ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

From the moment when the battle between the Tri-Headed Tyranno and myself started…… About five hours have already passed? Or was it maybe six hours? Honestly, as the actions and time passed blended together it was increasingly hard for me to be able to tell the difference.

But more importantly, things were still far away from being settled.

「Daaahhhhhh!!! I have been hitting you and hitting you, and you are not flinching! Even a little bit! What the hell is wrong with you!? Why won’t you die!?]

“Scarlet” turned out to really be a tough opponent. The toughest there is, actually, but in the Stamina department and raw Vitality stat. During this battle I have been juggling between different weapons from my inventory, and at the current moment the vast majority of them were on the brink of being broken as a result of that. This has led to a situation where at the current moment we were just playing a game of trying to drag one another through the mud.

「Fuh!!]

Using the long sword Esca—Valach I was able to scrape some of its scales here and there, but I could never do any serious damage because of the need to fall back and evade before it would launch its next counterattack my way. Right after that, there is a trembling all throughout my body due to the explosive attack coming from Tri-Headed Tyranno again…… But fortunately that attack misses me completely, destroying the space where I was standing just a second before.

Since this monster has hours upon hours of fighting under its belt…… No, that’s not it. Since it has managed to defeat many challengers throughout the duration of its life, it is bound to have learned some Anti-Human tactics, even though its AI is primarily that of a reptile. Indeed, the sheer imposition of a simple and extremely physical disparity between this monster and humans is so god damn effective that it actually makes me want to laugh.

「Kuh!]

The central head of “Scarlet” continues to spit out the flammable mucous mass at its feet. What am I supposed to do about it? Should I try to remove it in some way? No, what I need to do here is to adapt a pretty “villainous” tactic…… Namely, avoid it at all cost!

The muscles all over the “Scarlet’s” body swelled as it made a full turn on the spot that made its whole body squeak out loud. The mucus shoots out of its mouth, and parts of it that were already on the ground gets thrown in the air by the swings of its tail as well! It looks as though its tail is trying to scoop it out of the ground, but it is still so sticky……!!

THWACK!!!

「DAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!]

This is the method of igniting the napalm that the Tri-Headed Tyranno was not using during the time of the fight with the Great Red Devourer. I wonder if there is some reason behind that? But anyways, it’s a pretty villainous tactic in its own right! Igniting the napalm that is scattered all over the ground and then spreading it using the swings of your tail like that! And once that flame goes ablaze, there is no way that it is going to disappear anytime soon!

The lumps of ignited mucus is converted into a flame, and the generated flame further serves as a starter that burns the mucus scattered all over the area, causing the “shotgun”-like spread of burning napalm to be scattered around even further. This leads to some very nasty type of attack that also denies the Player a space where they can move around safely, something that I am not all that huge of a fan. Now, faced with a problem like this, I’m going to be forced to run out of my thought acceleration skills really quickly.

Not to even mention the fact that I have lost my Black Thunder, the only tool that was able to let my body catch up to the increased speed of my thoughts! Does that mean that I will have no choice but to break out the Storm Emperor’s Trace Idea-Gatreo / Extreme Superior here!!?? It’s going to be risky, but it should get the job done!

This twisting tornado rotating device has the same effect as my Black Lightning, but comes with two types of acceleration that is really difficult to control properly.

The unique method of acceleration here is strictly tied to the accelerating from the circumferential orbit corresponding to the foot with which you are making a step after activating the effect of the accessory. It is centered in the opposite direction to the skirt-like acceleration of stepping foot, and if you wish to correct the acceleration in the opposite direction you need to use the other foot to make a step. So there you have it: two types of acceleration, which make this thing really difficult to control properly.

At the very least, it is extremely unlikely that an accidental explosion will occur in here due to a misjudgment. All thanks to the effect of the skill Eternal Eye “Chronostakisia”. But there is no use to think about avoiding napalm shotgun shots in any other way, because they are approaching me at the speed of human walking in a very slow slow motion at the current moment.

「Guh, oooooohhhhh!!! My shoulders! It burns!!!]

But that’s about it when it comes to a reaction that you will get from me. There, I smash an HP Recovery potion against my shoulder and just like that I am done with it.

The pain of the glass pieces penetrating my skin and sticking to it actually feels very gentle and it could be described as getting a good shoulder massage. By someone who only knows how to give foot massages and is not doing a very good job at it. It is a really uncomfortable feeling, but fortunately enough it does not last all that long. A few seconds pass and the annoying sensation is nothing more but an unpleasant memory.

While I am almost scraping the ground with my body, I stand up from almost a prone, in the manner really similar to breakdancing all the while using my newly acquired accelerated rotation.

「Hah!]

I then hold the Aerial PD firm in my hand and fire away. However, whether it is a wild intuition or just a coincidence, the “Scarlet” is hit in what seems to be the toughest and hardest part of its entire body…… That is, the head with its thick skull catches the bullet and repels it without any major problem.

「……………]

「GARORORORORORORORORO……!!!]

Right about now, this battle seems more like a Thug-of-War rather than a game of chess or anything of the sort.

And thanks to a huge arsenal of almost three digits numbers of HP Recovery Items, there is no way that I am going to die in here under any normal circumstances. But on the other hand, my opponent possesses incredible toughness and Vitality to its name, so I guess that this kind of balances itself out.
