Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

61: Chapter 61 was quite frightening, the Mighty Dragon fighter jetJust as they were feeling smug.

The raging cold wind dispersed the smoke, and immediately after, hundreds upon hundreds of ice spikes tore through the air, each three meters long, attacking the warships like a violent storm.

Colonel Shelby also saw Bai Xuan’s current state clearly.

”Cold Scale Tyrant Body”: Ice crystals resembling dragon scales covered Bai Xuan’s entire body, crystal clear and exuding an overbearing aura. His golden pupils gleamed with a cold light, and wisps of cold air rippled out. Spreading his massive wings, they blotted out the sky, as if a god had descended!

”This… he doesn’t have a single injury!” Colonel Shelby’s pupils shook, his tone filled with shock.

Looking at the behemoth before them, combined with the Death Pressure, everyone on the warships felt as if they had entered a freezing purgatory! Their bodies couldn’t stop trembling.

At the same time, under the violent attack of the ice spikes, the warships were severely damaged, and personnel suffered heavy casualties!

Only now did Colonel Shelby truly understand the extent of Bai Xuan’s terror!

”Colonel Shelby, hurry up and get on! We can’t stay here any longer!”

Ruokesifu piloted the military helicopter, arrived overhead, and dropped a rope.

Colonel Shelby hurriedly grabbed the rope; he dared not continue to clash with Bai Xuan.

This time he was truly badly frightened, having long since lost the will to fight.

Put it this way.

If God told Colonel Shelby to go fight Bai Xuan, he would shoot God without hesitation.

Just like that, the helicopter took Colonel Shelby and left the area without stopping.

Under Bai Xuan’s fierce offensive, the three warships sank into the water.

Not a single person on the warships survived!

Bai Xuan looked at the fleeing helicopter, flapped his wings, and chased after it: ”Want to run? Not a chance!”

In the blink of an eye, Bai Xuan appeared in front of the helicopter. With a single strike of his razor-sharp Eagle Claw, he swatted the helicopter into fragments, sending it crashing into the sea, and Ruokesifu died on the spot!

Colonel Shelby, holding onto a steel deck plate with both hands, floated on the water’s surface. Looking at the behemoth before him, those sharp eyes staring coldly at him, Colonel Shelby broke out in a cold sweat, feeling as if he had fallen into an ice cellar. After a moment of silence, he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth:

”Come on! I’m not afraid of you! If you have the guts, then kill me!”

As soon as he finished speaking, an ice spike pierced through Colonel Shelby’s body.

Colonel Shelby appeared to be in great pain and ultimately died a miserable death, his eyes wide open, unwilling to close them in death! He was also extremely resentful!

”Nothing special.” Bai Xuan had sunk three warships in one go, and this was without even using his full strength.

This gave Bai Xuan a better understanding of the current strength of human weapons. The gap was getting smaller and smaller; it was now very difficult for humans to kill Bai Xuan, unless they used nuclear weapons.

But with Bai Xuan’s speed, it was still very easy to dodge them. However, if they were to deplete Bai Xuan’s spiritual energy by relying on sheer numbers, and then deliver a fatal blow, it was very possible to defeat him.

Suddenly, the sonic boom of fighter jets came from the distance, from both the left and right sides.

Bai Xuan looked closely and saw five fighter jets approaching: three Bear 35s from the Bear Country and two Wei Longs from the Dragon Country, all exceeding speeds of Mach 2!

”Forget it, of the thirty-six stratagems, fleeing is the best.”

Bai Xuan did not intend to engage them. If he got bogged down and reinforcements arrived, it would be quite troublesome.

Bai Xuan spread his wings and circulated his spiritual energy. His massive body shot straight into the clouds, his speed gradually climbing until it finally reached twice the speed of sound. He was flying at supersonic speeds, leaving a pale blue rainbow in the sky that could be seen even from the ground.

”This speed… it really is terrifying.” The pilot of the Wei Long fighter jet, witnessing this speed with his own eyes, was startled. Is this a speed that a flesh-and-blood body can achieve?

”Since it has run away, don’t continue to pursue it. Come back.”

The pilot heard his superior’s voice in his ear. Upon hearing this, the pilot turned around and flew towards the Dragon Country’s territory: ”Understood.”

The two Dragon Country Wei Long fighter jets left. The three Bear 35s from the Bear Country, after chasing for a while, also returned. They had come this time to rescue Colonel Shelby and his team.

But now, Colonel Shelby and his team had been completely wiped out. The Bear Country had suffered heavy losses and could do nothing about Bai Xuan. With his speed, defense, and attack power, even if they could kill him, the Bear Country would suffer heavy damage! There were other fierce beasts in other regions that needed to be dealt with.

After weighing the pros and cons, they ultimately chose to leave it alone for the time being!

…

Within the Dragon Country, in a military command room.

A middle-aged man wearing a camouflage military uniform, with a sturdy build, stood on the floor holding a thermos, looking at the large screen in front of him with a solemn gaze.

On the screen was the footage of Bai Xuan attacking the three warships! That terrifying combat power and size left everyone present dumbfounded and in disbelief, and they couldn’t help but exclaim in shock.

”Major General, the Bear Country side has also retreated.”

A cold, aloof woman wearing a military uniform stepped forward to report.

”Understood,” the Dragon Country Major General replied.

His gaze had been fixed on the video on the large screen from beginning to end.

Bai Xuan’s appearance made them feel a deep sense of crisis.

”I didn’t expect a Tier 4 fierce beast to appear so quickly.”

The Dragon Country Major General remained silent for a long time before letting out a helpless sigh.

There were countless mountains and forests within the Dragon Country, and a large number of fierce beasts, so it wasn’t very peaceful.

But it was still barely stable, with Soldier personnel guarding every area.

The current situation in the Dragon Country was still quite good compared to other countries.

They could afford food supplies and had mastered many resources, including spiritual energy resources, cultivating numerous spirit beasts to help humanity tide over the difficulties.

Spirit beasts, as the name suggests, are sentient creatures that are friendly to humans and become partners!

Fierce beasts, on the other hand, are sentient creatures that have strong hostility towards humans!

The most important thing now is to solve the problem of fierce beasts within the country! Controlling their numbers could also turn them into resources; after all, there are many treasures on these fierce beasts.

Their flesh and blood can improve a warrior’s physique, while their fur, claws, and teeth can be used to make various things, even weapons. The most valuable part is the demon core, which can be made into weapons! And store energy!

”The Frost Giant Eagle was originally highly gifted, even being called the pinnacle of the world’s fierce beasts. However, to have grown to this point in such a short time is truly terrifying!”

The cold, aloof woman remained silent for a moment before expressing her thoughts.

”Indeed, other fierce beasts have only just advanced to Tier 3, and the Frost Giant Eagle has already reached the Tier 4 level! It really is… terrifying.”

The Dragon Country Major General nodded slightly, agreeing with this statement.

Freezing the void is indeed terrifying! This is also the main reason why they call the Frost Giant Eagle a Tier 4 fierce beast! Tier 3s have absolutely no ability to resist in its hands!

”Then… should this information be uploaded to the Fierce Beast Ranking?” the cold, aloof woman asked.

Uploading the information will inevitably cause panic!

But other fierce beasts have all been uploaded; not uploading would seem like deliberately hiding the information.

”No rush, wait until the higher-ups have discussed it,” the Dragon Country Major General waved his hand gently.

The Dragon Country only dispatched the two Wei Long fighter jets because they received a request for support from the Bear Country. Otherwise, they would never have dispatched them; after all, this concerns the relationship between the two countries, as well as sovereignty issues!
