Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong saw Wang Guihua approaching with her eyes closed and not saying a word, he was stunned. Is she taking advantage of this private moment to sneak up on me? Does she plan to hug me, then kiss me, and finally take me to a hotel…?

So, as Wang Guihua walked toward him with her eyes still shut, he closed his own, opened his arms wide, and puckered his lips. Just as his lips were about to touch hers, Wang Guihua suddenly pushed him away. ”Brother Zhao Rong, what are you doing?”

Startled out of his fantasy of a passionate kiss, Zhao Rong opened his eyes. He stared at her, perplexed. ”Wang Guihua, you were walking toward me with your eyes closed. Weren’t you preparing for a kiss?”

Rubbing her eyes, Wang Guihua replied, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re so naughty. A little bug flew into my eye, that’s why I had them closed.”

When Zhao Rong realized she had approached him because of an insect in her eye and not for a passionate kiss, he said awkwardly, ”Oh, sorry. I misunderstood.”

But just as he apologized, Wang Guihua started rubbing her eye again and said coquettishly, ”Well, since there’s a bug in my eye, aren’t you going to come over and help me with it?”

Zhao Rong walked over, a little dazed. His gaze fell on her sexy figure and the deep cleavage of her dress, and he gulped. ”Wang Guihua, open your eye. I’ll blow on it and get the bug out.”

At his words, Wang Guihua lifted her head, aligning her face with his. But just as he leaned in to blow the speck from her eye, she suddenly threw her arms around his neck and pressed her lips to his. The two were instantly lost in a passionate, unrestrained, and utterly reckless kiss.

Their kiss lasted for a full ten minutes before they finally, slowly, pulled apart.

Wang Guihua’s chest heaved as she struggled for breath. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she panted, ”your kissing is incredible. It’s to die for.”

Zhao Rong, however, just rubbed his lips, which were aching from her bites. He chuckled. ”You’re the first girl who’s ever praised my kissing skills so highly.”

Feeling almost dizzy with bliss, Wang Guihua said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you don’t understand. In my entire life, I, Wang Guihua, have never had feelings for any man, let alone kissed one. You are the first man I have ever liked, and the first man I have ever kissed in my twenty-some years.”

Hearing her confession, Zhao Rong felt a surge of pride. ”I’m honored to be the man you like, and the one you kissed.”

Wang Guihua suddenly looked at him with deep meaning. ”Brother Zhao Rong, those three conditions I gave you... it seems you’ve completed all of them.”

He thought for a moment. ”The first task, as I recall, was to deal with Su Jintao.”

Wang Guihua nodded, her eyes sparkling. ”Yes! And you didn’t just deal with him; you got him sent to the police station.”

”The second task,” Zhao Rong continued, ”was to catch the Rainy Night Killer.”

”And you did more than catch him,” she said, her voice full of admiration. ”You beat him soundly before sending him off to prison.”

”And the third task was to find the university students who went missing.”

Looking up at him with reverence, she said, ”You found those students, brought them out safely, and returned them to their parents unharmed.”

Zhao Rong smiled. ”It looks like I’ve perfectly completed the three tasks you gave me, one hundred percent.” After a beat, he added with a grin, ”And I remember you said that if I completed all three tasks, you would not only agree to be my girlfriend, but you’d also... share a bed with me.”

Wang Guihua blushed. ”Actually... I left one thing out.”

”Oh?” Zhao Rong said mischievously. ”Are you planning to bear my children, too?”

She gave his chest a light slap. ”You’re terrible! What I forgot to say was that our Women’s University has a rule: whoever completes those three difficult tasks becomes the next president of the university.”

Zhao Rong was dumbfounded. ”So, you’re not only agreeing to be my girlfriend and share a bed with me, but I also get to be the new president of the Women’s University?”

Wang Guihua rushed into his arms. ”Yes, Brother Zhao Rong,” she said shyly. ”From now on, I’m your girlfriend. And I’m going to call a meeting for all the teachers and students to announce you as our new president!”

Realizing he had not only won over Wang Guihua but had also become the university president by a twist of fate, Zhao Rong scratched the back of his head, feeling overwhelmed. ”I never thought I’d become the president of the Women’s University...”

His mind drifted back over his journey, reflecting on how he had risen through the ranks, step by step, to become the leader of so many schools and sects. When he first joined the True Martial Sect, it took him only three months to become the Sect Leader. After enrolling at Xi Jing University, he became its president in two months. Then, at the Ghost Hunting Academy, he was appointed dean in just one month. Later, at the Sports Academy, he accomplished the same feat in about two weeks. And now, at the Women’s University, it had taken him less than a week to become president.

Even he couldn’t help but admire his own progress. ”I used to be so insecure,” he murmured. ”But ever since I transmigrated to this parallel world from Earth, for some reason, I’ve just been climbing higher and higher, constantly creating miracles.”

Hearing him, Wang Guihua pressed her cheek against his chest. ”Brother, I can tell you why you’ve been so successful.”

Eager to know, Zhao Rong looked down at the beautiful, fair-skinned woman in his arms. ”I really want to know. Please, tell me.”

After a moment’s thought, Wang Guihua said simply, ”It’s because you’re a good and kind person, Brother Zhao Rong. Your character is exceptionally noble. That’s why you’ve been able to overcome every obstacle and succeed.”

Her words resonated with him. He felt it was true; his luck had been extraordinary, almost as if he had heaven’s favor. Feeling inspired, he said, ”It seems the best way to live is to be an honest, good person who helps others. You shouldn’t be afraid of being taken advantage of, because heaven will make it up to you. You should strive to be useful to society, to spread positive energy, and to be a force for good in the world.”

Listening to him, Wang Guihua was completely captivated. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she said, her voice full of awe, ”only a man as exceptional as you could speak such profound truths about life.”

Zhao Rong hugged Wang Guihua tightly, but a flicker of doubt crossed his mind. ”Wang Guihua,” he said, ”even though you’ve agreed to be my girlfriend... you know I’m the bodyguard for Miss Lili, beautiful Yu Lan, and Xue Lianmei. Those three are all secretly in love with me. It’s possible that one day, they might become my girlfriends too. Does that not bother you?”

Wang Guihua shook her head without a hint of jealousy. ”I don’t mind at all, Brother Zhao Rong. Women everywhere love outstanding men like you. Besides, men of your caliber are as rare as a phoenix’s feather or a unicorn’s horn. It’s only natural that other women would fall for you too.”

He was still skeptical. ”You really don’t mind?”

She nodded with firm conviction. ”Honestly, from the moment you arrived at our university with those three, I could tell that Miss Lili, Yu Lan, and Xue Lianmei were all deeply in love with you and wanted to be your girlfriends. I knew all of that, but I still wanted you. I believe a man as exceptional as you deserves to have all of us. We are all willing to be your fans, your followers... your backup options.”

Her words moved him deeply. If only I could use the Art of Clone, I’d make three copies of myself and marry all four of them on the spot.

But just as he was lost in this fantasy, holding Wang Guihua tightly, a shrill, piercing voice cut through the air from nearby.

”Brother Zhao Rong! How could you sneak around behind Miss Lili’s back and flirt with other women?”

”Brother Zhao Rong, how could you ignore how much I, Yu Lan, like you, and just hug some random woman out here?”

Xue Lianmei, however, went a step further. She whipped a can of pepper spray out of her pocket and charged forward, already spraying it as she shrieked, ”In this world, if any woman dares to compete with me, Xue Lianmei, for Brother Zhao Rong’s affection, I’ll spray her to death!”
