Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

”It’s alright, the videotape won’t have any issues now, feel free to watch it.”

”However, the videotape might have gotten distorted due to spiritual energy influence. You must be careful if you try to restore it.”

Chen Ming couldn’t assure that if the videotape could be restored by technical means, it wouldn’t carry the Dimensional Power of the Crimson Dimension.

Bian Gaoxuan responded solemnly, ”I understand.”

”This experiment wasn’t a complete failure, at least it proved the conflict relationship between the Crimson Dimension and Phase Space.”

”So what’s the situation in Phase Space now?”

Chen Ming replied, ”I’m about to check.”

He didn’t hold back and broadcasted the robot’s footage to Bian Gaoxuan.

However, he added some delays to prevent anyone from seeing things they shouldn’t.

The Space Station’s shattered debris immediately appeared before Bian Gaoxuan’s eyes.

Looking at the internally fragmented Space Station, he recorded while casually saying, ”It looks like some force erupted from inside, leading to a conflict here.”

”Indeed, Dimensional Infection’s power and Phase Space’s power clashed here.”

Seeing Chen Ming clearly understood the whole process, Bian Gaoxuan immediately asked him, ”Director Chen, can you explain more about what exactly happened here?”

”When the Dimensional Infection Entity was about to die under Phase Space’s suppression, they converged. That’s when they ran towards the Space Station’s central area and created a rift leading to the Crimson Dimension. It’s probably a dimensional rift.”

”A dimensional rift?”

”Yes, unlike the dimensional infection we have seen, where the dimension infiltrates slowly, this rift truly opened a path to that crimson-colored dimension.”

”It’s possible to directly enter the Crimson Dimension through the rift.”

Bian Gaoxuan’s expression instinctively became tense, obviously considering the consequences of opening a rift connecting two worlds.

”Don’t worry.”

Chen Ming reassured him, ”The rift’s opening is in Phase Space, so it doesn’t affect the normal universe. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be calmly talking to you here, I’d be seeking help.”

Bian Gaoxuan sighed in relief, ”That’s good.”

”After the rift appeared, a giant eye with multiple pupils emerged from the rift, suspected to be a creature from the Crimson Dimension itself.”

”Previously, the light I blocked with spiritual energy came from that eye.”

”Nonetheless, I didn’t manage to block everything, and there’s still a ship... Wait, that ship...”

Chen Ming hadn’t noticed before, but now realized the ship seemed peculiar.

Bian Gaoxuan explained, ”That ship was full of death row inmates, originally intended for experiments in Phase Space.”

Then it’s alright.

Chen Ming initially thought it was an oversight by the director, or maybe worried the ship was on the edge of his spiritual energy protection and exposed to the crimson light, so it wasn’t taken away.

But upon reflection, it was intentionally left behind.

If the prisoners died, it didn’t matter much.

”Anyway,”

After finishing, having roughly scanned the Space Station debris through the robot’s view,

Chen Ming maneuvered the robot to the ship quietly suspended in Superspace.

From the outside, he opened the hatch.

Tearing away the withered decaying flesh covering the interior.

He saw several corpses of Dimensional Infection Entities that had also died.

Chen Ming stepped forward to confirm, ensuring the entities had completely lost their vitality before pulling a data cable from the robot, connecting it to the ship’s control system, and reading the recording.

Based on the recording content, just when Chen Ming’s barrier blocked the crimson beams and the director’s spiritual energy took away the other ships.

Only the prisoners confined in their positions remained here.

They didn’t know what happened.

Soon, they saw beams penetrating Chen Ming’s barrier illuminating the ship.

These beams didn’t destroy everything nearby like they did with the Space Station.

Instead, they penetrated the ship’s armor and hull, thoroughly illuminating every inch inside.

The death row inmates didn’t have time to react, losing stable consciousness upon contact, falling into madness.

The nature of the crimson light was akin to elements within the Crimson Dimension, filling each prisoner’s cells with seemingly endless knowledge.

Each cell appeared to possess its own consciousness, its own thoughts.

Aberrations naturally ensued.

Dimensional Infection Entities thus appeared on the ship, each being novel.

”Truly... terrifying, does this count as a new dimensional infection?”

”It counts.”

Chen Ming agreed with Bian Gaoxuan’s view, ”It could even count as multiple instances of dimensional infections, but it’s within Phase Space.”

”Phase Space is special; it possesses a unique awareness covering the entire dimension, capable of self-protection, clearing invasive dimensional powers.”

”Hence these entities couldn’t survive and definitely won’t survive.”

”I see, then why doesn’t our universe have such dimensional awareness to protect us?”

”Who knows.”

As Chen Ming and Bian Gaoxuan watched events unfold in Phase Space,
