Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

58: Chapter 58 Song Qing’s Answer, Great White Shark”I recognize you, and I have also witnessed your strength.”

Song Qing felt uneasy, and its tone betrayed its nervousness.

But it still chose to tell the truth.

At the same time, its leaves rustled.

Song Qing had a wide field of vision and had seen the scene of Bai Xuan slaughtering the Wolf Clan; it was truly terrified, as the smell of blood could even reach this far, coupled with what it had heard from the Bear Clan’s conversation.

The Bear Clan had produced the alien Eagle King, the number one clan in this area, and becoming a subordinate to that Eagle King meant not only was there no resistance, but rather absolute obedience.

Precisely because of this, it was so nervous after seeing Bai Xuan.

”I see. Rest assured, I am not that kind of cruel and inhumane eagle. You are friends of Brother Hei, so naturally, I will not harm you, but... this is only on the condition that you do not provoke me.”

Bai Xuan did not forget to add that final sentence; this was not a threat, but a clarification to avoid them making an issue of it later and provoking him recklessly.

The probability of this happening was very small, but it was still better to make it clear.

”Thank you, Eagle King.” Song Qing and the other spirit trees breathed a sigh of relief. With Bai Xuan’s promise, they could feel more at ease.

And provoking Bai Xuan was impossible; even if they were given a hundred guts, they would not dare to do so.

”Alright, let’s not talk about this anymore.” Small Black laughed, ending the topic.

Constantly discussing this topic was not a solution, and it was a bit awkward.

”Brother Hei, you have now mastered the Fire Attribute, and this place does not seem very suitable for you. So, what are your plans for the future?”

Bai Xuan shifted the topic to Small Black. Transitioning was fine, but in the long run, it would not be conducive to Small Black’s growth, and the Fire Attribute would be buried as a result.

”This... I haven’t really thought about it.” Small Black sighed helplessly.

It also wanted to leave, but due to various reasons, it had to stay.

On one hand, Bai Xuan and Huzi were both living on this side; on the other hand, it really didn’t know where to go to survive, being unfamiliar with the place. Plus, with the current tense situation, staying in this area was safer.

”Xiao Bai, you know more things, could you help me think about where it would be better to go?” Small Black asked Bai Xuan for help, after all, it was Bai Xuan who brought them here.

”This... I haven’t thought of a suitable place for the time being, let’s wait a while longer.”

Other areas were too dangerous, and the situation was tense. If a behemoth like Small Black went there, it would be a miracle if it didn’t get blown to smithereens.

”Then let’s wait and see. Staying here is fine, after all, it is very safe here. It’s just that the Fire Attribute is temporarily affected, which is of no consequence. When I become stronger in the future, I will go find a place suitable for me to survive.”

Small Black cheered up; it was still quite open-minded.

”Well said. As long as you have sufficient strength, you can go anywhere, soar freely, and be unrestrained.” Bai Xuan laughed and agreed.

Just like that, Bai Xuan chatted with Small Black and the spirit trees for a while.

Afterwards, Bai Xuan said his goodbyes and left.

After some time, Bai Xuan flew at full speed and finally arrived at the eastern sea.

Along the way, he did not encounter any danger.

He also released his divine sense to perceive the areas he flew over, the number of fierce beasts, and whether they were strong or weak. The result was as expected: their strength was much weaker than the Bear Clan.

There were also clans with thousands of members, and without exception, they all had their own foraging territories. Their territorial awareness was strong, and many conflicts occurred.

However, after seeing Bai Xuan, without exception, they all trembled. The level suppression made them feel intense fear; they would either find a place to hide or run away, looking for a place to take cover.

Bai Xuan flew over their heads in the blink of an eye. Only then did they breathe a slight sigh of relief, but they still hid for a long time, and only dared to come out after realizing there was no danger.

”There really are a lot of fierce beasts in the sea.”

Bai Xuan used his divine sense to probe the sea in front of him. There were many fierce beasts, and deep under the sea, there was a behemoth. Bai Xuan guessed that the beast had already entered the Tier 3 level.

There was no human jurisdiction here, but that was to be expected. After all, with so many fierce beasts appearing in the sea, and even Tier 3 giant beasts, it was extremely dangerous, and the resources required to manage it would be immense.

”I don’t know what type of Tier 3 beast it is.”

Because that behemoth was in the deep sea, Bai Xuan could not detect what type of beast it was, only that it was huge and possessed Tier 3 status.

”Forget it, I’ll just go down and see.” Bai Xuan gave up on using his divine sense to continue probing. He acted immediately and dove directly into the seawater. The seawater was bone-chillingly cold.

However, it had no effect on Bai Xuan. With his Water Avoidance skill, plus the fact that he naturally possessed the Ice Attribute, he was very cold-resistant, or rather, it was compatible with his own attribute, so he was unaffected.

Suddenly, a Tier 2, Rank 8 Great White Shark, fifteen meters long, opened its blood-thirsty maw, revealing sharp teeth, and lunged at Bai Xuan with rocket-like speed, wanting to bite Bai Xuan to death in one go.

”Arrogant.” Bai Xuan unleashed an Ice Flying Blade, which formed a graceful arc in the sea. Wherever it passed, there were signs of freezing. It directly sliced the Great White Shark in half from head to tail, blood stained the surrounding seawater, and the smell of blood permeated the area.

Although the speed and damage of the Ice Flying Blade were affected in the sea, it was of no consequence.

As the saying goes, great strength creates miracles; as long as the power is great enough, even the ocean can be split open.

Bai Xuan swallowed the Great White Shark into his stomach, and the system’s voice followed:

[Devoured mutated Great White Shark, Tier 2, Rank 8, gained 900 evolution points.]

900 evolution points were a drop in the bucket for the next evolution.

Now, Sub-tier, Tier 1, and Tier 2 were no longer enough to satisfy Bai Xuan, but fortunately, the numbers were high. Accumulating little by little, spending more time, he could still raise his level.

Hopefully, these fierce beasts could grow faster and enter Tier 3 as soon as possible, so that he could gain more evolution points.

The Great White Shark’s blood attracted many fierce beasts, most of which were Great White Sharks. In less than a moment, over a hundred Great White Sharks were attracted. They surrounded Bai Xuan, eyeing him covetously, gnashing their teeth:

”It’s truly rare, a land beast has actually run into the sea.”

”It must be the one that killed our kin. How audacious; does it not know whose territory this is?”

”This guy’s strength is not weak. Maybe we should just forget it; there’s no need to provoke it and cause unnecessary casualties.”

”What are you afraid of? We are so numerous, do we still need to fear a tiny weakling like it? Daring to kill our kin and challenge our dignity, it must pay the price for its actions!”

”Brothers, stop wasting time talking to it. Let’s attack together and devour it. I have a premonition that eating it will be of great help to us!”

”Well said, let’s devour it! First come, first served! I’m going first!”
