ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「Seriously now, when you start thinking about those things, it’s really hard to decide what needs to be tackled first, huh? In times like these, the best thing you can possibly do is to just do something completely different from what was expected.]

「I understand that feeling way too well, believe me…… When I am faced with troublesome meetings, I often resolve the situation by running away to do other tasks, instead.]

「Heey, is your company actually okay there? Mister Company President?]

「My name is Yashiro Bird, thank you very little. And in here I am but a normal Pioneer, just like the rest of the Players in this game.]

GACHAKON! GASHAN! WRRRR!!!

「Sure, sure, whatever you say, I guess…… Hey, Yashiro Bird? This Bullet Speed thingy that either increases or decreases it from the minimum initial value? What percentage should be ideal to set in here?]

「For a weapon that is basically a handgun? If you just want to increase its speed, seventy six percent would be best. But if you want to have room for some extra tweaking in the future, I would recommend about one hundred thirteen percent. If you set it up even more it’s going to be lagging behind and you wouldn’t really see any noticeable difference.]

GACHAKON! PIP! PIP, PIP, PIP! PIP! WRRRRR!!! GASHUN!!!

「Nah, what I’m trying to do here is to create a dual wielding pistols. But I want to have a twist in here: I want each of the pistols to be different slightly. One of them is going to be a revolver, while the other one is going to be capable of rapid firing continuously.]

「Full auto, huh? Well, in the first place, in this game the compatibility between handguns and full auto is not all that good, but…… Do you wish to make a paint bullet shooter?]

「Don’t you mean a peashooter? But no, thinking about crushing the opponent’s sense of smell and sight, maybe it wouldn’t be all that bad……?]

「Actually, since you can assign the bullet type for every single magazine out there, the Pre-Recharged Magazine Separation Type is more applicable here than the Magazine-Integrated Magic Reload Type.]

「Hmm, you won’t say?]

GASHUN! GASHUN! GASHUN! VRRRRRRRRR!!! VRRRRRRRRR!!!

「And with that being said, this thing is now pretty much completed. It’s the Second Type of Tori-san Mark Series Cluster Smoke Grenade Launcher dubbed “Fog Rosso”.]

「Are you sure that this thing does not actually violates a couple of different treaties out there?]

「No, no, no, not at all! It’s a mere Cluster-Type Smoke Grenade, so it’s harmless and non-lethal.]

「Dude, it’s a widespread indiscriminate killing weapon. And just by changing its component from smoke to gas you can make it even more lethal……]

「This game can be really abnormal at times, you know? But basically, you can use it only once or twice, so it’s relatively safe to use.]

「Could you please not interpret the range of attack expansion from an individual’s point of view?]

CHIKIKIKIKI!! KACHING! KACHI!! PSHSHSHSH!!! PSHSHSHSH!!! PSHSHSHSH!!! PI–––N! PO––––––N!!!

「Hooray! It’s ready!]

「Oh, so you are finally done with this one, huh? And here I thought that I would have to handle you some blueprints so that you wouldn’t have to take forever with it. Glad to hear it was not necessary.]

「No, I appreciate the thought, but what I am currently looking for is not actually a mighty deciding firepower. So this is fine for now. As for the name of this thing…… It’s Hey! Yo! Gammania! Pretty cool of a name if I do say so myself, wouldn’t you agree?]

「And why would you even bother with coming up with such a weirdly unique name for a weapon like that? Couldn’t you use the manufacturer’s name instead? Like, I don’t know, everyone else does? Hell, even Something-Something 100 would have been better than that.]

「Hey, Sanraku! How about twenty five? What do you say to that?]

「And why twenty five, of all things? And what does that mean?]

「The number of magazines loaded onto your weapon.]

「Shit, this seems relatively cheap. Twenty five points. Hey, “Brave Fish”? What’s the big deal here?]

「IT’S ABOUT THE EXPLOSION IMPACT WARHEAD KNOCKBACK BULLET MOUNTED TYPE. IT IS CHARACTERISED BY SMALL FIREPOWER, IS CAPABLE OF AUTOMATIC RAPID FIRE AS WELL AS SINGLE SHOTS….. FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, THE BEST ATTACHMENT I CAN POSSIBLY RECOMMEND HERE IS FF ‘FLICK FINGER .45’]

「Flick Finger?]

「Yes, Flick Finger. As in, the Forehead Flick Flick Finger.]

「…… Doesn’t that make this thing to be pretty good?]

「Oh? Someone in here seems to be interested in it all of a sudden……]

* * *

As for me, at the current moment I decided to throw everything else to the side as I completely devoted myself to creating my own guns on board of the Leviathan. And I must say, creating the new guns surely is a whole lot of fun, but it is also a real drag to strengthen your creation the right way and make it exactly what you want it to be……

And, as you would have expected, Yashiro Bird was also right here, creating guns of his own. He was also delighted when he heard that I was interested in it as well, and he even went as far as to offer me advice on the pieces I was currently trying to develop. As for Yashiro Bird himself, so far he managed to create one completely new model of a gun, and other that seemed to be just a reinforced version of the already existing gun. One of them was that Forehead Flick Caliber .45, and the other one was……

「Wouldn’t it be better to just create a completely new gun from scratch? The way this thing is right now, I get a feeling that it won’t be that strong, even when it comes to Player Versus Player battles.]

「You see, it’s a personal rule of mine. If there is an avocado that would be abandoned by one hundred people of so, then I am going to be the one who is going to stay by its side and do everything in my power to make it work.]

Yes, that’s right. This Leviathan right here is the first ever facility where the Players, or modern human being of this game managed to make contact with genuine firearms. The first layer of Leviathan, to be exact. And yet…… It is really regrettable that the weapons available on this particular layer are not all that powerful to begin with. For example, even if you were to score a direct hit into a person’s forehead with it, it would still be unable to kill them. That is basically what the “Civillian-Type” of firearms are. And because of that, the Players started to ridicule them as the “Vegetable Series” instead. And one of such things was this here Aguacarte, otherwise dubbed as “Avocado”.
