Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1086: Chapter 653: Battle Against Genji

Approaching Meteor Village.

The speeding Hydreigon suddenly slowed down, raising its head and howling to identify itself.

”Sha-sa——”

There are quite a few Dragon-type Pokémon within Meteor Village, and it didn’t want to be mistaken for an outsider and then get hit by a Dragon Breath.

The Trainer is still on its back!

Baimu was just about to talk to it when he suddenly turned his head and looked behind him, only to see a flock of Altaria flapping their wings anxiously as they approached. Upon seeing his face, they first showed confusion and then joyously rushed towards him.

”Chew-roo!”

”Chew-chew-chew!”

”Yo~ it’s been a long time, Meteor Village Vocal Group.”

Baimu smiled brightly and greeted them. Back when he lived here, the Altaria eagerly volunteered to teach Blissey vocal skills, and gradually their relationship became more harmonious.

He even gave these Altaria a nickname—the ”Meteor Village Vocal Group.”

Although the Altaria didn’t understand what a vocal group meant, they somehow found it interesting and actively responded whenever Baimu called them that.

Surrounded and constantly rubbed by cloud-like wings, the Hydreigon couldn’t help but let out a low growl:

”Sha-sa!”

”Chew-roo~”

The startled Altaria dispersed, allowing it to continue flying forward.

Baimu patted the large head in the middle of Hydreigon, which snorted discontentedly, and gently said, ”You dummy! Don’t be so fierce to them—I’ll come and play with you guys when I have time!”

He said this to the vocal group and then looked down.

He saw a lot of people standing on the usual landing spot, all looking up, some joyously waving their hands back and forth.

It was Zheng Fang and others who stayed back at the village.

Baimu also waved in response, his gaze suddenly falling on a skinny old man with a captain’s hat and a white beard, and couldn’t help but be surprised.

Genji!

What is he doing in Meteor Village?

Shouldn’t he be in Ever Grande City preparing for the Champion Alliance at this time?

The Hydreigon flapped its six wings to land, and the puzzled Baimu dismounted, only to see a short elderly man approaching with a smile.

”You brat! You finally decided to come back and have a look!”

The elderly man reached out his hand and patted Baimu’s arm twice with a grin.

Baimu responded with a smile, ”Grandpa Qing Liu!”

This was the first of the Meteor People he met in Meteor Village and who had been a great help to him. His first Super Evolution was under Elder Qing Liu’s guidance.

In other words, Elder Qing Liu was one of the elders he was most familiar with in Meteor Village.

He raised his head to greet other Meteor People, and Zheng Fang and a group of young Dragon Tamers squeezed in, excitedly asking how he felt about winning both the Gorgeous Competition and Champion League.

A few children clutched his pant legs from both sides, chattering away, more boisterous than the Altaria.

”Brother Baimu~ Do you still remember Youzi~”

”Brother Baimu! We want to battle with you!”

Baimu had no choice but to respond to these overly enthusiastic guys one by one.

After quite some time, he was finally able to look towards Genji at the back of the group and greeted him with a touch of respect, ”Very glad to see you again, Heavenly King Genji. Your health is as robust as ever.”

”Hmph! You still love saying polite things as always. But it’s clear you’ve grown a lot and found your own people. Congratulations, Lord Baimu.”

Genji’s expression was stern, and his tone carried an intimidating authority that discouraged excessive familiarity.

But in fact, this person was a very straightforward and amicable elder, not only passionate about teaching and supporting the younger generation but also eager to chat with those he appreciated.

”This is thanks to your help.”

Baimu smiled.

From Zheng Fang’s mouth, he learned that Xijana, after assisting in the eradication of the Flashing Flame Team last time, left on an expedition and has not returned yet.

No chance to meet?

He inevitably felt regretful, unsure when he might come to Meteor Village again.

Dragon Temple.

Baimu met with the Dragon Elder dressed in a simple robe, who was very pleased with his return and held his hand, talking for a long time.

When discussing future plans, he did not hide his intentions and shared his many ideas.

The Elder listened quietly, gently patting his hand, ”It’s a joyful thing for you to have a clear goal. The Legendary Giant Stone, the differently colored Rayquaza, and the Flashing Flame Team... Xijana told me everything. I understand that Meteor Village will not be the end of your journey.

”But when you have free time, come back and visit. Everyone in Meteor Village likes you, and they’ll be happy if you come back.”

”Alright!”

Baimu responded with a nod.

The Dragon Elder smiled kindly, and said, ”Have you checked on your house yet? It was completely finished just last week. I think you will surely like it.”

A house? A house!

He suddenly remembered that before leaving Meteor Village, the elders in the village, to thank him for catching the Rocket Team, had banded together to build a house for him.

Zheng Fang also said he would keep him updated on the progress, but he only sent updates for two days and then stopped.

This led Baimu to forget until now.

The house in Meteor Village.

He felt a subtle sense of anticipation rising in his heart, and just as he was about to find Zheng Fang and others to guide him, he found that this group had already been waiting for quite a while.

”Come! Let’s go see! I guarantee you will be satisfied!”

Everyone gathered around him, walking toward the north of the village.

Before long.

At the end of a smooth cement road, Baimu saw the house that the Meteor People had built for him—

”I...”

He stared dumbfounded at the large two-story villa before him, then turned to look at the smug Zheng Fang and others, and whispered, ”Are you sure you didn’t bring me to the wrong place?”
