Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

90: Chapter 90 Launching Nuclear Weapons, the Fury of the BeastThe Bear Country discovered that the dozen or so missiles had not killed Bai Xuan.

They launched missiles again; this time, they really went all out, with over a hundred missiles striking the unrecognizable snow mountain one after another.

”Damn it, even this can’t kill it!” said the General of the Bear Country, as this result had long exceeded his expectations.

Even the most high-tech missiles were unable to kill it, and standing behind him were Bear Country Officers with grim expressions and heavy gazes.

If they couldn’t even kill it while it was stationary, they dared not imagine how terrifying it would be if it successfully achieved a breakthrough.

The General of the Bear Country was silent for a moment, then, as if having made up his mind, he opened the cover of a red button and pressed it resolutely:

”Launch the nuclear weapon, we must eradicate this beast!”

The other Bear Country Officers did not stop him; once the arrow is shot, there is no turning back, and giving up now would mean all their previous efforts were in vain.

Once that beast successfully breaks through and turns back to attack them, they would be in a very passive position; therefore, they must not miss this opportunity!

Even if it damages their international image and causes irreversible destruction to the Far East Region, they must kill that beast at all costs!

In a secret area within Siberia of the Bear Country, a large nuclear weapon silo cover opened, and a long-range large missile carrying a nuclear warhead was launched, flying towards the Far East Region at a terrifying supersonic speed.

...

”In the end, they still used a nuclear weapon.” Major General Kardik stood on the balcony, gripping the railing tightly with both hands, his eyes solemn as he muttered to himself.

Major General Long Shaoyang watched the nuclear bomb cutting through the void in the sky, trailing a long mist, its tail thrusters emitting dazzling blue flames, and let out a bitter laugh: ”That fierce beast is truly terrifying; even a hundred missiles couldn’t do anything to it. If...”

”If one nuclear bomb doesn’t work, then ten, or a hundred!” Major General Kardik crushed the railing with his palm; he was very nervous right now.

Provoking a fierce beast would only have one consequence: a beast tide, which poses a significant threat to both the Bear Country and the Dragon Country.

But they were already prepared to deal with it, and Major General Long Shaoyang shook his head helplessly:

”A hundred nuclear bombs, just thinking about it is terrifying.”

Major General Long Shaoyang naturally knew that Major General Kardik was just speaking out of anger; the destructive power of a hundred nuclear bombs on the Blue Planet would be immense, and the first to be affected would only be the Bear Country and the Dragon Country. This behavior was inadvisable, and the Dragon Country would never agree to it.

Unless it was a matter of life and death, such a large quantity of nuclear weapons would not be used.

”Apologies, I spoke without thinking; please forgive me, Major General Long.”

Realizing his lapse in composure, Major General Kardik quickly said.

...

”Holy crap, is it necessary to go this big?” Bai Xuan sensed the arrival of the nuclear weapon with his divine sense and nearly lost his composure.

A hundred missiles were one thing, but now a nuclear bomb? This was clearly a rhythm of being determined to kill him.

The previous missiles hadn’t caused much damage to Bai Xuan, only some minor superficial wounds.

Relying on his super healing ability, Bai Xuan quickly recovered to his original state, while the snow mountain had long since been razed to the ground.

Bai Xuan was now on the ground, surrounded by a raging sea of fire, with flames soaring into the sky that even the heavy snow could not extinguish.

At the same time, before this, Bai Xuan had already ordered the Savage Bear Clan to retreat to the eastern region to avoid being affected.

Now it seemed that Bai Xuan indeed had foresight.

Bai Xuan had now entered the moment of breakthrough transformation and could not move; he could only mobilize the spiritual energy within his demon core to wrap around himself and form a defense.

With a loud bang, the earth shook and the mountains swayed; the terrifying shockwave spread for hundreds of miles, razing everything to the ground.

Some spiritual trees perished in this disaster, along with some fierce beasts that couldn’t escape in time.

The power of this nuclear bomb was equivalent to four or five ”Little Boys,” and a huge mushroom cloud rose into the sky, dyeing it a fiery red.

...

Xiong Yan led the clan to escape to the eastern region, looking at the huge mushroom cloud rising before his eyes, his eyes revealing worry:

”Eagle King, you must hold on...”

The other Savage Bears bowed their heads in prayer, begging heaven to protect and let Bai Xuan and the fierce beasts survive this crisis.

At the same time, after this incident occurred, it made them understand the importance of unity; if they wanted to survive, they had to be united.

Likewise, it also intensified their hatred for humans, and some had already made up their minds to swear to kill all humans!

Deafening roars and cries resounded throughout the Far East Region, as if venting the anger in their hearts, and as if encouraging Bai Xuan to hold on, while praying that he could overcome this crisis.

”Eagle King has bought us precious time and taught us the importance of unity; we must never fail its expectations! One day, we will take revenge on humans and let them taste our frustration and pain too!”

Fierce beasts and humans could no longer live in peace; a great war was inevitable, and the seeds of hatred had taken root and sprouted in their hearts.

The Savage Bear beasts all stood up, roaring towards the sky as if vowing to take revenge!

...

Far East Region, southern territory.

A large tiger, twenty-five meters long, stood on all fours on the mountaintop, looking at the distant, huge mushroom cloud with worried eyes:

”Brother Bai...”

It was Hu Zi, whose level had reached the fifth stage of Tier 3. Its fur was beginning to transform, the dark blue stripes becoming deeper and spreading more, and a pair of small wings had grown on its back. It could not fly yet; perhaps after advancing to Tier 4, it would be able to master the ability of Flight.

”This group of damned humans, one day I will make them pay a painful price!”

Hu Da’s eyes revealed anger, grinding his teeth, with hundreds of tigers following behind him; these were all his subordinates.

After entering this region, Hu Da and Hu Zi each developed on their own, finding tiger packs, strengthening their clan’s power, and breeding offspring.

Similarly, Hu Da had also advanced to Tier 3, possessing a level of the fourth stage of Tier 3, ruling the entire tiger pack as an absolute authority.

Hu Zi’s force was more diverse, consisting of tiger packs, wolf packs, pig herds, and a portion of the Black Bear clan, and the scale was also very large.

Immediately after, a huge, dark mass of crows flew towards them. The leading fierce beast was Xiao Hei, who was now the Black Crow King, commanding numerous flying fierce beasts. Xiao Hei landed beside Hu Zi and folded its wings; by now, it had also advanced to Tier 3, with pitch-black flames on the top of its head, and three long, mysterious black fire feathers growing from its tail, looking domineering and majestic.

”What should we do now? Should we attack the humans to avenge Little Bai?” Xiao Hei asked.

It was burning with rage and wished it could lead the clan to rush into human territory right now, wreak havoc, and avenge Bai Xuan.

But having heard Bai Xuan’s words earlier, it forced itself to calm down and came here to discuss how to respond with Hu Zi.

If it weren’t for that passage of words from Bai Xuan earlier, they might have already started attacking human territory by now.

”Let’s listen to Brother Bai’s words; now is not the time to clash head-on with humans.” Hu Zi replied after a moment of silence.

It had experienced a lot during this period and had become much more steady; now that this kind of thing had happened, it had to respond calmly!

If it were its old explosive temper, it would probably have been the first fierce beast force to lead the fierce beasts into human territory!

”I understand.” Xiao Hei nodded gently; it had to consider the big picture and could not, because of a moment of anger, destroy the forces it had worked so hard to build up. It was thinking for the outsiders as well; only by staying calm could they survive.
