Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 481: Chapter 479: Death Incarnation Unleashes a Clone

After leaving Ricar’s territory, Gu Xi hadn’t gone far when he saw Julie.

The moment he saw Julie, Gu Xi immediately said one thing.

”Death Knight?”

But Gu Xi quickly shook his head. No, the guy in front of him wasn’t a Death Knight; he was just a Ghost clad in Knight Full Armor.

Although the Ghost was riding a warhorse and wielding a Great Axe suitable for mounted combat, he didn’t belong to one of the Knights.

When he saw Gu Xi appear, he raised his head, and then his gaze fell on the Death Incarnation following behind Gu Xi.

He raised the War Axe in his hand, aiming at the Death Incarnation in the sky.

”Die!”

Julie shouted loudly, without needing any more words, and rushed directly at the Death Incarnation.

The Death Incarnation hadn’t expected that there would be someone so fierce in front of him.

This was someone delivering themselves right to him.

Without thinking, the Death Incarnation turned his body, and his tail struck heavily at Julie.

Thud!

When the tail struck Julie, it emitted a sound like a Copper Bell being struck.

This further proved that under Julie’s Armor was empty.

This hit from the Death Incarnation didn’t disperse Julie. Instead, it gave Julie a chance to attack. He swung the Great Axe down, chopping at the Dragon Bone.

Clang!

Julie’s attack didn’t cause much trouble for the Death Incarnation, but instead made him understand Julie’s situation.

His Attack Power was stronger than Xavier’s before, but not by much.

Manageable.

With this thought, the Death Incarnation arched his body and rammed straight at Julie’s warhorse.

Gu Xi planned to destroy this warhorse first before dealing with Julie.

This was a good method to deal with Cavalry.

But in the face of this attack, Julie had a different reaction. When the Death Incarnation charged at the warhorse, the warhorse, also fully armored, raised its front hooves and stomped heavily on the Death Incarnation’s head.

Seeing this situation, Gu Xi quickly administered a Miniature Magic Potion.

If the Death Incarnation couldn’t handle this situation, then he would need to replace its components.

But at this moment, the Death Incarnation showed a new move.

He sucked his body down as if inhaling.

Gu Xi thought he was about to use a powerful Dragon Breath, but unexpectedly a Ghost Dragon composed of blue flames separated from the Death Incarnation’s body.

Gu Xi was startled by the sight before him.

Then Gu Xi understood. This was the Clone Skill obtained from Well Dragon King.

He didn’t expect it to be researched in the Longgu Laboratory.

Gu Xi also understood why this happened. This clearly utilized the orb left by the Netherworld Phoenix before.

Gu Xi thought the Death Incarnation took the orb just to use it as a Self-Destruction medium.

Unexpectedly, it became a Clone medium.

Just as Gu Xi understood the principle behind the clone, the Ghost Dragon clone made of blue flames charged at Julie.

At the same time, the Death Incarnation spun around, embedding his front claws into Julie.

Julie didn’t take the clone seriously and swung a backward chop, hitting the Death Incarnation.

He could see that the Death Incarnation was the hardest to deal with.

As long as he eliminated the Death Incarnation, the flame-made clone would have no reason to exist.

But he never expected that the reason the Death Incarnation turned the orb left by the Netherworld Phoenix into a clone was not that they found some method to make clones.

It was due to some mutation left from the last use of that orb for Self-Destruction.

Even though the orb fell into the Death Incarnation’s hands, it still contained two significant Traits of the Netherworld Phoenix.

One was revival after Self-Destruction.

If it weren’t for the last self-destruction, the Death Incarnation wouldn’t have known the Netherworld Phoenix could be used like this.

Even reduced to just an orb, it still sought a chance for resurrection.

According to the original plan of the Netherworld Phoenix, after the orb explodes, nearby enemies would be blown to death, giving the Netherworld Phoenix the chance to revive.

But the Death Incarnation was different. After Self-Destruction, it carried the power and was reborn in the Longgu Laboratory.

And the Netherworld Phoenix, trying to revive, was captured on the spot and became a clone of the Death Incarnation.

In this way, the Death Incarnation obtained the Traits of the Netherworld Phoenix.

Additionally, he also acquired the other Trait of the Netherworld Phoenix, Soul Breaking, together.

The Netherworld Phoenix belonged to the Spirit Fire Constitution, which is most suitable for dealing with ghostly armies.

As soon as a Ghost was touched by the flames on their body, it would ignite immediately. Even if the Ghost was powerful, there was no way to extinguish these flames; they could only cut off the ignited part and throw it away.

Julie didn’t know any of this and thought the released Flame Avatar was just ordinary fire, not paying it any attention.

In Julie’s eyes, the Armor that he had tricked out of Xavier was the Super Armor he had meticulously designed for so long, capable of being waterproof, fireproof, and resistant to electricity; the Ghost protected by the Armor could exhibit tremendous power.

The most important point was that the Ghost entering inside the Armor could regain a body, take whatever they wanted, and even perform Physical Attacks.

This was Julie’s idea.

In Julie’s eyes, a little flame was of no consequence; taking down the Death Incarnation was what mattered.

But Julie never thought that this flame was a specialized fire aimed at Ghosts.

The Death Incarnation’s Flame Avatar never expected Julie to have no intention of Dodging.

He charged forward, colliding with Julie.

Then, both Julie and his mount were ignited on the spot.

The blue flames instantly burned on Julie and his mount.

These flames had little effect on the Armor. From a distance, one might think Julie was about to unleash some great move.

Actually, Julie’s situation was quite dire; trapped inside the Armor, he couldn’t even find a chance to discard the burning parts.

His current situation was like being trapped in a pressure cooker; he couldn’t even lift the lid, with flames burning his body from all directions, leaving him no escape.

At this point, Julie realized he might have miscalculated the situation. Originally, he wanted to showcase his power to Gu Xi, hoping Gu Xi would pay a high price to recruit him back.

If Gu Xi couldn’t pay a high price, he could maintain his independence.

But he didn’t expect something like this would happen. It was an attempt to be flashy that turned into foolishness.

Seeing he was about to perish, Julie hurriedly said, ”Sur...Sur...render...”

But Gu Xi disdainfully replied.

”Take him down, just bring back the Armor.”
