ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

However, it can be deceived and become less effective once it manages to lose sight of its target, so the strategy in here is as follows: first you basically play tag with the Agent Tester until all the designated targets are being taken care of, and once that is out of the way, you can finally get to deal with the Agent Tester itself!

「Alright! And there we have it! Number Four spotted!!]

The heads of the target decoys have strange shape, one that basically is eluding my understanding as well. But hey, I don’t really need to understand the shape of the target to shoot it, right? So I do just that. And sure enough, the bullet passes through its designated mark with ease. Don’t underestimate my shooting skills, after all I am a veteran from the Deserted Island, a Nephilim pilot, as well as the Bakumatsu Period fighter. So shooting guns while running is nothing else but natural for me.

Now, as for the Exam Area itself…… Although it resembles the maze of the first layer of the Leviathan, it is a field where the width of the road is way wider than that of the first layer. But even so, right now even I have quite the difficulty with continuous acceleration while correcting my position with the reverse motions from time to time. But even when we take that into account, overall maneuvering through this maze was not causing me that much of a problem. It is also a great help that the Agent Tester can only accelerate enough to barely keep up with me, and when it swings at me it actually slows down a little bit, which makes evading its attacks way easier.

In other words, it would seem that our dear ancestors tried to chase two hares at once in the past and failed miserably at that. However, the same thing is no longer a problem for me! For you see, I can quite easily chase two hares at once, and I am more than sure that I can catch them without even breaking a sweat!

「Alright! And that’s the sixth one!]

Now that that’s taken care of, where is the seventh one!? You can run from me, but you cannot hide! Oh well, it’s not like it can hide from me for all eternity. For now, let’s just take care of that annoying Agent Tester and be done with it. There! That’s a mighty slash with Esca-Valach, and what comes right after that…… Yes, the Magical Power accumulated in the sword is transferred to the gun I was carrying with me! The strongest combo, if I do say so myself! With any other gun it would have had little meaning for long-term operations, but with this provisional Guacamole…… Now that’s an entirely different story!!!

「Oh yes! Found you! The seventh one!!!]

So, where was it located? It happened to have been installed right on top of the moving aerial scaffolding above our heads, and as a matter of fact it is a place where you would have a really hard time aiming at with just a handgun alone…… But alright! Here goes nothing! Skill activation! Let’s make some aerial jumps while also accelerate my movements, take aim at the target…… And fire!

「Nice! That takes care of the sub target! The only thing right now is to take care of that nasty Agent Tester!]

It’s way faster to just smash it with a sword because it’s a joint that has a strong appeal of having structural weaknesses, but this is just a Special License Exam for Special-Purpose Devices. And honestly, it wouldn’t be that much of a problem if I was to redo it, but if I can help it I would rather not do it. Especially since I have to think about Guacamole maintenance and ammunition.

「Eat this! Gun Punch!!!]

Press the enemy! Close the distance! And then destroy it without any remorse! Any guan can guarantee you a clean hit when you use it at a point-blank range!

The bullets, or rather the bullet-like strikes crush the Agent Tester’s right front leg and shoulder joint and physically cuts off about one fourth of its overall mobility.

「Dempsey shooting! Uppercut shooting! Don’t move! Stun forehead Flick repeated hits!!!]

I’m not the one who is going to let the enemy get ready for a counterattack. So right this instant I strike two more times to destroy its soft joints and make it pretty much defenseless!

GASHA!!!

「Hmm?]

…

………

……………

Approximately one hour after Yashiro Bird has left.

「CONGRATULATIONS! THIS TIME AREOUND, YOU HAVE MANAGED TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS THE CERTIFICATION EXAM FOR THE SPECIAL SERVICE LICENSE WEAPONS!]

「Ohh, yeah, I…… I guess I did…… Hooray.]

I haven’t heard anything about there being Agent Testers (Plural)…… No way, it was said that the maximum number of decoys will be seven in conjunction with the number of decoys destroyed! Nobody told me about this!

But hey, a win is a win, I guess. And the proof of that fact is this SP Duty line of equipment that was lined up in front of me right now. And to be even more specific, the Guacamole “Aerial PD” that rests in my hands right now, putting a pleasant weight on them.

By the way, this “PD” is an abbreviation of the “Pile Driver” term, and this name comes from the fact that the technique that finally defeated the last Testing Agent was a Pile Driver that managed to clutch it in the air. Great work out there, agent! I originally wanted to defeat it in some other way, but when riding a tide, you just go wherever it takes you, you know?
