I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 461: 444 Supporting the ShopChapter 461: Chapter 444 Supporting the Shop

Anybody can construct a Transmission Array in an unowned camp.

Mu Ying did not even need to conceal her identity, she directly walked in and even deliberately placed the “Drix—Qingshan” Transmission Array next to the “Drix—Luoya,” aiming to ensure that every player coming from Luoya City would spot this Transmission Array at first glance.

Players in the Northern Europe region had not expected Mu Ying to skip an appearance in Luoya City and build the Cross-Regional Transfer Array in the No Master Camp; within two minutes, she was gone.

After all, she had cooperated with territories with Lords before.

Such an expensive Cross-Regional Transfer Array, placed in an unowned camp, weren’t they afraid that if the camp disappeared, the Transmission Array would be destroyed as well?

Who knew that the Lord of Luoya City was still waiting for Mu Ying to come, ready to refuse with an indifferent attitude, or to bargain with her to extract more revenue from the Transmission Array!

Instead, she quietly built the Transmission Array in a small camp.

“This is so infuriating, what does Mu Ying mean by this, is she looking down on our Luoya City?”

The people of Sakura City were also feeling uneasy inside, wondering if Mu Ying would just pick some unowned camp to build the Transmission Array and call it a day!

Of course, Mu Ying treated everyone equally. She did a quick disguise and went to Sakura City first to verify the rumors on the forums, and then “carefully selected” an unowned camp to build the Transmission Array.

The process was done in one go.

As of now, Qingshan City and other regions were all connected by the Cross-Regional Transfer Array.

It was even earlier than Mu Ying had initially estimated.

Thinking about the substantial amount of growth funding Wang Ting had sent her, all in Purple Gold Coins, she thought it might be a good idea to build more Long-distance Transmission Arrays in the Xia Country region before the end of the year, making them even more dense.

With just one Purple Gold Coin, she could connect all the unowned territories in the Xia Country region with a Long-distance Transmission Array and still have money left over.

Using the camps that had already built Transmission Arrays, this time Mu Ying did not even use the Magic Flying Carpet, but directly teleported to a camp and then rode a flying broom to each nearby camp to build Long-distance Transmission Arrays one by one.

In the Xia Country region, she had no need to hide at all.

Mu Ying was reminded of this by the development pattern of Noa City.

The transportation-first development model of Noa might not be bad; it was only due to insufficient funds that the development of the Main Territory was hindered.

But Mu Ying had money!

She could connect all the camps in the world with Transmission Arrays if she wanted to.

If it weren’t for the hassle of visiting so many places and the low population in other regions’ unowned camps, she really would have done it.

Every day on the World Forum, players from a camp celebrated having a Transmission Array directly connected to Qingshan City.

“Is Qingshan City going to become the second territory to establish a Transmission Array with all the camps within the region?”

“How much money does that cost! Has Mu Ying learned the penny-wise and pound-foolish approach of Noa after her visit?”

“Is this her betting it all on the City-level Territory competition?”

“Ha, mere mortals, the wealth of us Lords surpasses your imagination!”

...

No matter what the players in the other regions thought, the players in the Xia Country region were the happiest.

Those who could save up the teleportation fee all chose to go to Qingshan City.

Last year’s New Year event in Qingshan City made a lot of people hugely envious, and this year they finally had the chance to participate!

When Mu Ying finished building the last Transmission Array and teleported back to Qingshan City, she suddenly discovered that the teleportation square was overcrowded.

Teleportation lights would flash from time to time.

The territory unexpectedly had the bustling atmosphere of a mega city before the apocalypse.

Around Moon Lake, there were more high-rise Tree Houses in the central area.

Mu Ying checked the Territory interface in the Player Manual and saw the resident count had reached a staggering fifty thousand.

The wealthy Mu Ying expanded the Main Territory to 500 hectares in one go and increased the number of Tree Houses to fifty thousand, which was more than sufficient.

With the increase in population, there weren’t enough shops.

But this time, Mu Ying did not choose to recruit new businesses through the shop recruitment interface but instead posted a new notice on the Territory Internal Network.

[Notice: The territory is launching a new shop support activity. All new shops will be tax-free and receive reduced rent for three months!!! Interested parties may contact Ms. Du Jinlan, the Territory Business Leader, to obtain a business license.

Additionally: All shop owners can edit their own feature recommendation pages on the Internal Network’s teleportation map! (It is recommended for shop owners to indicate their shop’s group chat number on the recommendation page and recruit delivery personnel to enhance delivery services, facilitating online shopping.)]

This support for new shops was mainly to encourage players to open stores.

Some players were not adept at cultivation, but their business acumen could be as strong as that of the recruited merchants.

And some had special skills.

It was only due to limited resources before that they couldn’t operate.

Encouraging these people to open stores would not only inject new vitality into the territory but also create more job opportunities for the players.

The first three months of being tax-free and having reduced rent greatly reduced the costs of opening a store.

After three months, those who could endure would be the worthy, promising shops to support.

Additionally, with the existence of the Short-range Teleportation Array and the Territory Internal Network, no matter how large the Main Territory is, distance would never be an issue—one teleportation, and you could be at your destination.

Only the shops located in more secluded places might not get noticed by players who don’t often venture there.

But with the Territory recommendation page, every time players teleport and open the teleportation map, the shops will have prominent and conspicuous signs, and clicking on them will show the shop’s detail page.

That way, no matter where the shops are located, they have the opportunity for exposure.

The delivery service would allow the shops’ business scope to expand further, completely breaking the limitations imposed by shop location.

The chat zone on the Territory Internal Network exploded with the announcement.

Huang Dong: “Is the territory going to have takeaway delivery? All shops better roll out fast! I really miss the days of home-delivered takeaways!”

Liu Jinhai: “I was hesitating to open a hot pot restaurant, but with this event’s timing, I’m going to register right now!”

Wang Dengke: “Where’s the upstairs hot pot restaurant planning to open? I really want to eat it, the super spicy kind!”

Liu Jinhai: “Arranged!”

Chen Chunlan: “Chen’s Buns is preparing to move! Everyone, join the group to order! We can deliver to your doorstep!”

Sela: “Sela Restaurant is recruiting two delivery personnel! Interested parties, please call to inquire!”

...

In terms of food, the people of Xia Country refuse to be outdone, and all sorts of snack shops began to reemerge!

Now, the outputs of the Public Farm Camp and the Breeding Camp were enough to cover the expenses of the entire camp and still have a surplus.

With the prices of these products coming down, the raw material costs for catering services are relatively low, so giving it a try didn’t involve much risk.
