I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 496: 479: Elf CountryChapter 496: Chapter 479: Elf Country

Furris talked endlessly about the Elf Country of Avando.

Mu Ying gained a deeper understanding of this planet and the Elf Clan.

Avando is a relatively secluded planet where only pure-blooded Elves can enter.

Elves are a long-lived race, and generally have excellent Talent in cultivation; they basically can live for over a thousand years.

However, in contrast, their reproductive ability is much worse, and pure-blooded elves are extremely rare.

In Avando, the number of pure-blooded elves from old to young adds up to just a few tens of thousands.

With the protective backing of the Correlon God King, the Elf Clan is considered one of the most formidable races in the Multiverse.

Even though they are few in number and occupy the resource-richest planet, where on average everyone is extremely wealthy, still, few dare to target them.

The Gods of Great Divine Power can be counted on one hand and are mostly not very active. With Correlon present, Avando truly is an absolutely safe paradise for Elves.

No wonder the Elves are carefree, following their hearts’ desires, having wealth and leisure, and a powerful figure protecting them, they naturally have little to worry about!

But Mu Ying didn’t feel everything was perfectly fine. Instead, the more she listened, the more she felt that the Elves had too little experience and were rather insular, always living in a safe environment, which could be a hidden danger.

The lifestyle of the Elves felt to her like that of a witch in the real world.

To be born in hardship and die in comfort, the historical lessons of Xia Country also show that shutting oneself off from the world is undesirable. The Elves’ ability to occupy resource-rich Avando relies heavily on the protection of the Correlon God King.

“Sister Furris, besides the Correlon God King, do the Elves have any other high-level combat power? Isn’t such seclusion potentially making them fall behind others?”

Furris confidently said, “With the powerful Avando, how could our Elf Gods be inferior? The Elf Divine System is also one of the strongest in the Universe. Although we are few in number, we live long lives and have excellent Talent. Though growth takes a considerable amount of time, each individual’s strength is very strong. Any one of us could be considered elite among other races, and we also have many seasoned veterans who have lived for over a thousand years.

Moreover, the history of the Elf Clan is ancient, and Correlon God King is very visionary. Apart from Avando, there are Elf settlements on other Life Planets, some of which even occupy very favorable Law positions, so there’s no need to worry about falling behind others at all.”

Although Avando is closed off to external contacts, the Elves are not isolated from the world.

The surrounding subsidiary planes of Avando are open to outsiders, for instance, the largest of these, Trachsel.”

The central city of Trachsel, Jade Cold, is one of the few super-cities in the Multiverse. It contains Transmission Arrays leading to major cities across the Multiverse, serving not only as a transportation hub but also hosting many races friendly to the Elves. Countless trading companies operate here, making it extremely bustling.

Many sociable Elves also choose to settle on these subsidiary planes.”

Having heard all this, Mu Ying finally relaxed. The Elf Clan indeed possessed great power and was not as secluded as she had initially thought; they had simply reserved a pure land for their people.

Most importantly, like witches, although sometimes xenophobic, the Elves were internally very united and basically did not engage in infighting.

“Once the blockade on Deep Blue Star is lifted, you, being the Daughter of God, can set up a Transmission Array in advance during your time in the medium-sized cities. This could greatly facilitate the development of the territory.”

“By then, you will be able to sit on the Transmission Array and visit Avando, and there’s a territory belonging to you over there at least half the size of the Deep Blue Star. All the resources within are your property, enough to last thousands of years without running out,” Furris added.

Honestly, hearing this, Mu Ying suddenly felt she could just lie back and not strive anymore.

Although her bargain father had sown seeds far and wide, resulting in numerous offspring, her identity as the Daughter of God still held significant value.

“All right, it’s about time we wrap up for today! Don’t push yourself too hard,” Furris said gently.

Feeling as if her bones had been pulled out, Mu Ying lay on the rooftop, “Today I realized just how strong the Elf’s backing is. I think I can afford to lie here and enjoy for three minutes.”

“Why only three minutes?” Furris asked with a smile.

“Because my household registration is on the Deep Blue Star! How can I achieve a Divine Position by hiding in Avando?” Mu Ying said.

Furris didn’t know what “household registration” meant, but she understood her concerns, “Indeed, it’s easier to achieve a Divine Position on the Deep Blue Star.”

It’s indeed comfortable to lie down in Avando relying on the identity of the Daughter of God as long as the environment is safe. Even if there’s no extra Laws, achieving a Divine Position wouldn’t matter.

But only pure-blooded Elves can go there, and what about her territory, her Local People, Shi Yin, and the young ones? Mu Ying couldn’t part with any of these.

And to stay on the Deep Blue Star, being a rare Life Planet that could birth Gods with Intermediate Divine Power, it surely attracted considerable attention. Once the world lockdown was lifted, the recently stabilized Deep Blue Star would undoubtedly face new upheavals, requiring her to grow stronger even faster.

As long as she became the most powerful God on the Deep Blue Star, she wouldn’t need to worry about security issues at least in this land. Gods on their native planets could gain significant advantages, while Divine Power could be weakened on other planets.

A God on their own planet could fend off enemies from higher echelons, and if she could become a God with Intermediate Divine Power, then on the Deep Blue Star, she could contend against Gods with Powerful Divine Power – and there weren’t many such active in the Universe!

By then, with the backing of the Elf Clan, she would truly be secure.

Currently, the Deep Blue Star had no ruling God and all the Laws remained uncontrolled. Mu Ying, currently holding a significant advantage in both strength and Source Power, was highly competitive, but she couldn’t slack off.

Until the very last moment, no one knew if they could win. Her task was to deepen this advantage rather than being too arrogant and inadvertently falling behind.

The influence of the Elf Clan should become one of her competitive advantages, helping her to go further, rather than relying on it to simply lie back and consider everything settled.

After lying down for a while, Mu Ying felt even more motivated. It was the right time to expand her advantage and pursue victory.

She sprang up, “Sister Furris, I’m off to cultivate! I want to level up soon!”

“Go for it!” Furris watched her disappear with mixed feelings of reassurance and helplessness.

The little goddess was always so vibrant, sometimes overly ambitious, not resembling an Elf and appearing more mature than many adult Elves, yet inexplicably bringing comfort to those around her.

This way, she was sure to become a powerful God as she had claimed!
