I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 470: 453: Horror TombChapter 470: Chapter 453: Horror Tomb

Was she really the one who casually created a super invincible huge explosive fireball and destroyed the entire Blood Crow Nest to wipe out the vampire?

It was indeed cool, but since when do Druids conjure big fireballs? That’s totally preposterous!

The following plot about constructing a Transmission Array network was even more twisted and implausible. In the scene, an owl, braving the elements, was rushing day and night through thunderstorms and blizzards, beset by various Magic Beasts.

In short, it emphasized how she endured so many hardships and faced so many difficulties while establishing the Transmission Array network. It was thrilling to the extreme, almost making the journey to the West look like a walk in the park.

Upon closer thought, there were huge spiders, skeleton monsters—goodness, wasn’t this clearly drawn from Journey to the West?

Mu Ying, whose vision was still excellent, spotted Draco and Aleksey sitting in the front row; both were in on the secret. She wondered what they thought after watching this film.

In any case, Mu Ying felt she almost couldn’t show her face anymore.

Right there, she sent a private message to the Mushroom Man Elders, asking them to add at the end of the film: “This story is entirely fictional, please do not relate it to reality.”

She only felt relieved after seeing that line actually appear at the end of the film, although the font was a bit small.

When she walked out of the Mushroom Man Theater, there were only four words in Mu Ying’s mind: “Survived against all odds.”

“Ying is truly amazing,” Shi Yin watched with great interest. “After we are done walking around, I have to come watch it again.”

“...” Mu Ying firmly disagreed this time, covering her face, “Your avatar has been by my side all the time, you know what happened. The film was too fake, give me a break!”

Shi Yin couldn’t help but burst into laughter, deciding not to tease her anymore, “All right, I will reluctantly part with it.”

“Let’s go, Sister Layla’s concert is about to start, let’s hurry!” Mu Ying quickly changed the subject and teleported Shi Yin to the side of Moon Lake without further ado.

Moon Lake was where Mu Ying had specifically constructed a stage using Plant Magic for the performance. By that time, the area around Moon Lake was already packed with people.

Mu Ying had a flash of brilliance and teleported herself and Shi Yin to a tree by the lake where they sat side by side, watching the performance below.

The view from the tree was great, concealed, and Mu Ying could even magically send flowers to the performing Elves.

“The Elves are so talented!” Despite having heard the Elves rehearse many times in the Elf Village, she was still amazed.

Mu Ying felt that perhaps only the singing of the mermaids from the Emerald World could compare to them!

She couldn’t help but hum along to the tune.

She also took out some snacks she had made herself to feed Shi Yin.

It wasn’t until noon that they prepared to go to lunch.

Mu Ying had already chatted privately with Mrs. Sela and booked a private booth at Sela Restaurant; now, they could just teleport directly there.

After lunch, the two headed to the Horror Tomb, which Mu Ying had been looking forward to for a long time.

Although the Tomb Park was large, it could only admit 100 people at most each time. Mu Ying used her admin privileges to add Shi Yin to the list, fearing they might not get a turn until the night.

The entrance of the park displayed the play rules in blood-red font.

[Horror Tomb Park Rules]

[1. Players cannot attack ghosts]

[2. Those touched by ghosts are eliminated]

[3. Finding an exit means victory, and there are multiple exits]

At the start, all players were transported to a chilling, slightly smelling space, with strange noises and no light at all.

Players entering at this point mostly knew a bit from previous players and brought their lighting tools.

This was a damp, decayed hexagonal stone platform with six stone bridges leading to different directions in the tomb. Skulls filled the pits at the edges of the platform, along with some coins.

Just as everyone was wondering if these bones were real, they suddenly moved. Blue flames appeared in the skull’s eyes, and those close to the platform had their hands reaching over, grabbing the feet of players nearby.

Within moments, several players had vanished from beside the stone platform.

“It’s a ghost! Weren’t they supposed to come from the tomb corridors? Why are there skeletons too!”

The players immediately descended into chaos, frantically running onto the stone bridge.

With the crowd, some were directly squeezed off the bridge and fell screaming into a pile of skeletons, fully enhancing the tense atmosphere.

Shi Yin, holding Mu Ying’s hand, blended into the crowd and rushed into a tomb corridor before the skeletons could take over the bridge.

This first stage had eliminated half of the players, and after they entered the corridor, many more passages suddenly appeared.

Those who “survived” were also shaken, “My God, that was too thrilling, too exciting!”

“Should we stick together or split up moving forward?”

“Let’s split up. It’s too easy to be a target together. Besides, it feels more intense with fewer people. I’ll go ahead first!”

...

Shi Yin also led Mu Ying into a narrow tomb corridor shrouded in darkness.

The two of them had to stay close to each other.

Shi Yin also had the ability to see in the dark, so the two of them proceeded without any lighting tools, just moving ahead in the darkness.

“Yin, aren’t you scared?” Mu Ying asked, looking at the calm person beside her, feeling helpless.

“Scared!” With a name like Horror Tomb, it seemed inappropriate not to be scared.

Mu Ying: “...”

Do you look scared?

“If everyone were like you, Little Stone would probably starve to death.”

Mu Ying decided to tease him a bit and patted the tomb corridor, “Little Stone, show him what you’re capable of!”

A ghost, with long hair covering its face and limbs crawling rapidly, appeared behind them in the corridor, while ahead there was a hangman swinging from a rope.

“Yin, now I’m just a weak woman who can neither fight nor run. You figure it out!”

Mu Ying sulkily said.

She had participated in building this place and was determined to be fair and impartial, not helping him cheat!

Shi Yin, unable to do anything else, transformed into his Wolf Form and spoke clearly, “Come on up, I’ll carry you!”

Mu Ying hadn’t been carried by Shi Yin for a long time. Her eyes lit up, and before she knew it, her body reacted faster than her brain, and she found herself sitting on the back of the silver giant wolf.

Shi Yin charged forward like an arrow released from a bow.

In front of them, the hangman’s eyes bulged, and its tongue, which was extremely long, whipped towards them like a lash.

But Shi Yin didn’t slow down, and Mu Ying felt as though they had passed through something, and the hangman suddenly vanished from sight.

Looking back, they had already charged past it, covering a distance of dozens of meters.

The hangman, losing sight of its target all of a sudden, was still bewildered!

Mu Ying, keeping her body low, said in amazement, “Was that Teleportation? That’s amazing!”

The praised Shi Yin barked joyfully.

However, ahead in the tomb corridor, dense Ghost Fires appeared, filling a length of dozens of meters.
