Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The president also felt strange when he heard Chen Ming’s question.

During the initial dimensional infection, he indeed did not perceive any situations related to spatial abilities or effects.

Let alone the rift closely associated with the Crimson Dimension.

But after hearing Chen Ming’s conjecture, the president suddenly had an idea.

”Back then, when I experienced the first dimensional infection, the target was the eyes.”

”Now, the eyes are also appearing in the rift. Could there be a connection?”

”Is it possible that the star system I exiled to another dimension returned to the Crimson Dimension, and learned some abilities to move between spaces during my banishment process?”

But Chen Ming immediately recounted the situation during his nominal second, but in reality third dimensional infection.

This time, no rift was opened...

No.

Chen Ming said, suddenly realizing something.

The rift existed.

Right there on the mutated heart.

It’s just that the rift’s intensity was insufficient, and the Dimensional Infection Entity lacked enough ”nutrition” to supply, losing the ability to connect to the Crimson Dimension, ultimately forcibly dragging Chen Ming’s consciousness into the Consciousness Space.

And then...

In the Consciousness Space, Chen Ming remembered during the final confrontation with the mutated heart, sensing something coming in the starry sky of his Consciousness Space.

He didn’t know what it was at the time, but now it seems it was absolutely closely tied to the Crimson Dimension.

As early as the first dimensional infection, Chen Ming had already begun contacting the Crimson Dimension.

The rift truly existed.

But this rift also did not directly appear in the normal universe. Even the mutated heart could not directly summon such an existence in the normal universe, but enticed something Chen Ming had never seen through the Consciousness Space.

The normal universe indeed never opened a rift to the Crimson Dimension.

There must be some hidden reason behind this.

As for the president’s statement, it was because the Crimson Dimension was imitating, so the previous rift wasn’t opened. Chen Ming could only express doubt.

Since the rift never opened in the normal universe, the president’s speculation can only remain as speculation.

The president easily accepted and understood Chen Ming’s words, and he agreed with Chen Ming’s thoughts, ”Then I’ll go back to checking some old documents, see if anything was overlooked. I’ll chat with you when I have news.”

The president ended the communication with one sentence.

Chen Ming then closed his eyes and rubbed his forehead.

His head hurt a bit.

Let’s put aside the matters of dimensional infection and Phase Space for now, let other people handle it.

He still has to wait for his Spiritual Power to recover a bit before handling later matters.

His Spiritual Power is still recovering at the moment.

Although the total amount of Spiritual Power has reached a terrifying level, under the boost of the Hive Mind Network, Spiritual Stone, Gathering Spiritual Energy Origin, and Ship Spirit, even with various drugs, the recovery speed is still quite fast.

It looks like in a few hours it can return to its original state, which won’t overly affect Chen Ming’s handling of three lines simultaneously.

However, when handling three lines, priorities must be set.

Two laboratory projects.

Body research task.

And here, the Pioneer Fleet has to deal with the Mechanical Race and counterattack measures.

According to urgency and consequences of failure, dealing with the upcoming attack from the Mechanical Race encountered by the Pioneer Fleet is the most urgent matter.

Therefore, Chen Ming will definitely focus on handling this matter.

He had already arranged for it beforehand.

But he initially took several days to prepare to seize the colonial control from Dusk, arrange the migration of goods, and eventually relied on Chen Ming’s uninterrupted Spiritual Energy to operate for a day before dispatching.

Although the scale hasn’t expanded significantly, no major expansion doesn’t mean no expansion.

Rapidly relocating the outpost is not that easy.

So if he encounters a Mechanical Race attack now, the situation seems a bit dire.

Just like... now.

Chen Ming had only ended his conversation with the president a few minutes ago.

He sensed an unexpected situation at some small outposts left behind by the Pioneer Fleet for resource development in the rear.

Almost all outposts in the vicinity of the triple junction between the Mechanical Race, Dusk, and Empire, even within the range of two jumps outward, encountered a small-scale fleet from the Mechanical Race.

A fleet composed of one Destroyer and four Frigates from the Mechanical Race launched an attack on those outposts of Chen Ming nearly simultaneously.

Such a fleet size is very weak, only serving as cannon fodder on the battlefield.

However, in the small outposts left by Chen Ming, a fleet of this scale is sufficient to completely destroy the outpost.

”They really came quickly.”

Chen Ming frowned.

Although he had already received the news earlier, the fact that they discovered his territory so quickly and prepared for the attack still surprised him.

Chen Ming’s original plan was to...

Forget it, there’s no need to think about the original plan anymore.

The Mechanical Race came so quickly, of course, the plan was completely disrupted, no need to think about it again.

He must change the original plan immediately and take countermeasures.

Fortunately, Chen Ming maintains a high connection with all Dusk cores, even the weakest Gamma Level cores have direct links with Chen Ming.
