon, a hexagon warrior!

An all-around stats monster!

Speedy—enhanced by Lightning Flash, sharp reactions; aggressive offense—the combination of Sandstorm and Quicksand Hell encases the sky and earth, Earthquake and Meteor Shower are immensely powerful; exceptional defense—hit twice by Hidden Spirit Strike after Dragon Dance and still able to retaliate in the quickest time.

If it were any other Pokémon, they’d be dazed for a while after getting hit hard on the head, unlike Flygon, which immediately used its tail to wrap around Dragapult.

No chance to escape!

Previously, Baimu always thought he was overestimating Genji’s battle experience and Pokémon prowess—was he exaggerating a bit, thinking if Genji was really that strong, his chances of victory were small.

Yet the result told him, he didn’t overestimate at all, the other genuinely has extraordinary skills.

Dragapult subsequently fell.

Is this reasonable?

He smirked, understanding how stifled those opponents felt at the Ever Grande Conference facing him.

However, Social Dinosaur wasn’t sacrificed in vain.

In the arena.

Genji seemed about to say something when Flygon’s body suddenly stiffened, flames spontaneously combusted all over it, exciting the surrounding Meteor People.

”Burn!”

”Ghost Fire succeeded!”

A golden opportunity!

Baimu quickly withdrew the fainted Dragapult, two frenzied Dreepys immediately flew towards him, stacking on his head with a relieved expression.

Then.

A Pokeball was thrown.

Bam!

”Next up, it’s your turn!”

He shouted loudly.

From the ball emerged Hydreigon, its eyes fierce and blood-red, emblazoned with shocking brightness, dangerous aura swirling around its body.

Won’t leave the field unless Flygon is defeated!

Some older Dragon Tamers seemed to feel its resolve, their brows furrowing seriously.

Wooosh!

The wind roared.

Hydreigon charged forward swiftly, approaching Flygon with incredible speed, Dragon Flames surging and rapidly accumulating in its mouth.

”...”

Genji’s gaze shifted from the smoke-emitting Flygon, saying, ”Sandstorm!”

Dragapult’s attack wasn’t without effect, yet Flygon’s resilient will concealed the damage and drained stamina it suffered.

His battle style minimizes the effective intelligence opponents can observe, confusing their judgments.

Unfortunately, abnormal conditions can’t be hidden.

”La-whoo!”

Flygon endured the burning pain, its wing plates vibrating frantically, slender body transforming into a fleeting shadow rushing skyward, again summoning an overwhelming sandstorm whirlwinds.

Boom!

Once again, the field was engulfed in thick sandstorm darkness, as the advancing Hydreigon was halted by its gust.

”Dragon Breath!”

”Shah-sang!”

It lifted its head, fiercely blasting Dragon Flames up from its mouth!

Bang!

An indigo column of fire suddenly surged upwards; this move, slightly weaker in power, had a faster initiation time compared to Dragon’s Pulse and Meteor Shower, more suitable for the current scenario.

The hot current pierced through the spinning sandy whirlwind, only to realize Flygon, which just flew up, had vanished!

Meanwhile.

Strange chanting echoed from all directions.

Baimu frowned, despite the injuries from Hidden Spirit Strike and ongoing burn status, its response ability didn’t drop at all...

Is Flygon a Pokémon or a robot?

”Shah-sang~”

Hydreigon squinted, its three heads’ noses twitching slightly, yet as the sand rotates, Flygon’s scent is hard to grasp.

A deep sniff yielded nothing but sand.

Chooh! Chooh!

It sneezed twice, expelling sand from its nasal cavity, ignoring the stinging erosion by sand, cautiously observing all around.

The previous battle with Shelgon depleted too much of its Attribute Energy, heaven knows how long this entanglement with Flygon will last.

Hydreigon must ensure not to waste remaining energy.

Suddenly.

A faint white glow amidst the sandstorm caught its attention, quickly followed by an orange-red flame surging!

Vhoom!

It’s the burn trace!

Baimu decisively issued an order upon seeing this.

”Scary Face!”

”Roar!”

Hydreigon lowered its head, growling, black smoke surged transforming into a sinister and twisted visage, ignoring the rumbling sandstorm, flying to where the light shone.

Sandy winds were torn apart by energy, revealing Flygon on the ground from who-knows-when.

Simultaneously enduring the scorching flames and receiving white feathers descending, emerald glow resonating on its body, healing its back and face injuries.

It’s Feather Rest!

Detecting an approaching entity, it immediately turned toward it, suddenly seeing an aggressive and twisted ghost face roaring at it.

Roar!

”La-whoo...”

Flygon was originally a Pokémon with firm will, or it wouldn’t have just taken down Dragapult.

Alas, it is ultimately flesh and blood; the conflict between the burn’s pain and Feather Rest’s comfort tortures its soul repeatedly, making it utterly incapable of resisting the opponent’s offensive.

Panic flickered briefly in its mind.

Pale blue light emerged.

Speed decreased.

Even Genji, usually calm and composed outside the arena, finally showed slight changes in his expression, his aura turning sharp suddenly.
