Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1090: Chapter 655: The Gap in Experience

Husky versus Volleyball Spirit.

Two dragons, one high and one low, stared at each other from a distance, the fighting spirit surging like an invisible current flickering between them.

Compared to Dragapult, who relies on Invisibility for sneak attacks, a face-to-face hard clash is more fitting for the majesty of Dragon-type Pokémon!

The young Dragon Tamers couldn’t help but get excited at this scene, wanting to cheer but afraid of disturbing either side.

Inside the arena.

Baimu saw Genji with arms crossed, unresponsive, the opportunity to switch the opponent before him was still not attacked, realizing that he was ready to carry out a defensive counterattack strategy to the end.

Too calm, not the least bit chaotic.

Essentially different from those young Trainers who get surprised at every turn.

Is it the will honed from years of sailing experience?

Shelgon’s demeanor was just like it was carved from the same mold as its Trainer.

”Trickery!”

He commanded, fixing his gaze on Shelgon, which showed no specific status, with a plan already forming in his mind.

”Sha zao!”

Hydreigon eyed Shelgon insidiously, a dark mist rising from its body, followed by the orange-red flash symbolizing an increase in ability.

Genji timely said, ”Round up!”

”Tone moke!”

Shelgon retracted its short limbs, a rounded sheen gliding over its surface, making it more like a sphere.

The next moment.

Both parties issued commands simultaneously.

”Meteor Shower!”

”Sacrifice Charge!”

Hydreigon raised its three heads simultaneously, terrible Dragon Attribute Energy gathered in its chest and abdomen, transforming into a bright light visible to the naked eye.

In a flash.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Loud explosions resembling cannonballs wrapped in fire, followed by a somewhat shrill whistle.

Swoosh——

Three ghostly violet spheres shot skyward, then exploded like fireworks, forming ghostly violet Meteor Arrows splitting into front, middle, and back waves streaking across the sky.

As if threatening to annihilate the heavens and earth!

In response to such a scene.

Shelgon rolled in place like spinning tires, the ground subjected to intense friction kicking up dust, unable to cover the dazzling flash emerging from it, resembling a little golden sun.

Thus.

As the strong energy wave caused ripples in the air, the first wave of Meteor Arrows descended like a rain of cannonballs.

Dragon Attribute Energy accumulated to the peak fiercely bombarded the ground!

Bang bang bang bang!

Amid the deafening blasts, countless craters large and small filled the entire field along with the rising smoke, with flying rubble whizzing by, causing the Meteor People to repeatedly retreat.

But what was astonishing was.

That massive golden sphere maneuvered with unwavering momentum through the ravaged field, deftly evading the continuously falling meteor shower.

Either moving in a Z-shape, braking swiftly, or drifting by inertia...

It seemed to shuttle amidst the battlefield like a golden light on the ground, unaffected by the surrounding explosions!

Truly deserving of the [Hard Head] Trait.

Only...

How does it determine the fall points of the Meteor Shower while rolling?

Telepathy?

Or some indescribable tacit understanding?

Baimu glanced at Genji, who hadn’t issued any commands, observing Shelgon evading the first wave of meteor explosions and beginning to dodge the second wave, frowning.

He unexpectedly discovered some intriguing details——

Shelgon wasn’t preemptively avoiding the meteor bombardment, predicting where it would fall and then dodging. Instead, when the Meteor Arrow reached a certain position above its head, it would then maneuver away.

Therefore.

Resulting in thrilling maneuvers such as Z-shaped movement, sharp braking, and drifting.

Is it highly sensitive to Attribute Energy in a specific range, or to this Dragon Attribute ability?

He boldly speculated on Shelgon’s evasion principle, as typical Pokémon using rolling techniques generally move straightforwardly, with fine manipulation necessitating timely Trainer instructions.

Which Pokémon relies entirely on its own evasion capability.

With that thought.

No wonder Heavenly King Genji is determined to employ a defensive counterattack strategy, resolutely avoiding an aggressive approach.

For Pokémon with such keen energy senses, defensive counterattacks might be one of their best core tactics!

However, there’s no flawless tactic, and Shelgon’s sensitivity to energy cannot allow it to evade all incoming techniques forever.

He squinted, seeing the second wave of meteor bombardment nearing its end, quickly commanding, ”Now! Prepare for Dragon Dive!”

”Sha zao!”

Hydreigon roared with all its might, the tips of its three heads glowing with a brilliant azure light.

Surging Dragon Attribute Energy spread across its body like flowing water, or as if blazing flames were fiercely burning!

In an instant, the terrifying killing intent became almost tangible pressure, descending on the battlefield ravaged by the Meteor Shower!

Bang!

The hearts of both the Meteor People and Dragon-type Pokémon seemed struck by a drumstick.

They gazed up at Hydreigon in the sky.

By now, its true form was obscured, appearing as a three-headed Flaming Giant Dragon overlooking the ground indifferently.

The radiant light seemed to overshadow the sunlight, turning the entire sky into an azure hue, making everything around appear particularly dim.

Surrounded by ghostly purple, deep-fallen meteor rings, and the three ferocious dragon-flame heads vividly alive, the massive Dragon Flame Double Wings stirred the air, a muffled thunderous roar echoing like a growl!

What a terrifying stance!

Even Genji, whose will was as iron, unconsciously changed his posture from arms-crossed to hands-in-pockets upon seeing the current Hydreigon.

Inside the field.

Shelgon, suppressed by the momentum and disturbed by the overwhelming energy from above, paused momentarily, inadvertently struck head-on by a rapidly descending meteor, engulfed by exploding flames and smoke with a loud bang.
