Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

After losing the battleship capable of firing phase lasers, the Mechanical Race did not continue to bring out phase weapons to counter the Phase Giant Beast, seemingly without any means of counter-attack, unable to stop it.

However, since the Phase Giant Beast’s combat power mainly comes from its bodily melee abilities, its strong physical prowess allows it to flatten the Mechanical Race’s strongholds with exaggerated efficiency, but the overall destruction isn’t actually thorough.

Just like the colony where Chen Ming is currently located, which was the first to be destroyed by the Phase Giant Beast upon arrival.

There are still many buildings with parts of their remnants not completely destroyed.

So, in that area, it’s indeed possible that there are still facilities for producing Mechanical Spiritual Creatures of the Mechanical Race.

Of course, for now, it would be better for Chen Ming to go to another colony that wasn’t targeted by the Phase Giant Beast as the second target.

Chen Ming does not want to transfer the Phase Giant Beast’s hatred onto himself.

Moreover, searching in an intact colony is much easier than searching in ruins.

No more hesitation.

Chen Ming’s shuttle boat shot low towards the last large colony not yet affected by the Phase Giant Beast.

Although this colony seems temporarily undamaged by the Phase Giant Beast, and the Phase Giant Beast has yet to pay attention to it.

But in fact, as long as any Mechanical Race ship dares to ascend beyond a certain distance, the Phase Giant Beast in the nearby colony will immediately sense the ship trying to leave the planet.

It will immediately put down its ”work” and come to destroy the ascending fleet of the Mechanical Race.

The instant destructive power of the Phase Giant Beast is not significant, as it relies on physical collision to attack.

But the speed of the Phase Giant Beast is terrifying, and it also has the ability to perform short-range teleportation.

Any ship it targets is destined to be inescapable.

Even Chen Ming’s shuttle boat only dares to fly low.

Unless all of the Mechanical Race’s ships on the entire planet take off at the same time, it’s possible that some ships might escape the Phase Giant Beast’s pursuit.

But this was only possible before.

Now...

The Phase Giant Beast has already destroyed one colony and ravaged another for some time, flattening most of the area.

With only the third colony still having ships left, the Mechanical Race is utterly incapable of evading the Phase Giant Beast’s pursuit.

Moreover, the Mechanical Race still has to face Chen Ming’s fleet, whose location in the star system is unknown,

They have lost air supremacy and control of space because of the Phase Giant Beast, completely unaware of where Chen Ming’s fleet has gone.

With Chen Ming’s fleet watching them closely from outside, even though this Mechanical Race colony looks intact, it seems they have given up on fleeing, seemingly waiting for death peacefully.

But Chen Ming does not believe that the Mechanical Race will wait for death; they must be preparing some kind of measure.

Chen Ming must prepare himself to guard against the measures the Mechanical Race intends to use on the Phase Giant Beast being turned on him.

Or perhaps the Mechanical Race anticipated his approach and prepared ways to deal with him in advance.

Of course, regardless of which, it won’t affect Chen Ming’s next move.

He is bound to go to the third colony to try to seize the possessions of the Mechanical Race.

The shuttle boat, empowered by Chen Ming’s amplified spiritual energy, arrived over the third colony in the blink of an eye.

This time, Chen Ming was also familiar with the Mechanical Race’s combat style within their own colonies.

Knowing the most efficient approach.

Therefore, the moment the shuttle boat entered the range of the colony.

The sides of the shuttle boat suddenly spilled a large amount of metallic liquid outward, directly starting a large-scale covering from the sky.

These metallic liquids being unable to connect with the Dusk core in the robots he controls doesn’t matter, covering with the metallic liquid is enough.

As long as the Mechanical Race can’t clear those metallic liquids, when Chen Ming releases enough metallic liquid and activates the spiritual energy, that will be the moment of the Mechanical Race’s end.

Of course, releasing a large amount of metallic liquid will certainly pose problems.

For example, the Mechanical Race’s control hub is surely the most heavily guarded area.

In critical moments, to avoid being controlled by Chen Ming, they might even destroy it themselves, as they almost did earlier.

So Chen Ming has mentally graded every location in the colony by priority of control.

While releasing a large quantity of metallic liquid, his shuttle boat was also rapidly approaching the priority sites, the colony’s control hub.

Unfortunately, Chen Ming did not see a Mechanical Spiritual Creature conversion unit here, only some Mechanical Spiritual Creatures nearby.

But unexpectedly, he saw another Mechanical Spiritual Creature emitting a Destructive Spiritual Energy Fluctuation, the same as the one he encountered previously.

And this time, this Mechanical Spiritual Creature directly attacked him.

The method of attack was not observable by the naked eye.

One could only sense through spiritual energy that a wave of Destructive Spiritual Energy was about to act on the robot he controls, capable of destroying the robot’s body upon activation.

This situation caused Chen Ming to instinctively frown.

Not because of this attack.

But because, as far as he knew, all the Psychics and Spiritual Creatures, although they might possess similarly effective spiritual energies, the similarity is only superficial.
