Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chen Ming certainly won’t suffer any losses.

Aside from the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve and research related to it, Chen Ming is also working on another matter, which is about the Black Mist Spirit Ability User.

The situation with the Black Mist Spirit Ability Users has already been determined.

They can survive, but not many do.

A psychic can indeed survive after the Enlightenment Nerve is removed, but will fall into a deep coma for about three months.

Essentially, it’s no different from being dead. To make the best use of the remaining usefulness of the Black Mist Spirit Ability User, Chen Ming previously decided he must find a way to convert the Black Mist Spirit Ability User into one of his proxies.

The method is quite simple, using the Insect Race.

Within the units of the Insect Race, there is a kind known as the parasitic Insect Race.

Of course, this parasite is not the type that merely causes some minor ailments but is a powerful Insect Race capable of parasitizing even the Mechanical Race.

When Chen Ming initially assaulted the Mechanical Race’s planet, it played quite a critical role.

And now, under the multi-generational cultivation by the Insect Queen, this parasite has become even more powerful, implanting into the Black Mist Spirit Ability User’s body, gradually assimilating the Black Mist Spirit Ability User into a part of the Insect Race is quite a simple matter.

And the parasites have already been implanted under Chen Ming’s arrangement, the transformation process is already underway.

Once the conversion is complete, the existence of the Black Mist Spirit Ability User will completely disappear, leaving only Chen Ming’s proxy.

However.

Chen Ming is not yet prepared for the things to be done after the conversion is complete.

His plan is, upon completion of the conversion, to make the Black Mist Spirit Ability User into a proxy used for testing the capabilities after the fusion of bio-mechanical spiritual energy.

Now the biological component is available, even if the Insect Queen evolves, Chen Ming can control many of the powers belonging to the Insect Queen.

But the mechanical and spiritual energy components have yet to be secured.

Chen Ming wants to experiment with semi-mechanical structure and the implantation of multiple Mechanical Enlightenment Nerves on the Black Mist Spirit Ability User,

but now he doesn’t quite dare to insert the Black Mist Spirit Ability User into that one-third transformer device.

Not only because the extensive experimental failures with those Insect Race units are warning him.

It’s also because he has indeed used his own proxy, which is just an ordinary human proxy with no Insect Race genes, experimentally placed into the transformer device.

Only could say the result was somewhat inadequate.

All of Chen Ming’s ordinary proxies lack the powerful vitality inherent to Insect Race units.

Meaning, if the transformation process goes wrong, the problem is certainly significant.

Those proxies usually die instantly, with no chance of survival.

Moreover, the device’s transformation process appears quite unique for humans.

It’s not from the body surface and limbs but begins with the internal organs.

And these organs do not include the brain, which seems to be the last organ to transform.

The reason for this assumption is because ordinary proxy experiments all encountered issues at the first step of organ transformation, the proxy doesn’t transform much before dying.

And the brain is the organ that remained intact in all deceased proxies, so Chen Ming guessed this.

Regarding anything else...

Could only say these corpses can’t be researched; even if you cut open the belly, at most you’ll find a mess of blood-soaked metal parts.

Such a transformation process, unlike any other biological counterpart, also left Chen Ming somewhat uncertain.

He can only watch as batches of unidentified biological corpses with his face are sent to the digestion pool daily without any progress.

Therefore, Chen Ming cannot put the Black Mist Spirit Ability User inside for now.

Moreover, aside from converting the Black Mist Spirit Ability User, Chen Ming wants to transform the extracted Enlightenment Nerve into a Black Mist Core along with some Black Mist Spiritual Energy Essence.

Chen Ming has been contemplating and preparing for this over the past two days.

However, transforming the Enlightenment Nerve also requires complete facilities, which necessitate raiding the Mechanical Race.

Although Chen Ming has some experience with raiding the Mechanical Race, incomplete experience might be detrimental at times.

Plus, he really was quite busy over the past two days.

The construction of mechanical insect race architecture and replicating the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve occupied much of his time and attention. He could only delegate the matters of the Black Mist Spirit Ability User’s transformation and Insect Race units’ transformation to the Insect Race, scarcely any time for himself.

Let alone deploying a surprise attack plan.

Fortunately, today the mechanical insect race architecture is just about completing the verification process.

Moreover, there is also a replica experiment for the Mechanical Enlightenment Nerve today which requires action but not thinking.

So Chen Ming can free up some brain capacity... no, it’s the capacity of his consciousness for these matters.

And to assault the Mechanical Race,

The first step is to consult the opinion of the Mechanical Queen.

Two days ago, Chen Ming had assigned a Mechanical Race colony to the Mechanical Queen for management; after two days, management should have begun to show effectiveness.

The Mechanical Queen should also have surplus computational power, available for helping Chen Ming with certain tasks.

Chen Ming’s consciousness switches to the Mechanical Queen’s location at his Mechanical Race colony.

Previously, there was only one city, but since two days ago, it has become an entire mechanical race urban architecture cluster.

And due to Chen Ming seizing a Mechanical Race exploratory colony, Chen Ming’s Mechanical Race colony currently practically possesses everything he needs.
