Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

59: Chapter 59 Third-Order Octopus, Bear Kingdom WarshipGreat White Sharks swarmed in.

Bai Xuan focused his mind and calmed his breath, channeling the spirit stones within his body to condense icicles in the sea. When the Great White Sharks were only two or three meters away, he launched them, attacking indiscriminately and piercing through the bodies of all the marine life present.

Fresh blood dyed the sea red, and the smell of blood spread along with it.

In just an instant, all the marine beasts that wanted to attack Bai Xuan were killed on the spot, dead beyond any doubt.

Bai Xuan opened his eagle beak, and a terrifying suction force drew all the corpses into his mouth; his evolution points soared.

[Devoured Mutated Great White Shark, Tier 2 Stage 3, gained 400 evolution points.]

[Devoured Mutated Great White Shark, Tier 2 Stage 4, gained 500 evolution points.]

...There were also a bunch of small fish and shrimp, which added up to a significant amount.

At the same time, this awakened the Tier 3 beast in the depths of the sea.

A pair of scarlet giant eyes suddenly opened in the depths of the ocean, and the sea surface surged violently, as if some creature was about to rush out of the water.

”Awakened?” Bai Xuan used Divine Sense Perception to detect the Tier 3 beast approaching him at an extremely fast speed.

Suddenly, several tentacles, like giant pythons, attacked Bai Xuan.

Bai Xuan looked closely and saw the true face of the Tier 3 beast, which was as massive as a mountain!

It was a giant octopus with tentacles over ten meters long, covered in sharp spikes. Its large, round, smooth head had dark blue patterns. Hiding in the depths of the sea, it could change color and blend into the surrounding environment.

Bai Xuan flapped his wings, and several Ice Flying Blades shot out, severing the attacking tentacles. Immediately after, he opened his eagle beak, channeled the spiritual energy within his body, and gathered it in his throat, where a light blue glow began to shine.

[Frost Breath] A light blue beam of frost shot out from Bai Xuan’s mouth. Everywhere it passed, it froze, simultaneously piercing through the Tier 3 octopus’s body and freezing it into an ice sculpture.

The Tier 3 octopus was on its last breath, looking at Bai Xuan with shocked eyes; it had never seen such a terrifying beast:

”Don’t kill me, I know I was wrong, please give me another chance.”

It struggled to hold on, then made a sound, begging Bai Xuan for mercy and asking him to spare its life.

The Frost Breath grew stronger and stronger. A moment later, the entire Tier 3 octopus was frozen solid. Even with its terrifying vitality, it could not withstand this attack, and its internal organs and brain collapsed, leading to its death.

Bai Xuan was ruthless and concise, swallowing it into his stomach:

[Devoured Tier 3 Raging Sea Octopus, Tier 3 Stage 1, gained 2000 evolution points.]

This was the first Tier 3 beast Bai Xuan had killed. Its strength was indeed very strong, but in the face of absolute power, it appeared so pale and weak.

After all, Bai Xuan was a full major tier higher than it.

At the same time, he also obtained a high-grade spirit stone, but because the octopus had absorbed much of it, he could only gain four thousand evolution points.

Afterward, Bai Xuan continued to devour marine life, growing to his maximum size, eating to his heart’s content; everything that could provide evolution points was swallowed into Bai Xuan’s stomach.

...Meanwhile, a large warship, accompanied by several smaller warships, was sailing on the ocean. On the warships, there were many naval guns, and covers similar to manhole covers were located on the deck, storing various types of missiles inside.

With such behemoths sailing on the sea, not many beasts could pose a threat to them. Even with their powerful radar systems, those marine beasts were shot into sieves before they could even get close to the warships.

”Colonel, a large Mutated Creature has been detected in the waters ahead. Should we attack it?”

An officer came up to a Colonel and reported the matter.

That officer was a Bear Country Naval Colonel, Colonel Shelby, who possessed the strength of Tier 2 Stage 7. He was the one commanding this warship patrol.

Colonel Shelby picked up his binoculars and stood in the warship’s command room. Through the glass, he used the binoculars to inspect the situation in the waters ahead. The water surface was turbulent, blood had dyed the sea red for a hundred miles around, and some minced meat floated on the surface; the smell of blood could even drift over to this side.

This made Colonel Shelby frown, his expression grave: ”These damned beasts have actually grown to this extent.”

Colonel Shelby was very talented and had received a large amount of resources, raising his level to Tier 2 Stage 7 in a short time. His mental power was naturally very strong, and he could clearly feel the terror of that beast in the sea.

”Colonel, according to reliable intelligence, the waters ahead should be the territory of a giant Tier 3 octopus. Over the past half year, it has killed many beasts and has shown great hostility toward our warships and fishing boats, resulting in several attack incidents.”

Nokosov reported everything he knew to Colonel Shelby.

”I am naturally aware of this. This warship patrol also came for this beast. We cannot let it continue to destroy things wantonly.”

As a Naval Colonel, Colonel Shelby naturally understood these things, but seeing it with his own eyes for the first time still shocked him, especially that powerful aura.

This caused his wariness of beasts to rise by several notches.

Nowadays, many countries have been occupied by beasts, becoming hell on earth.

Other countries have been increasing their military spending, trying to survive this disaster. The situation in Bear Country is not too bad; the Siberia region is almost resolved, and next will be the sea areas and the Far East Region.

Colonel Shelby was specifically here to control the beasts in Bear Country’s waters and had been given a heavy responsibility.

Allocating time, money, and manpower to suppress the sea beasts was quite a burden.

Colonel Shelby also knew the danger of these waters, but he still took on the mission without hesitation.

”Fire torpedoes to suppress and kill this beast.” Colonel Shelby picked up the walkie-talkie and gave the order. Soon, several torpedoes dropped from the tubes into the sea, heading toward that behemoth in the ocean at an extremely fast speed.

Other missiles were ready to launch, as were the naval guns. The personnel and Soldiers had serious expressions, holding live ammunition, awaiting orders.

In the sea, Bai Xuan was devouring beasts, eating ravenously; he ate whatever he saw. At the same time, he also killed many beasts.

Suddenly, Bai Xuan sensed something. He turned his head and looked closely, and what came into view were several torpedoes heading toward him, moving at extremely high speed:

”Holy sh*t, they’re coming for me.”

Bai Xuan gathered his strength, channeled spiritual energy into his Eagle Claw, and swung out several freezing flying blades, heading toward the incoming torpedoes.

The two collided, and the torpedoes exploded. The water temperature rose rapidly, the surface surged violently, and immediately after, several huge splashes exploded, making a crackling sound, with smoke swirling about.

”Report, Colonel, the torpedoes seem to have been blocked by some kind of force and did not hit the Tier 3 beast.”

Nokosov reported the situation with a grave expression.

This beast was truly terrifying; even torpedoes could not harm it.

”Continue firing!” Colonel Shelby slammed his palm heavily onto the steel table, leaving a large dent. Colonel Shelby was both shocked and annoyed by this.
