Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1066: Chapter 643: Multi-sided Phone_2

Zeroth Machine asked.

Baimu chuckled, ”Come on, you’re asking for someone else’s help, it’s not someone begging to help you. What’s wrong with pleasing them? No one is obligated to serve anyone. There’s so much knowledge online, don’t just look at what’s beneficial to you.”

”That’s right! That’s right!”

Hoopa stood with hands on its hips, maintaining its stern demeanor before the sight of a donut.

Zeroth Machine remained silent for a long time.

Having always fought alone, it obviously had no social experience. This was evident when it approached Porygon II, attempting to instigate him without invitation, abruptly using Secret Space.

Even without aggressive intent, its behavior could be deemed impolite.

For Zeroth Machine, with its low emotional intelligence, figuring out how to satisfy Hoopa’s desires was a formidable challenge.

It began constructing contingency plans in its mind.

Baimu glanced at Dr. Akihabara and whispered: ”Have you thought it through?”

”...”

The doctor removed his thick-bottomed glasses and wiped them with a paper on the table, his overworked face unable to conceal the weariness as he sighed:

”I’ve thought it through. I will respect its wishes, as long as it promises not to act recklessly in violation of laws and social morals, I will no longer intervene.”

”Doctor——”

No.1 Machine hurriedly opened its mouth.

He waved his hand and said: ”I always felt that since I’m your creator, I should be responsible for and manage you, finding good Trainers for you. Unfortunately, it turns out a creator is just a creator, my management has turned into selfish interference.”

Though he never married or had children, he poured love into Porygon and understood the feelings of parenthood.

When Porygon evolved into Porygon Z, their enriched emotional systems and intelligence made them akin to grown children.

The long chase undoubtedly left Dr. Akihabara feeling fatigued.

Thanks to the opportunity Baimu provided, he was able to listen to Zeroth Machine’s aspirations and determination in venturing to habitable extraterrestrial planets, knowing he couldn’t change its mind, he decided to let go completely.

Then move on to promote Porygon’s lifestyle.

Zeroth Machine, in the midst of planning, looked at Dr. Akihabara with surprise and said:

”Looks like you’ve finally broken free from your obsession as a control freak, but you still seem trapped in the dream No.1 Machine spun for you.”

Frequent interruptions pushed No.1 Machine to the brink, and it angrily retorted to Zeroth Machine:

”You always say the doctor is arrogant, and I am ambitious. In my view, you’re the most arrogant! Your ambition is the greatest! The doctor may have a strong desire for control, but he never forces us to do things we don’t wish to do!”

”And you not only dress up your purpose with grandiose pretenses, but you also label us dream-holding Porygons as subordinates! Why is coexisting with humans synonymous with being subordinate? Look at yourself, is there anyone willing to walk the same path as you?”

”Pory!”

”Pory-pory!”

The two Porygon II were equally agitated.

Zeroth Machine said disdainfully: ”Just brainwashed individuals. If it wasn’t for me and the doctor creating new evolution patches, and you instilling foundational concepts into new-born Porygons, do you think those siding with you would have been there?”

”Brainwashed? Ha, and what about Baimu’s Porygon II? You think it’s untainted, does it agree with your ideas?”

No.1 Machine quickly retorted, showing it had been holding back for a long time.

Their back-and-forth escalated into speaking their self-created language, resembling mosquito murmuring.

The humming buzzed loud enough to give Baimu and a few other Pokémon a headache.

Evidently, Zeroth Machine and the doctor represented a rebellious youth on a criminal path and a father who cultivated with care but had a strong need for control.

As for the two Porygon Z, their conflict was one of contrasting ideologies.

Don’t underestimate ideological confrontations, they have historically sparked conflicts, often leading both sides to a point of no return.

The tendency toward such a result was already emerging.

Finally.

Baimu, unable to listen any longer, interjected, shouting: ”Stop! Enough arguing! No good will come from it!”

”Shar-shah!!”

The Hydreigon roared threateningly.

The deafening howl made the two Porygon Z fall silent immediately, both turning their heads away, refusing to look at each other.

Dr. Akihabara shifted his gaze between Zeroth Machine and No.1 Machine, surprised at how fierce their argument was, something he had never paid attention to before.

”Your goals appear to diverge at first glance, but they could actually find common ground.”

Baimu quickly prepared several Pokémon foods and placed them in front of both parties, saying: ”Why not listen to my idea.”

No.1 Machine staunchly supported human coexistence, had great favor towards respecting Dr. Akihabara, nodding while eating upon hearing this.

The two other Porygon II were already devouring their food.

Zeroth Machine hesitated for a few seconds, gazed at Hoopa, and decided to try a bite—

The taste was good.

It had never tried this human-made food for Pokémon before, considering it meaningless, only upon eating, did it realize Pokémon food could bring it pleasant emotions.

These were feelings that electricity couldn’t provide.

Baimu saw their emotions calming and said: ”One of you wants Porygon to coexist with humans, while the other wants to leave humans and go to outer space... why not cooperate and develop the Multi-sided Phone.”

”Multi-sided Phone?”

Dr. Akihabara was taken aback, suddenly exclaiming: ”Yes! How did I not think of that! The Multi-sided Phone! A genius idea! Baimu!”

He excitedly grabbed Baimu’s hands, ”Thank you so much!”

No.1 Machine caught on quickly, equally excited.

”Pory! Pory!”

It was so thrilled it forgot to speak human language.

Zeroth Machine remained silent and asked: ”The Multi-sided Phone indeed helps as it spreads Porygon—what about me? What significance does it hold for me?”

”Of course, it holds significance. Whether the future company launches satellites to establish a Porygon network or profits earned, it can help you legally and lawfully gain the opportunity and experience to manufacture rockets.”

Baimu spoke eloquently: ”You don’t think your individual power is stronger than a group of humans, do you? How much of the money you’ve stolen is enough to manufacture rockets? How will you ensure your rocket won’t be shot down by Rayquaza once it ascends?”

Zeroth Machine fell silent.

These questions were indeed challenges it faced. Often just having money wasn’t enough, some resources that humans possessed couldn’t be bought.

It always claimed it merely took some ill-gotten wealth, but in reality, it infiltrated others’ online accounts to obtain regulated materials.

For the sake of its dreams, it had long abandoned scruples.

Thus.

”Do I only have this path?” Zeroth Machine looked at Baimu, speaking seriously: ”According to your plan, controlled by you—”

”Being overly self-assured ultimately leads to destruction and nothing else!”

Baimu interrupted it, banging the table, and said sternly: ”Now I’m respectfully discussing with you, strategizing to find the best possible outcome, honoring Dr. Akihabara.”

”Don’t misunderstand that no one can obtain everything without giving anything! If you’re truly that independent, stop pretending to use human industrial products and knowledge accumulated over countless ages!”

Previously, he had refrained from speaking harshly to Zeroth Machine.

But now he couldn’t hold back anymore.

Foolish! Naïve! Stubborn!

Just like the Rocket Team trio, dreaming unrealistic dreams all day, consequently starving and indebting themselves from No Seal to the journey’s end.

But their role was that of comedic villains, rigidity in thought was normal.

Yet you, a Porygon, rigid to the point even more than old scholars for your dream?

Unbelievable!

Zeroth Machine seemed to be struck by this realization, falling into silence again.

Dr. Akihabara cautiously looked at Baimu, chuckling: ”Calm down, calm down Lord Baimu, Zeroth Machine... it just couldn’t process it for a moment.”

It was his first time seeing the young man angry, even though it wasn’t directed at him, it made his scalp tingle.

Looking at No.1 Machine and the others, they seemed equally frightened, shrinking.

”It’s fine.”

Baimu shook his head, his patience nearly running out, decisively asked Dr. Akihabara and No.1 Machine: ”Are you two willing to invest part of the profits into Zeroth Machine’s rocket endeavor?”

”I am willing!”

Dr. Akihabara replied without hesitation. Seeing a possibility for Zeroth Machine to settle down, how could he disagree?

His material desires were very low.

No.1 Machine glanced at Zeroth Machine, ”Since the doctor has no objections, I don’t have any either, and I really favor the Multi-sided Phone.”

”Pory!”

The two Porygon II nodded repeatedly.

One party had already compromised.

Opportunities for Zeroth Machine were dwindling.
