Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1076: Chapter 648: Keldeo (2)

Even though Keldeo is a Mythical Pokémon with no aggressive intent, it still doesn’t plan to get close.

And thus, a minor episode came to an end.

Before long.

The distant sky began to take on a shade of yellow.

The ground gradually dimmed.

Everyone dispersed and went home for dinner.

Meanwhile, at Balza’s siblings’ home, Baimu met the two’s mother—a lady with a gentle appearance. According to her introduction, their father and grandparents run a company in Aromatherapy City, selling the produce from the Valley of Creation.

After all, it’s simple enough for the people of the Valley of Creation to produce a bunch of farm products.

Dinner.

The feast began without waiting for Elder Gullis to return.

The various dishes were characteristically Mediterranean.

They were virtually the same as the foods Baimu had seen in documentaries in his past life, with dairy, vegetables, and risotto, etc. The only surprising dish was the grilled cod.

”Veluza’s meat, huh...”

He fell silent.

Veluza is a Pokémon primarily living in the Padia region, known for shedding the excess fat on its body.

These Pokémon possess powerful regenerative abilities; after shedding the fat, it can regrow in days if food is abundant.

And the shed fat is rather smooth, light, and delicious.

For people in the Pokémon World, this is no different from eating Chansey’s egg or Miltank’s milk, almost no one thinks they’re eating the corpse of a Pokémon.

Yet he found it somewhat unacceptable.

Until, unable to refuse Balza’s warm invitation, Baimu took a bite and gradually started to enjoy it.

Strange...

But delicious.

He parted ways with the sumptuous dinner with a conflicted heart and went outside to feed the Pokémon. Mei Yali was also feeding her brother’s Pokémon.

”Why don’t you capture one yourself?”

Upon learning Mei Yali didn’t have her own Pokémon, Baimu was quite curious.

Mei Yali shook her head with a smile and said, ”Having Hoopa is enough for me, right, Hoopa—Hoopa?”

Hoopa, who was supposed to be nearby, had vanished.

Baimu turned his head to see that the Altered-color Gengar was also missing, and they found the two companions sharing dinner and moon-gazing on the rooftop after a long search.

Mei Yali showed a helpless expression.

”See, just caring for Hoopa keeps me busy enough, it’s really hard to take care of others.”

Actually, you could capture an Indeedee to help you take care of Hoopa.

He thought silently.

Late into the night.

Elder Gullis finally returned from his medical rounds, reportedly being called to a village twenty kilometers away after healing a Mareep for a family, to cure a Miltank’s anorexia.

Having been busy all day, Baimu didn’t feel right asking about the powers of the Valley of Creation.

Unexpectedly, Elder Gullis sought him out after hearing about it from Balza.

”I imagine you are somewhat aware of the source of our family’s power, so I don’t have a good suggestion for your desire.”

Elder Gullis suddenly removed the Thousand Cosmos Bracelet hanging on his neck and gently said, ”Use this as a bridge; if Arceus wishes, you’ll hear its voice in time.”

”This isn’t appropriate!”

He hurriedly pulled his hand back, unable to accept this unexpected gift.

But Elder Gullis insisted on placing the Thousand Cosmos Bracelet into his palm, lightly patting two times and saying, ”Don’t rush to reject it; this is not a particularly valuable item, everyone in the Valley of Creation possesses it.

”Besides accompanying me for a long time, it doesn’t have any particular specialty.”

Holding the warm Thousand Cosmos Bracelet, Baimu nodded solemnly and said, ”I will certainly cherish it.”

Elder Gullis smiled lightly and softly replied, ”That’s enough. It’s late, rest assured and rest well; since you have the opportunity to come to the Valley of Creation, why not look around and have some fun?”

The elderly man turned and left the room.

Under the not particularly bright light.

The palm-sized Thousand Cosmos Bracelet reflected a golden glow, displaying a marvelous halo.

Baimu felt peaceful inside.

Elder Gullis’ words weren’t difficult to comprehend, the power of the Valley of Creation stems from Arceus, and to obtain it, he must communicate with Arceus.

How to communicate?

With this small Thousand Cosmos Bracelet as a bridge.

Having once borrowed the three Sources of Life from Arceus—water, fire, and earth—Elder Gullis presumably connected with Arceus through the Thousand Cosmos Bracelet.

Closely matching Baimu’s initial expectations.

”Hope it comes true.”

He wore the Thousand Cosmos Bracelet on his chest, full of expectation, a bit nervous, and a tad hesitant.

What if Arceus, deeming him greedy, takes away the simulator?

Surely...

Not?

It doesn’t seem like the Creator God would be so petty.

——

Baimu spent two days as a guest in the Valley of Creation.

Indeed.

This is a beautiful place with clear mountains and vivid water. Despite being flanked by barren high rock mountains, the valley has especially fertile land.

Moreover, water resources aren’t lacking, as waterfalls cascade down the cliffs nearby.

Aggron is very satisfied with this place, eager to replicate some structures on its mountain.

Since learning they’ll return to the Ore Region soon.

The Big Monster’s mind partially lingered on the massive project of building the mountain, frequently discussing related matters with Porygon II.

Since the latter excels in using human technology, its ”smart” attribute is recognized by the entire team.

And soon.

Mawile was second to join the mountain’s transformation.

Well, instead of joining, it would be more accurate to say it made a unilateral request—a house beautiful enough.

It wants to fill it with dolls, teapots, various decorations, and knick-knacks it bought.

Initially, Aggron didn’t agree because it felt Mawile’s desired house surely needed modern modifications.

Hoping the mountain remains pure.

Unfortunately, this idea quickly succumbed to Mawile’s pouting long gaze, and seeing the other almost shedding small pearls, Aggron decisively agreed.

Although Miss Mawile probably put on a show, if by chance she truly cried, resulting consequences are far more troublesome than a modernized house.

Having adopted Mawile’s opinion.

Can it ignore other companions’ opinions?

Altered-color Milotic’s stream, Dragapult and the Dreepy siblings’ lakeside, Hydreigon’s grassland, Blissey’s farmhouse, Steelix’s underground maze...

Except for Altered-color Gengar and Porygon II who didn’t have environmental demands, Galarian Corsola merely requested a hidden pit, everyone had places they wished for.

To this.

Aggron’s view was to find the Trainer and ask for further territory expansion.

There’s no more land to divide!

Each wants a section, leaving less for its own forest?

Oh, there’s plenty left...

That won’t do!

As the Trainer, you must fill in the map plates!

Baimu was powerless, the Ore Region had long moved past the early ”claim land as king” situation, being granted that mountain area initially had been quite absurd.

Dr. Da Mu’s house didn’t have that big of an area either.

The density of their Pokémon is not higher than yours?

Be content!

Baimu advised Aggron not to dream big, the Ore Region is land-abundant with few people presently, but with current trend developments, someday N might bring a bunch of Wild Pokémon over unexpectedly.

In the animation, Wild Pokémon themselves hovered in mixed habitats.

The thought of having a bunch of unfamiliar fellows on its territory led Aggron to embrace its Trainer silently after a pause.

”Roar!”

You’ll surely disagree, right? Aren’t I your favorite ace Pokémon!

Aggron didn’t actually have strong territorial awareness, but it couldn’t tolerate other Wild Pokémon ruining the forest it worked hard to build.

Traveling with Baimu for half a year, it distinctly understood most Wild Pokémon don’t know how to cherish nature.

Grass Attribute Pokémon excluded.

It has favorable impressions of Grass-type Pokémon, which promise a flourishing forest with mild temperaments and nonchalant natures.

”Mild temperament? Nonchalant nature?”

Baimu laughed.

If he hadn’t seen Zarude’s movie version, he might have truly believed.

Nonetheless.

Thinking of Mythical Pokémon reminded him of a fellow he hadn’t kept track of for a while—a promise made long ago—

Volcanion.
