Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

83: Chapter 83 Xiong Yan’s child, the resources handed over.”I am still 500,000 evolution points away from advancing to the fifth rank; the submitted spirit stones should be enough.”

Bai Xuan pondered. Currently, over a dozen large clans were collecting and submitting spirit stones for him. Once collected, he would be able to advance. If that really wasn’t enough, he could go to the sea to kill some ferocious beasts; he would definitely be able to gather those 500,000 evolution points.

Without further ado, Bai Xuan spread his wings and headed toward the nearest Savage Bear Clan.

After a while, Bai Xuan arrived at the territory of the Savage Bear Clan.

Within the clan, including Xiong Yan, there were already seven third-rank Savage Bears.

The number of second-rank ones had increased significantly. Living in this region, they lacked no resources and had no natural predators. They had consumed many natural treasures, and their levels were rising rapidly.

Upon seeing Bai Xuan’s arrival, they all respectfully called out: ”Greetings, Eagle King.”

Bai Xuan nodded slightly in response, then flew over them.

Relying on his divine sense, he made his way to the area where Xiong Yan was located.

At this moment, Xiong Yan was playing in the snow with his cubs.

These were his first batch of children. Unlike the previous Bear King, Xiong Yan did not monopolize many female bears; instead, he only had two female bears bearing cubs for him.

Upon seeing Bai Xuan arrive, Xiong Yan stopped, put away his joyful smile, and became respectful: ”Eagle King, you have come out of seclusion?”

Bai Xuan nodded slightly and then looked at the bear cubs hiding behind Xiong Yan. They seemed very afraid of Bai Xuan. However, that was understandable; even if Bai Xuan tried his best to restrain his aura, it was inevitable that a trace would still leak out.

One should not underestimate this trace of aura; for most ferocious beasts, it was a fatal blow. In their eyes, Bai Xuan’s strength was unfathomable and terrifying.

”Are these your children?” Bai Xuan smiled, looking at the five fluffy cubs. They were very cute and round, much like little balls.

”Reporting to the Eagle King, yes, these are my children; they are now three months old. They are a bit shy around strangers, so I ask for the Eagle King’s understanding.”

After speaking, Xiong Yan turned to look at the trembling cubs behind him and soothingly patted their heads: ”Why don’t you hurry up and greet the Eagle King?”

”Greetings, Eagle King.” The five bear cubs mimicked him and spoke timidly.

Bai Xuan could naturally see that they were afraid of him, so he appeared gentle and kind: ”Alright, you go play first; I have something to discuss with your father.”

”Go on, don’t run too far.” Xiong Yan let the bear cubs go play elsewhere, while not forgetting to add a reminder.

”Alright, then goodbye, Father, goodbye, Eagle King.” The cubs said in unison, and after speaking, they trotted off to play elsewhere.

This was the territory of the Savage Bear Clan, so there would be no danger. Even if there were, with Bai Xuan’s terrifying divine sense, he would be able to detect it immediately.

After the cubs left, Xiong Yan walked up to Bai Xuan: ”Eagle King, during the time you were in seclusion, more than a dozen clans traveled long distances to submit spirit stones, and I have stored them all in the cave one by one.”

The cave storing the spirit stones was guarded by three third-rank Savage Bears, and there were twenty or thirty second-rank ones as well. The security was tight, ensuring nothing would go wrong.

”You’ve worked hard.” Bai Xuan nodded slightly.

It was quite good to have them sent to the Savage Bears; it saved him from having to ask for them personally.

Afterward, Xiong Yan took Bai Xuan to retrieve the spirit stones. Upon arriving at the cave entrance, two third-rank Savage Bears pushed open the heavy stone door. Being rock-attribute ferocious beasts themselves, constructing such a heavy stone door was quite easy for them.

Xiong Yan led Bai Xuan into the cave. What met his eyes were dense piles of spirit stones, stacked like a mountain. The resources collected by over a dozen clans were naturally vast, and these resources were enough for Bai Xuan to advance to the fifth rank.

Xiong Yan introduced them one by one: ”These are the spirit stones sent by the Rat King, totaling one thousand Low-Grade Spirit Stones, thirty Mid-Grade Spirit Stones, and one high-grade spirit stone. These are the spirit stones sent by the Black Bear King, totaling one thousand five hundred Low-Grade Spirit Stones, twenty Mid-Grade Spirit Stones, and one high-grade spirit stone...”

”Finally, these are the spirit stones submitted by our clan, totaling one thousand five hundred Low-Grade Spirit Stones, fifty Mid-Grade Spirit Stones, and one high-grade spirit stone.”

Xiong Yan recorded all the submitted spirit stones. This was a massive sum; if converted into Dragon Kingdom currency, it would be an astronomical figure.

However, Xiong Yan dared not covet these resources. He knew that while Bai Xuan appeared amiable and gentle toward his subordinates, if he were to tamper with this matter, even if Xiong Yan had ten lives, he would undoubtedly die, and implicating the clan would be inevitable.

The entire clan might even be wiped out, and another clan would be supported to take their place here.

If you didn’t want to do it, there were plenty of other ferocious beasts who would. Xiong Yan had enough self-awareness not to get carried away and served Bai Xuan diligently.

He was able to do this precisely because he had seen Bai Xuan’s methods—when he said he would exterminate a clan, he would do it. Xiong Yan knew a little about the situation in the Siberia Region and felt both admiration and fear toward Bai Xuan’s methods.

”You have done well. This high-grade spirit stone is your reward.” Bai Xuan picked up a high-grade spirit stone and threw it to Xiong Yan.

For ferocious beasts that served him diligently, Bai Xuan was quite willing to provide resources for their cultivation. If you want a horse to run, you can’t deny it grass.

”This... I cannot accept it.” High-grade spirit stones were too precious. Xiong Yan held the high-grade spirit stone in both hands and returned it to Bai Xuan.

”If I tell you to take it, then take it; why so much nonsense?” After saying this, Bai Xuan proceeded to absorb the spirit stones into his mouth to store them, intending to find a suitable time to begin advancing to the fifth rank.

Advancing to the fifth rank would likely take quite some time. Bai Xuan needed to find a suitable time to advance to avoid any unexpected incidents during the process.

”Thank you, Eagle King.” After hesitating for a moment, Xiong Yan finally accepted the high-grade spirit stone.

He was currently at the third-rank, third-stage level and was cultivating quite quickly, and the high-grade spirit stone would be of no small help to him.

”By the way, Eagle King, during this time, we have also found quite a few natural treasures and rare flowers and plants. Would you like to go take a look?” Xiong Yan said, as if suddenly remembering something.

”Sure, take me to see them.” Bai Xuan nodded slightly.
