ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

So it can literally tank all of my attacks easily and not even flinch from it all.

However,

「Say, My Brother…… Aren’t you starting to sound kind of out of breath……?]

This here is the Northern part of the Sea of Trees area, located on the Eastern side of the New Continent. But at the same time, it is close to the frozen soil of the snowy lands just to the north of here. So wouldn’t it make sense for the Players to start feeling cold around here? To a certain degree that is indeed true, but the world view seems to be cold enough to make your breath white when you exhale.

But the same thing can be said for “Scarlet”. It was exhaling loads of white fog from its mouths, which was clearly showing the exhaustion of both of its HP and stamina alike. No, maybe not HP, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves here.

「Just for how many hours have we been fighting, huh? It might have been a High-Low battle for the most part, but it was certainly not an On-Off…… Besides, don’t you need tens of thousands of calories to maintain that huge body in top shape condition?]

This is really bad, normally, I would not have any problem with going for an overnight battle here and there, but this is an entirely different matter. There is no problem if it was against Crystal Scorpions, because there would be food to find literally everywhere. But I highly doubt that the big monsters of Sigmonia Battlefront Valley for example need to eat in the first place (because they specialize in combat, even their mouths).

But what about you, Drakarus Dinocerberus-san? “Scarlet”-san? Is having such a giant body efficient food-wise? How many apples do you need to devour in order to get back to full power? And how regularly?

「Fasting! Despair! Be surprised and go extinct from hunger!]

It was at that exact time.

─── It guess that it could be described as a pure and simple harassment.

That Player had nothing to do with the Masked Player that they could now see at the end of their line of sight, from the safety of their own hiding place.

That Player had nothing to do with the terrifying scarlet three-headed dinosaur that they could see at the end of their line of sight, peeking at it from the safety of their hiding place and feeling out of breath.

However, even though the fish-headed Player had no idea who they were, they knew exactly who the fish-headed Player was. And it was precisely because of that fact that they have chosen the way of sabotage rather than the way of assistance.

「Hmm…… I guess that it would be too much of a stretch to call it a coincidence. But on the other hand, such coincidences DO end up happening sometimes, right?]

Its not like they were actually holding a grudge or anything like that. However, there is something really unpleasant about that Player so targeting him was actually a means of obtaining much needed relief.

Even though more and more Players were coming to the New Continent these days, only a select few of them knows about the Rare Monster known as “Scarlet”, and even fewer of those had the bad luck of actually encountering one in its natural habitat. Also, there is a need to confront reality when it comes to this specific monster, which is: “It’s impossible to think that you are going to be able to defeat it all by yourself, even if you try really hard to do it”. That is a mindset that the Players who would want to defeat it one of those days would have to constantly remind themselves of. But even so, such selfishness and irresponsible behavior is completely allowed here, because this is just a game. You might even want to call this a harassment, but it was still okay. Because here it was just a game.

However, because some people tend to be irresponsible and unreserved in their actions, they would be unable to deal with extreme external threats, such as Player Killers who do not play by the rules and only care about themselves in everything they do.

But at the end of the day, this type of harassment is even more vicious than any other Player Kill out there. Not that it hurts anyone in particular, but it is still extremely vicious in the end.

「AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! I! AM! SO! SO! SOOOOOORRRRRRYYYYYY!!!!!!]

So what they did here was extremely simple. They have collected all of the aggro of the nearby monsters and they were now intent to pit them against the other Players…… In other words, it is an act called a Monster Train that takes the monsters and treats them as if they were one huge interconnected entity in the first place.

Now, if you bring a large number of monsters to the battlefield that was made in such a way that there is hardly even any room for you to move around on it, there is no way in hell that any Player would be able to survive something like that.

Hehehe, serves you right! It was that kind of frustration as if you were seeing your younger colleague at work going to badmouth you to your boss or to tell him all of the secrets that you have spilled out during a drinking party together. And that is to say the least. If there was ever a thing in this world that could be called the greatest mistake ever, it would surely be thinking that everything is always going to go exactly according to your plan and in the precise way that you want it to go.

Also, none of them managed to notice something really important.

This monster right here that was fighting with ferocity unlike of which no one has ever seen before, might had the same physique, the same physical structure, and was even of the same race…… but even though they were completely different in terms of how they were in reality and inside of the game, they had one crucial thing in common. And that is……

And that this is…… Both of them were really, really hungry at the current moment.
