Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The only problem now is that these mechanical architectures cannot be integrated into the Insect Nest, and can only exist as independent structures, not as part of the Insect Nest.

So Chen Ming is eagerly waiting for the Insect Queen to complete its evolution, to transform and connect the architecture into the Insect Nest’s biological raw material transport vessels.

Just in time, Chen Ming has learned some knowledge about the mutual transformation of mechanics and biology from Sample Zero and those converted samples that died directly.

This knowledge can be used later to guide the Insect Queen in quickly transforming mechanical architectures into biological ones.

Chen Ming even feels that he doesn’t necessarily need the Insect Queen to completely transform mechanical architectures into biological ones.

In his view, the fusion of mechanical and biological architecture is the most suitable development direction for the future.

If the Insect Race units have all sorts of issues whether mechanized or semi-mechanized due to production quantity and cost,

then biological architecture, which is inherently smaller in number and serves as a critical structure of the Insect Nest, having some mechanical conveniences is perfectly acceptable.

Of course, this does not mean that Chen Ming has completely abandoned mechanical and biological architecture.

His idea is that he wants mechanical, biological, and fusion architecture all.

Different structures adapt to different environments, and using the right technology in the right place is the appropriate approach.

In addition to the research on semi-mechanical, semi-biological structures,

Chen Ming has also been researching the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve these past two days.

Of course, he is not researching the function of this thing, as the Mechanical Queen had already explained most of it to him.

What he is researching now is the method of manufacturing this thing.

Currently, through the research reports on mechanical spiritual energy creatures revealed by the Mechanical Queen, Chen Ming has understood that the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve is not transformed but directly manufactured.

As long as the internal Spiritual Energy Essence is changed, the capabilities of the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve can also be altered.

Hence, the key to the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve lies in the Spiritual Energy Essence, and the external mechanical nerve can only be considered the foundation of the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve.

Since the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve is not the key, but the foundation, and its technical level is relatively low compared to what has been previously acquired,

Chen Ming feels that with his current abilities, he can try to master the manufacturing technology of Mechanical Enlightenment Nerves.

It’s not like the Mechanical Biological Transformation Device, which involves nanorobots, with an absurdly high technical level.

But when it comes to just the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve, Chen Ming still has the potential to learn it,

however, he can only say he is currently struggling to replicate it.

The complex structure of fusing spiritual energy and mechanical components requires various towing, locking, and even processing methods that Chen Ming is completely unfamiliar with, making it very troublesome.

Luckily, Chen Ming once ventured into the Crimson Dimension and gained a lot of refined spiritual energy manipulation techniques from the knowledge there; otherwise, he would be groping in the dark.

Furthermore, from his understanding of spiritual energy, these techniques are systematically summarized as experiential technology by the Shimmering Civilization, rather than pure talent as it is for Psychics.

That is to say, as long as Chen Ming studies a bit, there’s a significant possibility that he can learn these techniques.

But right now, Chen Ming doesn’t plan to do this.

This forces him to explore, research, and attempt to replicate independently.

Although challenging, if he succeeds, Chen Ming’s mastery and understanding of spiritual energy will experience an enhancement that he can thoroughly digest.

Furthermore, he can acquire batches of Mechanical Enlightenment Nerves.

He can implant these Mechanical Enlightenment Nerves into some of the Insect Race.

The abilities of the Insect Race are inherently varied; if they can also have various complementary spiritual energy effects, or, so to speak, nurture Insect Race compatible with the capabilities of the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve,

then in ground battles or even space boarding combats, the Insect Race could undoubtedly play a more significant role.

The value and significance of this are self-evident.

Additionally, Chen Ming provided Lu Kang with a dozen samples of Mechanical Enlightenment Nerves, allowing them to conduct their research.

Before, they had experience cooperating with Chen Ming in researching the Purgatory Core, Synchronous Accelerator Core, and Catalytic Core.

These personnel were originally top researchers concentrated on the Mechanical Race from various places by the Legion, so they certainly can research the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve.

By that time, their research outcomes could also serve as support for Chen Ming’s research.

However, it seems that the Mechanical Research Institute of the Legion has been constantly, pitifully borrowing Mechanical Enlightenment Nerves from the Extraordinary Research Institute these past few days.

After all, the Legion’s fleet had just finished sweeping through the remnants of the Mechanical Race Star System and was on its way back to base.

This led to the Mechanical Research Institute’s intense envy when they heard that the Extraordinary Research Institute via Chen Ming’s spiritual energy had already obtained Mechanical Enlightenment Nerves in advance.

Even after being rejected by Lu Kang, the head of the Mechanical Research Institute, Wu Hao, whom Chen Ming had met before, personally came to borrow two strands from Chen Ming.

After all, Chen Ming and Wu Hao knew each other beforehand and had no prior conflicts.

Respected senior researchers of the Mechanical Race must be shown respect.

Of course, lending out these two strands of Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve also helped Chen Ming acquire some internal materials from the Mechanical Research Institute, as well as a part of the research funding issued by the Legion.
