I Live on the Land in Global Games

“Yes, why indeed?” Itsera was reminded.

Aisha was indeed an ordinary human, so how could her tears heal Edville?

It was Itsera who had blinded Edville’s eyes herself, and she could guarantee that, apart from witches, no one in the world could heal his eyes.

Although Aisha had accumulated a considerable amount of magic power in her body because she had been eating Magic Miss Cuisine since she was young, in terms of the amount of magic power, she was almost on par with a young witch who had just come of age.

But all the magic power accumulated from eating Magic Miss Cuisine was stored in her long hair! Her long hair had been cut off and made into a magic potion. She had already drunk it.

Since then, she hadn’t eaten Magic Miss Cuisine anymore, and she should be completely an ordinary human being.

Itsera couldn’t understand: “Have Edville’s eyes really returned to normal?”

Mu Ying nodded. “I saw it with my own eyes.”

“Was it cured by Aisha’s tears?”

Mu Ying nodded again, “Vier said so himself, and the Village Chief said so too. Although it might differ from the actual facts, it should indeed be true that he recovered quickly after meeting Aisha.”

“Why, though?” Itsera frowned.

“Perhaps after drinking the magic potion, Aisha’s body underwent some kind of change,” Mu Ying wasn’t too sure about this aspect.

“You’re right. Perhaps I should track and study the subjects who drank the magic potion for a while longer. Maybe I really overlooked something!”

Itsera stood up, “I’m sorry, Mu Ying, I can’t be a proper host to you. My lifespan isn’t long, and I can’t miss any opportunity that might lead to a perfect antidote. I must continue with my experiments.”

“No problem, I’ve already found out what I wanted to know,” Mu Ying took out a Double Petal Flower, “Here’s this for you. If you get any results from your research, please be sure to contact me with it. I’m also looking forward to hearing your good news!”

“Sure!” Itsera took the Double Petal Flower briskly and hurried to the laboratory at the back of the garden.

As the Master had left, it was also improper for a guest to stay long, Mu Ying threw out her Flying Carpet and left the place.

After leaving Star Cave Village and flying into the dense woods outside the village, she landed, switched to the Magic Carriage, set the navigation for the interior of the Rose Kingdom, and after choosing the route, she checked her current mission progress and world exploration degree.

Now, only the last fragment remained. Mu Ying felt both anticipation and melancholy.

When the last fragment was collected, it would be when her exploration degree in the Second Trial World reached 100%, and also when she would open the Third Trial World, shifting the focus of the trial to the Third Trial World.

Based on her previous experience, as she underwent the trial in the Emerald World, time also passed in Square World, and her character in the Square World lay motionless on the Single Bed.

When she went to the Third Trial World for her next trial, time in the Emerald World would probably pass as well.

The lifespan of the green witch was only three hundred years; what would happen when the time was up and her body aged and perished? Would she never be able to return to the Emerald World again?

She really liked the Emerald World a lot.

How she wished to return to the Undersea Kingdom after collecting the last fragment, and open a shop with Windsor and Senior Sister Rosie! But if she were trialing in another world, her body as the green witch in this world could only be in a state of stasis.

To truly be with them would only cause them worry.

The only choice was to find a remote, beautiful, and relatively safe place to settle down, to park her body.

It was time to start considering this matter now!

With time on her hands, she took out the world map to examine.

During her travels, she might not have traversed most regions of the world, but she had at least visited each kingdom. Now, the final one on her itinerary, the Rose Kingdom, was within her route.

There were many places with no human inhabitants and breathtaking landscapes, and some had very unique geographical features.

For witches, these places were safe havens, and settling down anywhere wouldn’t raise safety concerns.

However, for Mu Ying, who might spend most of her time asleep, it wasn’t a good choice.

When the body is in slumber, it becomes completely unaware of the outside world.

After much consideration, Mu Ying’s gaze finally rested on the central part of the map, a place on the continent that resembled an emerald—the Witch Forest.

The inner areas of the Witch Forest naturally prevent the entry of other Races, making it exclusively the domain of witches.

This is why there is a custom requiring little witches to be brought back to live in the Witch Forest at the age of three and to remain there until they come of age.

Because this place belongs to witches, little witches are completely safe here. They are protected from accidental harm that could befall them at a young age due to human actions.

Similarly, if she chose to settle down in the Witch Forest, she would basically be free from danger.

The witches are united with each other, devoid of strife. The only potential danger might be the wild animals that naturally exist in the forest, but those could easily be warded off with some protective measures—after all, the wild animals in this world are genuine, ordinary creatures.

To witches, they aren’t dangers, but resources.

She only needed to ensure she didn’t sleep for too long at a time, letting her dwelling appear too rundown and leading other witches to mistake it for abandoned and break in to scavenge.

So, she focused her attention on studying the map of the Witch Forest.

The Witch Forest was vast and the most densely populated area for witches. There were those who settled there temporarily with their daughters, those who decided to return for a permanent stay after traveling the outside world, and those who worked there.

However, apart from the Chunjian Lake, Hat Mountain, Wind-Raising Land, and Cedar Forest—the four locations for the Four Seasons Market—even within a hundred miles’ radius of other areas, one might not find a neighbor.

The map wasn’t clear enough; she decided she would directly visit the Witch Forest for a walk after collecting the last fragment, then find a place that caught her fancy.

There was nothing else she needed to prepare. Once she found the place, she would just have to place the Magic Hut there.

All her luggage was carried with her, such was the advantage of being wealthy!

The carriage travelled through the forest for many days, and she gradually lost the novelty she had felt for these woods.

That day, Mu Ying was sitting in the carriage, reading the Witch’s Book and snacking on pastries while passing the time.

“Whoa!”

The carriage suddenly came to a sharp stop.

The Magic Fake Horses driving the carriage let out alarmed cries as a warning.

Holding the Witch’s Book, Mu Ying was caught off guard, lunging forward. In a critical moment, she braced herself against the carriage and stabilized her body.

Having traveled so long, this was the first time she encountered such a situation.

Her Magic Wand appeared in her sleeve; she waved her hand to open the carriage door and looked outside warily.
