「Blacksmith」 Blacksmith General Message Board Part 302 「Weapons and Armor」

「175: Imron」

I know that this might be sudden, but I come bearing three bombshell information to you all!

「176: Bernhard」

I wonder if you were to just stack bombs on top of one another, would you eventually be able to create a nuclear bomb?

「177: Osiger Toothy」

Wouldn’t that be closer to a cluster bomb if you were to just stack them on top of one another? But in all seriousness, let’s just burn that damned Sea of Trees to the ground!

「178: Wild Hunt」

What’s this? Our Big Sis is finally becoming interested in bomb creation? Never would have seen that one coming.

「179: Bill Diane」

If our Big Sis is talking about bombshells and such, then this means that it must be something really serious.

「180: Imron」

Alright then, let’s start from the first one, shall we?

We have managed to finally identify the materials that are going to be needed in order to strengthen the Heroic Weapons.

Also, even though the material itself is a little bit special in its nature, it is not limited to strengthening the Heroic Weapons only. It can also be used in the process of creating ordinary equipment using ordinary blacksmithing techniques.

And the source of this information is none other than the King of the Miner Dwarves himself.

「181: Bernhard」

Uwah, I guess that the era of bombs comes in with a bang. Quite literally.

「182: Trimomo」

Say what now!?

「183: Wild Hunt」

You managed to get in touch with the Miner Dwarves!? Seriously!? How!?

「184: Zamper」

So I guess that the era of bombs is going to be over as soon as it started, huh?

「185: Imron」

Now, keep in mind that at the moment I am only making armor with that new material, but the item that you need for its creation and strengthening is called “Golden Magma”.

「186: Chapack」

It would seem to me that our Big Sis must have reached that dark point in her gaming career that she decided to just brave through the dangers and go for it…… But where exactly you can find those Miner Dwarves? It’s supposedly somewhere on the west side of the New Continent, am I right? Near the village of the Lizardfolk, if I’m not mistaken?

「187: Iron Iron Renshi」

Golden Magma, huh? Somehow, just hearing that name makes me imagine something really ugly.

「188: Homme Retsu」

Is no one going to make a comment on that second picture that Big Sis Posted just now? The one with some mysterious figure just casually flying through the air while carrying a golden bucket in their hand? Seriously? No one……?

「189: Zamper」

And you seriously need to ask? Dude, there is only one Player in this game who would be crazy enough to just jump in the air over a magma pool with a bucket in their hand.

「190: Zenichi」

Anyways, I can see that Tsuchinoko-san is as reliable of a character as ever.

「191: Builder Ann」

And what’s this? Getting all buddy-buddy with Tsuchinoko-san right there? What’s the big deal? Does having him in the party give all of its members a permanent boost to Agility or something like that? Please share it with us!

「192: Imron」

The second piece of information is an image of a guy who managed to scoop up a bucket-load of Golden Magma and live to tell the tale purely by virtue of having a Conquest Doll with him on site. It just flew over to him and picked him up, returning him to safety. And how did he get there in the first place? He used high velocity aerial dash and swung the bucket at the critical point. All the while the holder of the Heroic Weapon was making some sort of preparations with her armor.

「193: Trimomo」

I keep on reading your posts, but I am positive that I have no idea what you are talking about.

「194: Iron Iron Renshi」

Ah, but then…… What about trying to obtain that “Golden Magma” material via normal means? Can it be done?

「195: Imron」

As far as I am aware of, when scooping up the magma, you need to use a special bucket, or at the very least one that is specially reinforced. If you try to use a normal one, the Golden Magma’s heat is just going to melt it away in no time.

So apparently, this here Golden Bucket is one of such items that can serve as Golden Magma’s containers? But I can’t be too sure.

「196: Zamper」

Big Sis, if there is something you don’t know or are not sure of, then how could WE possibly know if it’s right or wrong?

「197: Bill Diane」

You said that you have three bombshells to deliver right now. This is only the first one. Then what about the other two?

「198: Homme Retsu」

But I wonder…… Is that really an all-purpose material? Like, can you really use it in normal item creation? Because it really sounds like someone you would use exclusively in Heroic Weapons and Armor creation.

「199: Zenichi」

Does that mean that soon there will come a time when the weapons that do not utilize Golden Magma as a strengthening material are going to lose their human rights? Because that would be just sad.

「200: Dam D」

But what exactly is that Golden Magma thing? Is it something ore-based? Like, it was cooled down and it hardened as a result? Or is it something else entirely? Because there are weapons and armor out there that use non-metal components for their strengthening. So it would be a waste to try and obtain that Golden Magma for those.

「201: Shummel」

Is it just me, or is Tsuchinoko-san basically one huge violation of every possible human right in this game?

「202: Wild Hunt」

No, I mean, I get it. I really do. Sometimes you just have one of those days where instead of sharpening your stats to their maximum limits you just want to train your Fire Resistance, you know?

「203: Chapack」

What you would need to do in order to obtain that Title of “Maximum Speed”? Because I kind of think that this has nothing to do with Agility correction. I think it’s more about the Maximum Weight and Equipment Weight reduction. So I guess that as a blacksmith, there is quite literally nothing that we can do about it.

「204: Imron」

Now onto the second major information:

We have also managed to discover a conversion facility in the underground city of the Miner Dwarves. And right after making that discovery, I used that facility and changed my race to that of a Miner Dwarf.

「205: Bill Diane」

How would you even go about processing the magma? Does anyone have any ideas?」
