Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The design was detailed enough to be directly replicated one-to-one, whether it was the Spiritual Ability Research Institute or the Ship Research Institute, there would definitely be more than a few people wanting to contact him.

Chen Ming didn’t want his phone to be bombarded.

After turning off the terminal.

Chen Ming continued to ponder and asked the Mechanical Queen a question.

It was about the plan to repair the conversion facility.

This time the Mechanical Queen didn’t provide any documents; she gave an answer after asking for the current 3D scan imaging of the conversion facility.

It cannot be repaired.

Because the source of the conversion facility in the Mechanical Race Star Realm close to the Empire is from another Mechanical Race far away.

And over there, the Mechanical Race can only use what they scavenged from the Shimmering Civilization relics as replacements, with no ability to repair them either.

However, the Mechanical Queen,

provided an alternative plan, suggesting that Chen Ming head to the nearest Mechanical Race Star System for a replacement, where another conversion facility exists.

Furthermore, the Mechanical Queen even gave Chen Ming a precise coordinate.

Chen Ming silently stared at the coordinates for a while.

He asked the Mechanical Queen a question.

A few seconds later.

He received a detailed star map of the Mechanical Race and gained precise knowledge of the Mechanical Race fleet’s deployment.

Looking at this star map and deployment chart, Chen Ming sighed again, ”What a pity.”

As soon as the Mechanical Race loses the Mechanical Queen, they will definitely change the overall deployment of the Mechanical Race Star Realm that the Mechanical Queen knows about.

If Chen Ming could have captured the Mechanical Queen at the actual outbreak of war, the war might have ended much earlier.

But as things stand, it’s a real pity...

However, Chen Ming couldn’t have predicted this in advance.

At least now that he has this star map, he knows the coordinates of some important Star Systems of the Mechanical Race, which cannot be relocated.

He can attempt a raid to seize the conversion facility.

But there’s no rush for now, as he still has many other things to do and no time to focus on raiding the Mechanical Race.

Thinking this, Chen Ming suddenly restarted the terminal.

While no one had contacted him yet, he quickly sent the star map and Mechanical Race deployment chart over to Bai Quan.

Bai Quan immediately called back, this time without saying a word, but Chen Ming understood his meaning from his silence.

A simple, powerful question mark.

”Don’t ask, if you must ask, let’s just say I have someone inside the Mechanical Race.”

”By the way, the deployment chart likely became obsolete about an hour ago, and now the Mechanical Race should be changing their deployment.”

”If there’s anything urgent to be done, you can try something during this remaining time.”

Bai Quan really wanted to ask Chen Ming how on earth he got his hands on such critical intel, but he held back and said, ”If there’s no issue, you might want to consider how many military merits you want, I’ll strive to get you two special-class ones.”

Bai Quan ended the communication.

After carefully considering what he could exchange those special merits for, Chen Ming refocused his consciousness back to his own body.

Chen Ming had essentially figured out all the details of what he had acquired.

Up next, four tasks awaited him on this end.

Prepare to raid the Mechanical Race and seize the conversion facility.

Visit the Shimmering Civilization relic discovered by the Mechanical Race, and see what the Mechanical Race’s second exploration involved.

Conduct further research using the zero-number sample produced by the conversion facility.

While at it, see if the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve could yield any interesting findings.

The first two tasks can be put off for now.

Preparing to intrude into the Mechanical Race Star Realm or the Mechanical Race’s cautious information-gathering needs time.

The latter two tasks, however, can begin now and continue uninterrupted.

After understanding the principles of the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve, Chen Ming became quite curious about it.

He’s been wondering if the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve could be implanted into an artificial body.

An Wuping isn’t quite mobile, so a new artificial body needs to be created.

Regarding the artificial body, Chen Ming actually considered transforming the Black Mist Spirit Ability User into his artificial body.

This guy has remained unconscious since Chen Ming saved his life last time.

The reason is simple, his Enlightenment Nerve previously maintained a high consciousness intensity, allowing the body to withstand such intensity.

Now that his Enlightenment Nerve is gone, although the consciousness intensity is gradually declining, it’s still not something the body can support without the Enlightenment Nerve.

Until the consciousness intensity decreases, he will remain in a coma, and this will last about three months.

Honestly, it’s almost like he’s dead.

Once a Psychic has their Enlightenment Nerve extracted, even if they are saved, they become an ordinary person at most.

So Chen Ming intends for the Black Mist Spirit Ability User to play his last role.

This was a carefully considered plan by Chen Ming.

Even though the Black Mist Spirit Ability User was a part of the Zuo Jing faction and is already dead, he can still become an artificial body.

Because Chen Ming knows that Zuo Jing hasn’t been completely eradicated, they’ve only lost part of their exposed power.

Even if the Black Mist Spirit Ability User is discovered, his existence can serve as a reminder to those in the Empire devoted to eradicating Zuo Jing, that Zuo Jing is still there.

Chen Ming just needs to be cautious.

If his relationship with An Wuping is discovered, he’ll just be scolded at most.

But if the relationship with the Black Mist Spirit Ability User is discovered, Chen Ming will get entangled in a lot of headaches.

However, it’s merely a hassle that can be dealt with.

Chen Ming also had another idea, which was to transform the Black Mist Enlightenment Nerve into a Black Mist Core.

Using the leftovers from the transformation process, create a Black Mist Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve to be implanted into the Black Mist Spirit Ability User.

This should be quite intriguing.

He could then apply some of the findings from the mechanical and Insect Race research on the zero-number sample onto him, transforming this Black Mist artificial body into one that encompasses capabilities from multiple fronts, distinct from An Wuping, which integrates the Insect Race and Chaos Origin Power.

At that point, this artificial body could also serve as a special artificial body for Chen Ming while operating in the Mechanical Race Star Realm.

The more Chen Ming thought about it, the more interesting it seemed, so he immediately began preparations.

Meanwhile, his shuttle boat finally arrived at the Ship Research Institute.
