Warhammer Divine Throne

The championship duel unfolded on the clearing before the Inner Castle.

Egil first launched a fierce attack towards Jules, the attack of the Champion of Khorne swept around him, raising a whirlwind of sharp axe blades rolling towards Jules.

Jules stood his ground, the power of the Holy Sanctuary burst from the Holy Grail Knight Commander, his body glittered with a dazzling light, and the Divine Sword ”Durandal” in his hand blazed with golden flames.

The clash between the Hell Battleaxe and Durandal was so bright that nearly all the spectators couldn’t keep their eyes open, Egil freely unleashing his terrifying power, while Jules displayed his outstanding swordsmanship.

The first strike resulted in a stalemate.

Neither Egil nor Jules felt the slightest surprise at this result; in the mere two opportunities for engagement, Jules and Egil had long been acquainted with each other’s strength.

Now, the Divine Chosen Champion of Khorne relied on unparalleled brute force to assault, suddenly charging forward, brutally crashing and shattering two houses in one go, Jules quickly dodged, his longsword drew a circle in the air, fending off Egil’s series of axe chops, the blood-red energy clashing with the golden flames of the sword, creating a piercing sound.

”Clang!” ”Boom!”

Amidst the thick dust, Egil charged again from the smoke, shouting angrily, he leaped high and lunged directly at Jules.

Jules remained calm, his gaze containing the wrath of the Lake God, the Holy Grail Knight Commander took a deep breath, tightly gripping the sword hilt with both hands, his footwork moving in a circle.

For the Lady!

Jules swung his blade horizontally, directing the sword tip at Egil’s wrist, drawing nearly a perfect arc, a cold flash slicing a gap in Egil’s gauntlet.

Egil didn’t care at all about the opponent’s attack, with a flick of his wrist, the Hell Battleaxe Gom directly attacked Jules’ head, unstoppable and without a doubt, the battleaxe, radiating hellfire, would spread death wherever it passed.

Jules inhaled the icy air deeply, having only recently broken into the Holy Sanctuary, while the Divine Chosen Champion of Khorne had been in the Holy Sanctuary for many years, he knew he couldn’t take Egil’s ferocious blows head-on, so he could only choose to interrupt his offensive.

It was too late, Egil’s movements were simply too fast, Jules immediately decided to use Durandal for blocking, and the sword blade blessed by the Lake God was so sturdy that even a Hell Battleaxe capable of easily slicing through steel couldn’t breach Jules’ defense.

An astonishing force transmitted through the sword blade, almost causing the Holy Grail Knight Commander to lose his grip and throw away his sword.

Using Egil’s power, Jules retreated in concert, rolling to the left to dodge Egil’s next axe blade, the Hell Battleaxe swept across, directly smashing the nearby house wall, debris and splinters flew, and Egil released the flames within the battleaxe blessed by Khorne, turning the entire house to dust.

Now this was it! Jules seized the moment when Egil couldn’t recover his strength, his blade broke through Egil’s defense, the longsword’s tip pierced through Egil’s Chaos Armor adorned with various skulls, spikes, and iron rings.

”Puchi.”

It was the sound of blade entering flesh, a small stream of dark red blood stimulating everyone’s nerves, and the Brittania knights cheered loudly, while the barbarians were somewhat incredulous.

Egil bled, Jules achieved the first blood in this championship duel.

Yet contrary to everyone’s imagination, Egil was completely indifferent to his own blood; on the contrary, the King of Skalings grew even more ferocious, forcing Jules back with a single horizontal chop, a bloodthirsty smile appearing on his weathered face: ”Continue, Holy Grail Knight, do you think such a minor wound can defeat me?”

”I will bring you down, in the name of the Lady.” Jules regained his footing.

The Holy Grail Knight Commander held his sword with both hands, his eyes emitting a strange light, Jules felt surprised at Egil’s lack of reaction to being wounded and bleeding, clearly the damage from Durandal was far beyond any mortal weapon, yet Egil could ignore it.

Then I shall make you bleed continuously, until you fall! Jules hardened his heart, his assaults fiercely bombarded Egil’s defenses like a storm, the sharp sword aiming directly at Egil’s chest.

Egil sneered at the Holy Grail Knight Commander’s attacks, the King of Skalings instantly regrouped his posture, battling fiercely with Jules, where they fought, the sky was filled with bloodlight, the axe light and sword shadow nearly making the onlookers unable to see their battle, any building close to them turned to dust under such a violent attack.

The incredible power of the Divine Chosen Champion of Khorne met the inhuman martial skills and speed of the Holy Grail Knight Commander, although Egil’s battle rage surged higher and higher, almost engulfing Jules, he stood like a rock upon the cliff by the coast, constantly battered by waves, using his Divine Sword to chop, slice, cleave, and slash, continuously neutralizing Egil’s offensives, leaving new wounds on Egil’s body.

Block, swing, block, swing, block again, after fending off Egil’s five consecutive fierce attacks, Jules exerted a forceful swing, a cold light slashed through Egil’s shoulder armor, the blood-red shoulder armor of the Chaos Armor cleaved open by Durandal, a flash of blood light appeared.
