Chapter 451: 434 Contribution StoreChapter 451: Chapter 434 Contribution Store

After arranging a dinner gathering with several other trialists for the next day, Mu Ying set about sorting out the loot from the vampire hunt.

Besides money, there was a heap of warrior, wanderer, and magician skill training manuals, spellbooks, as well as seven smaller space rings, and one larger space ring.

The rest were all miscellaneous items.

Previously, she had thought of using these items for exchange with contribution points, but at that time, the local people didn’t have enough contribution points to afford them, and the existing system was already attractive enough to players.

But now, after the establishment of the cross-regional transfer array, it was possible that more powerful beings would come to the territory. To keep them, Mu Ying needed to add a bit more incentive.

Space rings might be purchasable outside of Deep Blue Star, albeit at a higher price, but within Deep Blue Star, they were priceless.

Because of that price, very few players on Deep Blue Star could afford them; no merchants would bother trekking all the way to their remote location to sell them.

Edwin’s space ring, for instance, was bought with items converted from the trial world, and even that was a substantial loss for him.

The appeal of these space rings was definitely sufficient.

Additionally, some skills not listed in the player manual were quite rare. However, since they all came from vampires, Mu Ying needed to be selective and only present the appropriate ones.

For instance, warlock magic from vampires wasn’t suitable for players to learn, as it required vampire bloodline support.

Mu Ying noted each of the items she decided to present on parchment.

Just these items wouldn’t be enough, as it was too scant, so Mu Ying also included some special products from her territory, such as Dingling Flower, Permanent Light Lantern Vine, Binding Vine, hair dyeing magic potion, fish tail potion, breathing potion, youthful potion, contraceptive potion, fertility potion, and more.

For instance, the disguise potion could also be offered after she got the transfer array situation settled.

There were also property rights to tree houses, management rights to sub-camps, and private farming land plots.

This was something she had learned in Kajiatan City.

Setting up sub-camps wasn’t a big deal for Mu Ying, handing them over to others to manage was also fine as she could collect taxes, and it was better to set a clear price for interested players like it was done with the half-breeds.

However, the price was higher than in Kajiatan City.

Because she didn’t want someone to get the management rights and then fail to manage them properly, resulting in a return, the price also served as a barrier, affordable only to those who truly had the ability.

After compiling the list, Mu Ying set the price in contribution points for these items, considering the current contribution point balance of the local people.

From now on, the territory specialty store would not sell magic potions and such; all would be incorporated into the contribution store.

Having considered these rules, she opened a special contribution store module on the territory’s internal network.

She listed all of the items’ descriptions, prices, and quantities available, and also clearly stated the specific exchange rules.

She then posted a notification in the territory affairs module.

[Notice: A new contribution store module has been launched on the territory’s internal network, featuring space rings, skill training manuals, Dingling Flowers, sub-camps, and other quality items—check it out!]

Every player browsing the territory’s internal network saw this message, and upon returning to the main interface, indeed found a small house icon labeled “Contribution Store”.

Clicking into it led to a set of usage instructions.

[Contribution Store Usage Instructions]

[1. All goods in the store can be exchanged for territory contribution points only, some may have additional requirements]

[2. Contribution points can be traded through the territory’s internal network]

[4. The number of each item varies, and they are available until sold out. After an exchange, territory personnel will contact you to arrange for item collection]

Only after this notice was the store’s official display window presented.

...

Every player who clicked in first drooled over the merchandise, and then felt heartbroken looking at their Contribution Points balance.

Cheng Wei: “I’m so poor! I like every one of them, but I can’t afford a single one.”

Delis: “Is there anyone poorer than our clan leader? The sub-camp ran up a tab on credit for the whole clan, and now we’re millions of Contribution Points in debt!”

Mao Sanji: “Then you’re even poorer! I’m charging for a Space Ring!”

Cheng Wei: “Old Mao, how many Contribution Points are you still short of?”

Wang Hu: “I know, Brother Mao is 99,999 points short!”

Zheng Wenyang: “Are you trying to laugh me to death so you can inherit my Contribution Points?”

Lu Zhiyan: “The Double Petal Flower is what the Lord and sub-camp leaders use to contact each other by phone, right? So expensive!”

Fang Jiang: “Don’t you think the quantities of those Space Rings seem familiar?”

Li Wei: “Sharon and her seven male servants, exactly eight!”

Lily: “Is anyone selling Contribution Points? Starting from 5 copper coins per point, price negotiable! Interested parties can find us mermaids!”

Liu Luoluo: “Don’t you have Space Equipment?”

Lily: “We need to buy Magic Potions!”

...

As the territory forum buzzed with discussion, Draco, who’d just heard the news, told his brother, “You can go back to Canter Town on your own. I’m going to stay here and save up Contributions!”

“Not just you, I want to stay here too!” Aleksey said: “There’s so many good things in Qingshan City; who could resist?”

But as a man with his own territory and family business, Aleksey’s eyes shifted, and he gave Draco a sleazy smile: “My dear little brother, how about we convert the 500 Gold Coins you owe me into 100,000 Contribution Points?”

“Don’t even think about it, a deal is a deal for 500 Gold Coins!” Draco was after that thousand cubic meter Space Ring. He was all set to work in Qingshan City and he wasn’t leaving alone without that hefty ring!

Aleksey huffed: “Does our brotherhood really not even worth 100,000 Contribution Points?”

“Did we ever have brotherhood?” Draco said righteously.

“I should have left you wandering the wilderness for a lifetime!” Aleksey said huffily.
