Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 473: Chapter 471: Fighting for Myself

This time, I fight for myself!

Looking at the newly updated map, Gu Xi comforted himself.

It can be said that this battle was really something Gu Xi sought out for himself.

Otherwise, given that Gu Xi already obtained the Leadership Skill and mastered the Death Decree, he could easily have left in advance.

But truly asking him to give up, that’s impossible.

He glanced at the targets he needed to deal with.

Three are clearly neutral faculty members under Naviduo, three possible pets or experiments given free rein by Naviduo, and a professor who regularly helps Naviduo outside.

There are seven in total here, which means Gu Xi has more to handle.

After all, when calculating initially, Naviduo, including himself, was estimated at only twenty people.

For three people fighting, that’s seven per person.

Now there are five of them, although the painting professor only suppresses Naviduo’s dean privileges without taking action, there are still three strong individuals.

They calculated to go together to siege Naviduo.

Regarding their actions, Gu Xi disdainfully sneered.

Giving so many people to him, do they really think he can’t handle it?

Holding the map, Gu Xi said to Calimduo, ”Can you send me back to the place I just came from?”

”You want to go back? There are no opponents there that require your action.”

Calimduo glanced at Gu Xi, somewhat puzzled by his choice.

”My subordinates are still there, some matters need handling.”

With the map, Gu Xi already formed a plan, but some things he wouldn’t reveal.

Saying so now would just cause trouble.

Calimduo looked at Gu Xi, mistakenly thinking Gu Xi had a further route planned.

”Alright, I’ll send you over, but let me tell you, I’m Naviduo’s sworn enemy. By using my Teleportation Gate, you will surely be targeted by Naviduo.”

”When he attacked me, we were already sworn enemies.”

Gu Xi naturally smiled.

At this, Calimduo believed Gu Xi, and promptly opened a Teleportation Gate for him.

As Gu Xi prepared to enter, Calimduo handed him something resembling a key.

”Take this, it’s proof for you. Even if you leave the Mysterious Academy’s area, you can return quickly.”

Taking the key, Gu Xi looked up and asked a question.

”Calimduo, no, Dean, how much time do I have?

You’ve also noticed, the enemy is somewhat scattered.”

”Three days. We also need to prepare to block Naviduo from regaining forces. You have three days to handle his periphery. If possible, the sooner the better.

If you can finish early, you might even have time to come and join handling Naviduo.”

”Three days, right? I’ll remember.”

Without looking back, Gu Xi entered the Teleportation Gate.

Earlier, Gu Xi had been pondering a matter.

Now he has a plan formulated.

Whether it succeeds depends on timing.

As Gu Xi stepped through the Teleportation Gate, Calimduo and others discussed how to address Naviduo’s forces within the academy, not even considering that Gu Xi, who they’ve suppressed all along, still had the resources to turn the tables.

However, what they discussed had nothing to do with Gu Xi.

In their eyes, Gu Xi was an outsider, granting a dean position was enough.

It’s best not to distribute the academy’s authority outside.

After exiting the Teleportation Gate, Gu Xi immediately launched a Magic Divine Arrow into the sky.

Under this signal, Shaya swiftly appeared nearby.

Before Shaya could speak, Gu Xi directly placed the new map and targets in Shaya’s hands.

”Shaya, now there’s a very important task for you. Investigate these people’s situations for me. Additionally, I need the identities and information of all neutral professors and faculty within the academy.

Their locations, and most importantly, the shortest routes to them.”

Shaya glanced at the map briefly, then pondered, ”I’ve heard there’s a faculty member specializing in secret passages within the academy. I’ll find him to inquire.”

”Alright, I’ll give you one day. Regardless of information, you must return in a day.”

Shaya nodded, initially wanting to say it wouldn’t take that long, but after glancing at Gu Xi, she refrained.

In Shaya’s view, Gu Xi choosing to allocate a day must have reason behind it. With the mutual understanding between the Contracted Undead and Gu Xi, they don’t need unnecessary words.

Shaya nodded at Gu Xi, then disappeared swiftly.

Subsequently, Gu Xi swiftly initiated action.

He deployed three city gates, arranging them in a defensive formation, and called Amirka for guarding.

”Amirka, I grant you the authority to mobilize the remaining troops of Yalidu City. My sole request: when I return, you must hold this position, regardless of who attacks, withstand it.”

Amirka grinned, ”Don’t worry, master. With me here, no one can take these three city gates.”

Assured Amirka can handle everything, Gu Xi turned to enter the Steel City Gate.

The Steel City Gate in Yalidu City is built on the road leading to the Yaliduvi Tower.

After entering through the Steel City Gate, Gu Xi immediately leapt onto the Evil Coffin.

”To Yaliduvi Tower!”

When Gu Xi appeared in Yalidu City, Luna naturally sensed it first.

She could originally move freely in Yalidu City, and now with mastery of Mirror Ability, she’s even more elusive.

The Evil Coffin had just begun to move when Luna appeared beside Gu Xi.

”Master, is something wrong?”

”Encountered a bit of trouble, but it’s also an opportunity. I’m going to find Eldest Princess Anna, maybe this is a good chance.”

Gu Xi didn’t elaborate much to Luna, instead swiftly changing topics.

”How’s the construction of the Soul Summoning Tower? And what about the battles on Di Mi’s side?”

”In three more hours, the Soul Summoning Tower can be completed. As for Di Mi’s side, according to the news from Eldest Princess Anna, she’s already invaded Yalidu City from the Tudor Dynasty era, and is now engaged in street battles.

Based on the current situation, it takes approximately five more days to capture the entire Yalidu City.

If considering the time to clear surrounding enemies, it might take at least half a month to complete everything.”

”That’s fast enough. Was Yalidu City large during the Tudor Dynasty era?”

”Large, quite large indeed. Our Yalidu City originally has only four districts, whereas during the Tudor Dynasty era, Yalidu City initially had ten districts, larger than the range we now control.”
