Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 772: Chapter 571: Vila with an Extraordinary Identity

Hill felt that with the presence of the sailor and the God of Naval Warfare, Wilko, the seas of Toril weren’t devoid of a Sea God, so it might be best if Ambori was simply eliminated!

He really didn’t understand how a piece of trash like Ambori thought he was qualified to partake in this level of confrontation.

You see, Hill’s Ring of Winter might not be able to kill Valkin and Marla, but in the seawater, if Hill really had terrible luck, he would send Ambori off first.

Moreover, wasn’t Ambori afraid that if something happened to Hill, Agleya would come after her desperately?

”Why are you so insistent on seeking death, Ambori?” Hill sighed and asked, ”If something really happened to me, it would hurt you the most, right? Agleya would destroy you, even if it meant staying in Toril forever.”

”Hahaha~” Ambori, who had been struggling desperately, stayed still, ”Even if she doesn’t plan to compete with me for the possession of the Ocean God, as long as she is around, no one will believe in me!

Violence... has lost its effect.

Countless coastlines are praying for the advent of your Agleya, the divinity of the seas has been long gone!

Since that’s the case, of course, I choose to make her suffer!

I want to see if she can stay kind-hearted to a Toril that has buried her own people!”

Hill ignored her malice towards Agleya and himself, that impotent rage was of no harm to him.

He was just a bit surprised and asked the algae head in the ice, ”Can’t you give up violence? With the current situation, you could use dozens or even hundreds of years to change your style, and find people who would believe in you again!

Agleya always thought you would start anew with the islanders of Toril, restoring the faith in the Goddess of the Near Seas.

With the Sharkmen around, you cannot be completely eradicated, at worst you’d become a Demigod unable to stand in the Stellar Realm.

If you just had those Shark-heads help the island fishermen and save some unlucky souls in the storms, you could soon regain the divinity of the sea, You are the native deity of Toril!

Ambori roared angrily, ”Violence... only violence... that is the true ocean. No kindness, no salvation!”

Hill was indifferent then, he finally understood why no one came to save Ambori, this guy had already been completely destroyed by the destruction of his divinity, living like a beast, just like Marla.

Neither of them had ever tried to keep their minds clear, completely surrendering themselves to destruction.

So Olypher was still able to maintain his Arctic Circle faith, whereas Ambori and Marla had become scum that everyone could trample on.

What difference did they have from a Godly Fiend?

No, not really, Hill rejected his own thought, a Godly Fiend was still a bit harder to deal with.

He sighed, and the ice and snow burst into explosions instantly, whether it was goose feathers, snow involved in tornadoes in the sky, or the frozen sea, all that was left amidst the intense explosion sounds was lingering mist.

Hill turned and returned to the Cloud House from the sky-obscuring white mist. He couldn’t possibly let go of Ambori, no matter how kind-hearted, Hill couldn’t let go of someone who wanted to kill him.

But Ambori’s incarnate body, Hill wouldn’t leave it for anyone or sea beasts to devour.

She was different from Marla.

Murderous Vine, as a natural killer in the forest, has a nature to feed on flesh and blood. Devouring Marla, an enemy of nature, definitely wasn’t a problem; that was nature’s revenge.

But if it were to devour the incarnation of the Goddess of the Sea, it would suffer a curse from the law.

It’s not really a curse, indiscriminately devouring the flesh and blood of deities, most likely results in losing one’s mind, becoming a being like the Godly Fiend.

He wouldn’t let the Murderous Vine meet such a fate.

Hill steered the Cloud House along the coast towards Agleya City, he felt that no one would come out to intercept him anymore.

Hill looked at the entwined Murderous Vine and smiled easily.

A Level 21 Demigod Sorcerer plus a Level 23 Mage, he indeed was not inferior to those of lower-ranked divine power, his hands held no fewer divine artifacts than theirs.

Suddenly thinking of the Elven God King, Hill, jealously pursed his lips, that guy was useless!

Hill deliberately slowed his return speed, and by the time the Cloud House flew above Agleya City, the Murderous Vine had completely devoured Marla’s division, sinking into a deep sleep.

Little Flower Fairies finally had the courage to fly out of the protective circle of the Windmill Jasmine, cautiously looking at the terrifying vine from afar.

But forest folks would never hurt the Flower Fairies. So they were cautious but not fearful of the Murderous Vine. Upon discovering its essence had no harm to them, they immediately began fluttering around the clusters of tiny flowers that sprouted on the vines.

Yes, the sleeping Murderous Vine had bloomed.

The dark red Murderous Vine looked as though it was embedded with gold threads, its leaves and thick vine stems turned dark golden, appearing majestic. Yet, the flowers it burst into were all tiny clusters of pure white petals.

The little flower fairies couldn’t let go of her nectar, having completely forgotten that it came from a ferocious creature that had devoured deities; they brushed each blossom with their tiny brushes and little water bottles.

Hill thought about it and demanded to meet, to share half, or else, he would take the vine to a place no one could find.

The flower fairies screamed angrily for a while, but under Hill’s insistence, they agreed.

They finally realized, not only was the place they lived in Hill’s, but the vine also belonged to Hill.

Allowing them to take half of the nectar, Hill had already been a very generous host, and now they had to start paying rent too.

Hill soon discovered that he originally intended to take only half of the Murderous Vine’s nectar, but these little flower fairies seemed to extend that request to all their labor outcomes.

Though slightly embarrassed, the nectar brewed by these flower fairies was delicious, an encounter Hill had never experienced before; the sweetness was identical across all types of flowers.

Hill did not deny it.

Fortunately, the little flower fairies crazily fell in love with the sky garden of the floating castle.

They lived in a windmill jasmine flower hanging in the center of the garden’s big tree, collected nectar from the Murderous Vine asleep in Hill’s study each morning, and after a hearty lunch and a nap, they threw a dance party in the garden.

When Hill noticed them again, he was surprised to find his house now hosted domestic brown sprites.

And in the garden, the number of little flower fairies had grown to tens.

Only then did Hill realize, according to the little fairies’ logic, as long as one little fairy made a deal with Hill, all the other little fairies could join the agreement automatically.

Hill quietly observed for a few days, only to discover that the oak tree he planted in the garden was directly connected to the Shady Home of the Joyous Court.

The floating castle soon filled with a peaceful and peculiar atmosphere, the Force of Nature began to grow rapidly, and the little fairies of the Joyous Court turned it into a Magic Power hotspot.

Hill finally realized, Vila’s identity was not ordinary; she was likely the daughter of Queen Titania, no wonder the queen’s reaction was so intense, transforming Hill’s place into Nature’s Home directly.

It is known, although the queen has many companions in the inner court, her children are few.

Though he didn’t know Vila’s full name, another Vila was the Oak Princess Vilanesri, the goddess of tree spirits, wind elves, and water sprites, and she was a sister to this little flower fairy Vila.

And Vila, who had not returned to the Royal Court timely and moved with her mother to the Outer Planes, even carrying the crown of the little fairies, had not yet become a deity formally.

Now, as the Joyous Court no longer had the resources to assist her in achieving divinity, she could only remain in the Prime Material Plane and strive on her own.

No wonder she managed to escape with Amanata’s Holy Grail, Hill couldn’t help but shake his head with a smile; that cup was not easy to converse with unless it was with a devout follower of Amanata. It only communicates with deities or beings of divinity.

Hill sighed, based on the little fairies’ logic, Hill had indeed established a contract with the entire Joyous Court, and that was their queen’s daughter.

After some time, it was likely that other little fairies would come too.

Hill called List and asked him to take note, one was not to throw out the cleaning brown sprites thinking them invaders, and another was, if pixies and gnomes also arrived, to greet the Undead Tribe on his behalf.

If they got lost along the way and were in good spirits, to play a bit with those mischievous little beings, and if not in good spirits, to directly summon the Puzzle Lock to lead them away.

Hill understood, in the little fairies’ eyes, only places covered by the Water mist were Hill’s territories.

At Agleya City, it was not so.

When Lynn came to visit Hill at the Floating Castle, he instantly noticed something was off; the place had suddenly filled with more natural aura than the Elf Forest Royal Palace of Eternity Island.

He stared at the little brown sprites poking around in the hall, speechless for a long while.

For elves, since leaving the Supreme Forest completely, they had not seen these adorable creatures of the deep forests. Even those domestic brown sprites who loved living in big houses had vanished without a trace.

These little fairies had almost turned into stories from fairy tale books, and Lynn had grown up listening to these tales.

The legendary tales of the elves always said that the little fairies had completely abandoned the Toril Continent and moved to the Shady Home of the Outer Planes.

Although some older elves had mentioned that the members of the Joyous Court still established their tiny magic kingdoms in the deepest parts of the great forests, they rarely interacted with adults anymore.

This was Lynn’s first encounter with real domestic brown sprites.

”Lynn?” Hill, noticing his prolonged absence, emerged from the study, ”What’s wrong?”

”I thought you went to Icewind Valley?” Lynn turned to look at him, ”But why does it seem like you’ve been to the Outer Planes? Where did you find these little fairies?”

Hill blinked, a small figure standing on his hair placing hands on its hips, ”What’s wrong with little fairies?”
