At Furris’s suggestion, Mu Ying’s fruit banquet was not held in the floral hall of the banquet area but directly in the orchard.

The elves all loved to stay in places with a strong natural ambiance.

When they met again, the elves were noticeably more at ease, each obviously dressed up in exquisite formal wear.

The elves’ formal wear was not cumbersome and heavy like that of humans; instead, it was lighter and more beautiful.

“Little goddess!” Layla, holding an accordion, grinned flatteringly at Mu Ying, obviously self-conscious about what she had just said in the group, “I really was saying you’re smart!”

“I know!” Mu Ying waved her hand, “Just call me Mu Ying! I’m a few hundred years younger than you, and being addressed so formally feels strange. Let’s keep it normal!”

“Then by age, you should call me sister,” Layla muttered.

“Sister Layla,” Mu Ying agreed amiably. Calling someone sister was no big deal.

“Ah ha~” Layla covered her mouth and giggled non-stop. “Good little sister!”

Furris stared at Mu Ying.

Mu Ying got the hint immediately: “Sister Furris!”

Furris was pleased.

Then a series of brothers and sisters followed, and no elf felt distant from Mu Ying anymore.

“Since you call us brothers and sisters, you are not only a goddess to be protected by us but also our family! You shouldn’t be distant with us either. If anything happens, don’t forget us. Although you might catch up to us in strength before long, if something big happens, we can still ask for help from Wang Ting and Lord Correlon,” Furris said.

“Okay,” Mu Ying felt warm inside. Perhaps being an elf wasn’t so bad.

The elves were connoisseurs of fruit, but the fruits Mu Ying brought out were from the Deep Blue Star, and though they may have tasted similar ones, many had never seen the exact same fruits.

“Xiao Muying, is this smelly thing really the king of fruits from the Deep Blue Star?” Layla asked incredulously.

Mu Ying nodded, “Those who like it, love it a lot; those who don’t, really dislike it.”

“This mango is delicious!” Ferilon, sitting atop a tree branch, handled a delicate little wooden spoon, enjoying a large mango.

In fact, not a single elf liked the stinky durian, but they were particularly fond of the uniquely flavored mango.

“Is this the mango tree?” A few elves who were also druids showed interest in the trees in the Fruit Forest.

“Yes, before the world evolved, mango trees generally grew further south. These few are mutated varieties that are more cold-resistant, as are the durians. Do you want some saplings or seeds? If you like, you can take some back and try planting them.”

Mu Ying gently caressed a tree and plucked a few saplings out.

“Yes, please!” The elves also rummaged through their Space Rings, giving Mu Ying quite a few of their seeds in return.

When everyone was tired from walking, they sat on the grass between trees or on tree branches. The elves took out their instruments, and together they played one tune after another.

The Gem Fairies naturally had a high affinity for the elves and frolicked among them.

Some elves sat under trees adorned with Lamp Vine, setting up their easels.

Mu Ying sipped a Grandma Fruit, feeling exceptionally relaxed—elves are so talented! Each one an artist.

But she didn’t relax for long.

“Xiao Muying, a long life without music is so dull, why don’t you learn the accordion with me!” Layla strongly recommended, and even gave her a beautiful accordion as a gift.

“The harmonica is more convenient to carry, learn the harmonica with me,” Ferilon gave Muying a harmonica.

And this was just the beginning.

Before long, Muying’s front was piled up with all sorts of things.

She was forced to have a bunch of music teachers, painting teachers, carving teachers, even gear crafting, and brewing teachers.

Under the pretense that Elves must learn something to pass the boring days.

“But I’m not bored at all! I have such a large territory to manage, so many spells to learn, so many levels to ascend, and never-ending business in the Trial World. Time is so pressing, I don’t have so much time to learn these things.”

If it were before the apocalypse, when the environment was quite safe, she would have been quite interested in these things—who doesn’t want to be talented and versatile?

But now, she even considered lying on the grass and sunbathing a luxury, with a pile of things to do, she couldn’t possibly learn all these items.

“Xiao Muying, humans rush because they don’t get to live past level 10, with a lifespan of only a hundred years, and their prime cultivation years are but a few decades.

But we are Elves! Naturally, we have a lifespan of seven hundred years. With good cultivation, from level 10 onwards, each level can add a hundred years, reaching Legendary Rank at level 18 adds a thousand years, reaching Demigod at level 19 adds another thousand, and beyond level 20 you become a God, immortal. You’re a Goddess, bound for at least Legendary Rank, meaning, you have two thousand four hundred years of lifespan.

And you’re not even 20 years old yet; you’ve only been cultivating for less than two years and have already reached level 9. With so many years ahead, you could travel the entire universe!

Don’t push yourself so hard. At your age, the little elves in the Elf Forest barely recognize all the characters yet!”

Layla advised, possibly because Xiao Muying grew up in human society, she adopted the same pace of life as humans.

With her talent and speed, she might reach Legendary Rank or even Demigod before she’s aged a hundred.

Although the Elf Clan would be envied by other races for producing such a super-genius, the Elves themselves don’t necessarily find it a reason for joy.

An underaged Elf reaching such heights only proves that the adult Elves have not taken adequate care of their young, letting them bear too much too soon.

This was the first time Muying heard that reaching level 20 meant Godhood. From this perspective, her level 9 status was indeed remarkable.

It seemed like there really was plenty of time, no need to rush.

The Evolution Center had not yet lifted the blockade on the Deep Blue Star, and there were already quite a few extraterrestrial beings over level 9 in this world.

How many more will there be once it’s lifted?

The enemy won’t care whether you’re underage or not, danger is always there.

Perhaps because she was an orphan in two lifetimes with tough survival experiences, she lacked a sense of security. If she didn’t try hard, she was afraid she would be helpless when facing dangers in the future.

“If I had three thousand years of life and cultivated slowly, I might not even live to a hundred because my strength isn’t strong enough, and my ability to withstand risks is weak. Dying a natural death would also be difficult.”

Muying tried to make them understand her point of view.

She found that the Elves seemed a bit like witches, perhaps because of their longevity, they seemed somewhat indifferent!

But this world is filled with dangers, unlike the Emerald World where witches, even if ignorant, could get by as long as they didn’t trust humans recklessly.
