Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Chapter 659: Chapter 659: I Don’t Believe It! I Don’t Believe It!

Ignoring the menacing Beastman Army, just look at the expression of this masked man in front of me…

Wearing a mask doesn’t reveal a damn thing!

No matter how one looked at it, the liaison officer felt that any rash action on their part would result in being cleanly wiped out by the man in front.

If they didn’t surrender in time, they would end up like the Deputy General, mercilessly stabbed into a hornet’s nest by swords.

The liaison officer decisively raised his hands to surrender without a hint of hesitation.

Yang Yu didn’t say much, merely took the square box used for communication from the liaison’s hands in front of everyone, then casually walked through the surrendering human troops.

If they surrendered, under the giant dragon’s rules, the giant dragon could ensure their lives were spared.

But if it was a false surrender, intending to attack from behind, whether successful or not, the troops who undertook the deception would ultimately bear the dragon’s wrath, their bodies and souls incinerated by the dragons’ Dragon Breath.

Thus, Yang Yu and General Dongmu led the impressive troops, passing by the surrendered human soldiers, one by one.

Seeing one Luo Ze soldier after another raise their hands in surrender, the weary Ajiket’s troops also halted their attack.

Silver Wolf and beast-eared soldiers approached, and a different kind of reassurance sprang from the depths of Marco’s heart, prompting him to immediately order,

“Make way for the troops, let the reinforcements pass, then assist them in the attack. Let those humans know that we Beastmen are not to be trifled with.”

The order was passed down in succession, Ajiket’s troops moved to the sides as much as possible, and a grand boulevard was thus formed.

The soldiers of Ajiket’s troops didn’t know where the forces aiding them had come from; they only knew that this Beastman Army must be on their side, and they still had hope to survive.

General Dongmu blew a fierce whistle, and numerous elite soldiers leaped onto the backs of the giant Silver Wolves, launching a surprise attack.

“General Chuiye! There’s a problem with the support troops; we can’t make contact with them!

According to the magicians who cast scouting eyes into the sky, they can see that a group of Silver Wolves broke through the defenses of Extermination Force 005, passed through Ajiket’s troops, and are now heading straight for us!”

Ignoring the danger, the curly-haired contactor followed the assaulting Luo Ze soldiers, using Telepathy to inform Chuiye of the anomaly that had occurred with the support troops.

Knight Spears and steel forks crossed several times in mid-air. Seated on horseback, Chuiye took advantage of his superior position, gradually gaining the upper hand.

His opponent from Ajiket was covered in blood but still desperately resisting.

The Suicide Squad, with their many years of combat experience, was not an easy bone to crack.

Chuiye wanted to use the news of his side’s complete victory to utterly crush the National Guardian General, but the news that awaited him was not of the Beastman Army’s defeat but of Beastman reinforcements arriving.

“How is this possible?!”

Pushing away Ajiket’s steel fork with his Knight Spear and letting other Heavy Knights take his place, Chuiye controlled his warhorse to back up several meters, pulled out his binoculars, and looked towards the horizon increasingly shrouded in darkness.

The Ajiket troops, who had just been frantically fleeing, stopped as if on some mysterious command, splitting open a huge gap.

Suddenly, streams of silver giant wolves burst from the fissure, each carrying elite soldiers of Wansheng Country.

Unbelievably, all those Beastman elites were donned in Luo Ze Empire’s armor, and one could just make out specks of red on the armor.

“What on earth is going on?

Where exactly did these Beastman reinforcements come from!

Weren’t Wansheng Country’s troops and those Silver Wolves already split apart by us?

Ha… hahaha… hahahaha…

I understand now; this must be a bluff!”

Chui Ye’s face broke into a smile, but the smile lacked any confidence; it was filled with bewilderment and self-deception,

“Exactly, exactly.

These Silver Wolves and Beastman Soldiers must have accidentally knocked down a weak human force, learned of our plans, knowing their National Guardian General faced an unprecedented predicament…

So they stripped those soldiers of their armor, disregarding their own safety, and stepped forward.

Yes, it must be like that!

This is a negligible suicide attack, they indeed have the Silver Wolves, but… but then…

They must also be facing a crisis in supplies, starving and cold, without much strength!

Our army has set up specialized scouts on the city walls; if forces outside the city walls appear here, we must get a report.

They can only be a part of the Central Forces; these feeble forces can’t possibly be our match!

No threat at all!”

Muttering to himself, Chui Ye kept reassuring himself that everything was perfect.

However, reality gave him a vicious slap.

Behind those giant wolves, the Beastman Soldiers clad in Luo Ze Empire’s armor surged forward like a tide, in numbers beyond imagination.

Were they really the central army group? Why were they wearing Luo Ze Empire’s armor? How many Luo Ze Empire’s forces did they defeat to dress so many in armor!

Chui Ye racked his brains but could not figure out where such a force suddenly sprang from.

“What on earth are the other forces doing, not noticing such a troop moving across the plains?

Why haven’t I received any notification!

This is dereliction of duty! This calls for a military trial!”

While Chui Ye was frantic and at his wit’s end, Ajiket and the other surviving veterans from the Suicide Squad also heard the Beastmen’s whispers.

—”The West Fifth Army reinforcement troops have come to support; leave the rest to us!”

Turning his head slightly, Ajiket caught a glimpse from the corner of his eye, the Silver Wolves had already arrived behind them.

Several robust giant wolves instantly topped the gap in the defense, forcibly driving the attacking Heavy Cavalry back out.

One after another, elite Beastmen leaped into the midst of the Luo Ze Empire’s forces, using fists and feet, starting to cause significant chaos.

Chui Ye knew he could not afford to be stunned any longer, no matter where these Beastman Soldiers came from, if he did not resolve them, all the plans would be ruined.

“Hold fast! We must absolutely hold fast!

As long as we hold on, the rest of Luo Ze’s soldiers will converge and encircle them!

Even if they have a large number… can they outnumber the Luo Ze forces on this plain?

Liaison Officer! Liaison Officer! Quickly contact the other forces, tell them the situation here is urgent, ask them to hasten their advance!”

Before Chui Ye could finish speaking, he saw a Beastman with bear ears waving his arms, forcibly tearing an opening among the charging Heavy Cavalry.

A nimble figure took advantage of the breach, quickly weaving through the surroundings.

Before Chui Ye could see clearly who this figure was, the figure handed a rope to the Bear-man’s hands, the Bear-man pulled with both hands, and the rope instantly became taut.

Underneath Chui Ye’s battle steed, unbeknownst to him, this rope had firmly entangled its four legs, and with a forceful yank from the Bear-man, the Heavy Knight’s steed immediately lost its balance.
