Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Chapter 655: Chapter 655: Testing?

Away from Extermination Force 015, Yang Yu changed into the armor of the Luo Ze Empire, removed his mask, combed his hair upwards, wrapped it with a headscarf, and dabbed some blood from a nearby wounded person onto his face. Then, he finally made contact.

On the other end of the communication device, appeared a liaison officer with thick lips and dense curly hair, his eyebrows raised, clearly showing some impatience since he had been waiting there for a long time.

“I’m sorry for the delay in responding. We are currently engaged in battle with the Beastman Army. What do you need?” Yang Yu responded as usual.

The liaison officer on the other end glanced at Yang Yu, saw his appearance and the blood on his face, and didn’t harbor any suspicion.

“How is the battle progressing?”

“Our side has suppressed the beastmen, but we need a bit more time to completely overpower them.”

Bam, sounds came from the device, and the curly-haired contactor went straight to the point,

“Since there’s no problem, I’ll get straight to the point.

In area 007, we have discovered a large Beastman Army and need your help to encircle and suppress them.

After the battle, please contact troops 009 and 012 to coordinate the operations.”

“Understood!”

“Also, be more cautious about the Beastman Army I mentioned earlier.

Some of the artillery on the walls have lost contact, and it’s unclear what their situation is.

To be able to take back the plains, the Beastman Army located in the Long Boots Region might have already reached this area.

If spotted, avoid direct confrontation; please make contact immediately.”

“Understood.”

After ensuring all the necessary instructions had been communicated, the liaison officer voluntarily hung up the phone.

Stopping from sharpening his claws, Dongmu raised his hand, pinched his chin, and his lips slightly turned up,

“It looks like they haven’t noticed anything suspicious yet.

I guess they didn’t expect us to use that method to cross the wall and come to this region, sharing such critical information with us.

Being able to use this thing and looking so much like a human, you’ve really helped us a lot!”

Though it seemed like ordinary praise, Yang Yu still remained cautious.

“After all, I’ve lived in the Human World for a while, and I also have half human blood.

Also, because of the blood, I’ve been troubled by the Plant Clan’s Woodification Disease, and thanks to the gift from His Majesty, I was able to alleviate the symptoms on my body.”

Yang Yu took off the armor of the Luo Ze Empire, revealing the purple lining inside, and slowly put on his original clothes.

“Recently, the Woodification Disease has hardly flared up.

The cold winter is part of the reason.

I don’t know what it will be like in spring.

If I want to receive His Majesty’s reward again before spring, I need to put in extra effort.”

“Hahaha, when it involves life and death, naturally you need to be more careful. I can understand.”

Dongmu was laughing, but then the smile on his face disappeared,

“However, after doing so much for our state, will you eventually be resented by humans, with no place for you in the Human World?”

Yang Yu was indifferent, “I have no attachments left in the Human World. To treat my disease, I also visited many of the human lands, and I don’t really wish to return.

Once my disease is cured, on the contrary, I can rely on my Half-Plant Clan identity to visit other Sub-human Kingdoms and see sights I have never seen before.

Of course, first I need to help you all achieve victory and alleviate my symptoms as much as possible.”

“It looks like you’ve already made plans, just like that!”

“The boxes and armor that were confiscated are now at your place.

Your place is more convenient. Don’t forget to return them after winter ends for unified processing.”

With that, Dongmu turned towards the distant Beastman Soldiers and started giving orders,

“Brothers, line up and prepare for the next battle.

This is a large-scale rescue.

To corner the main forces of the Beastmen, many people must have gathered there.

It will be a tough fight.”

Meanwhile, in the Dragon God Judgement Country at Panlong Peak,

Yang Yu put away his communication device, let down his hair, put on a mask, and walked into the formation of his troops; all of these were captured within a giant bubble.

In the dim hall, several giant dragons of various forms sat around this large bubble.

Next to each dragon floated countless large and small bubbles, on which the situations of various battlefields in Wansheng Country and Luo Ze Empire were displayed.

“It’s really unexpected that within Wansheng Country, there exist beings just like the humans, making Luo Ze Empire run around in circles.”

The speaker was a slender, vermilion female dragon with four horns, the eldest in the Giant Dragon Council, named Marie.

“Perhaps, he is a human himself.”

A sturdy black dragon lifted its hoof-like claws, pointing forward, and a small bubble appeared near the central bubble.

The small bubble slowly revealed Yang Yu’s evaluation sheet.

The black dragon claw swiped downwards a few times, and immediately, an additional item appeared on Yang Yu’s evaluation sheet.

It read [Race: Mixed Species (Human (main). Plant Clan (essence). Fairy Race (essence). Silver Teeth Clan (essence). Beastman (essence))]

“If he is as he says, a Half-Plant Clan, his race would be a Mixed Species (Human X Plant Clan. Fairy Race…)”

“Indeed,” a pink giant dragon with round wings agreed, “speaking of which, for a human to absorb so many Racial Essences is extremely abnormal.

How did he become so strong? Honestly, I suddenly became interested.”

“Merubie, are you asking what kind of adventures he had?

I thought you were discussing how he managed to absorb so many Racial Essences without any conflicts.”

A somewhat short bronze dragon got a little excited,

“Lord Hei Luo, I am curious about his original main species, maybe…

can we trace his Energy Level records back to the beginning?”

“That’s a bit difficult,” the black dragon struggled, pulling the bubble down several times more, and beneath the race item, a new item was refreshed.

It showed [Energy Level: LV.84].

“See, his current Energy Level is too high; if we try to trace it back based on his current growth, we would probably have to reset all his attributes by more than a dozen Levels.”

“Is that so? Such a shame…”

The bronze dragon hung its head low, disappointed, then suddenly thought of something and hastily spoke, “I have an idea; since his Energy Level is so high, could he have been an adventurer before, and can we compare his Characteristic Magic Power to that in the adventurer’s database?

If he really was an adventurer, we could easily assess his past growth.

Our issued name tags also have the function of recording growth; as long as he doesn’t lose it and carries it on him, when he updates his adventurer Level, we can see every change in his Energy Level.

I remember the name tags’ record of Energy Level changes has a limit of 200, and even for us, it could perfectly record our own growth.

He must have…”
