Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

However, when Zhao Rong and his group rushed into the basement, they were blocked by a large iron door. He looked at it, frowned, and said, ”Damn it! We just blew up a concrete wall, and now there’s a huge iron door?”

Before he could finish, a voice came from a loudspeaker on the door. ”Kid, you think just because you blew up that concrete wall, you can blow up my iron door, too?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong was stunned. He looked up at the pitch-black space around him and asked in surprise, ”Who’s talking?”

The voice continued, ”I am the robot in charge of guarding this iron door.”

Hearing that a robot was speaking to him, Zhao Rong said curiously, ”Damn it. This rundown place actually has a robot?”

The assistant standing behind him speculated, ”Could the Rainy Night Killer have bought this robot online? Maybe he installed it here to guard the kidnapped people.”

At this, the robot spoke again. ”You people are so shortsighted, only knowing how to buy things online. Let me tell you, the Rainy Night Killer bought me from the Island Country.”

When Zhao Rong heard that the robot hidden behind the iron door was from the Island Country, he immediately questioned it. ”Damn it, since you’re a robot from the Island Country, that makes you half an Islander, doesn’t it?”

The robot laughed, looking down on Zhao Rong. ”I can tell you that when I was manufactured, I was implanted with the genes of an Island Country person. Therefore, I’m not just a robot; I am one hundred percent an Island Country person.”

When Zhao Rong heard the robot’s claim, he gritted his teeth in anger. ”I’ve hated people from the Island Country my entire life. Since that’s what you are, just you wait. After I blow this door open, I’m coming in to kill you.”

The assistant behind Zhao Rong, equally enraged, added, ”Everyone from the Island Country must die by my sword! Even if you’re a robot, don’t think you can escape my grand sword!” With that, the assistant pulled a large sword from his waist.

When the people around saw him draw a sword, they asked curiously, ”Assistant, we’ve never seen you carry a sword before. Where did you get that grand sword?”

The assistant chuckled. ”Where else? I bought it online, of course.”

Before the assistant could finish, the robot behind the iron door resumed its mockery of the group. ”You Chinese people are nothing but the sick men of East Asia. I don’t just look down on you; I despise you.”

Hearing the robot’s arrogance, Zhao Rong reached into his pocket. ”You Island Country robot, just you wait. I’m going to blow this door open right now, and when I get in, I’ll chop you into a million pieces.”

The Island Country robot scoffed, undeterred. ”The concrete wall you opened was built by you Chinese people. It was hardly sturdy. This iron door, however, was meticulously crafted by us, the people of the Island Country, over eighty-one days using Meteorite Iron that fell from the sky. It’s an iron gate that ordinary people could never hope to open.”

When Lili saw Zhao Rong fumbling in his pocket, she said to him, ”Zhao Rong, I remember you only bought one box of those matchstick detonators on Paradise Shopping Cart, right?”

Xuelian, too, thought he had bought too little. ”You really should have bought two boxes,” she said with regret.

But before she could finish, Zhao Rong pulled a box of matchstick detonators from his pocket. ”I forgot to tell you. The ones I bought online were a buy-one-get-one-free deal.”

Following the instructions, Zhao Rong stuck a detonator to the iron door every ten centimeters until the entire surface was covered.

The robot continued its arrogant taunts. ”You Chinese people think you can blow open an iron door made by the Island Country with such tiny detonators? You must be daydreaming.”

Facing the robot’s mockery, Zhao Rong replied coldly, ”Since you don’t believe our matchstick detonators can open your iron door, just you wait and see.”

The robot was adamant, refusing to believe that the so-called matchstick detonators Zhao Rong had bought on Paradise Shopping Cart could possibly breach the Meteorite Iron door so carefully constructed by people from the Island Country. So, it made a bold claim, ”If you few Chinese people can actually blow open this iron door, then I, an Island Country robot, will call you my grandfathers.”

Zhao Rong said coolly, ”Letting you call me grandfather would be letting you off too easy.”

The assistant asked, ”Zhao Rong, what should we do with this Island Country robot after we get in?”

Lili said fiercely, ”I hate people from the Island Country, which means I hate Island Country robots, too! Faced with such a vile machine, the only way to soothe the hatred in my heart is to tear it to pieces!”

Yu Lan offered an idea. ”Zhao Rong, just tearing it apart is too good for it. You should use the matchstick detonators to blow it to smithereens. That way, it’ll disappear much faster.”

Xuelian came up with an even better idea. ”Blowing it up with detonators is still too merciful. We should buy a big vat of sulfuric acid and throw this robot in. Wouldn’t that be more satisfying?”

Hearing Xuelian’s idea, Zhao Rong immediately adopted it. ”That’s the plan. Everyone, stand back! I’m blowing this door open now!”

As he spoke, he lit the fuse.

A massive explosion roared through the basement. When the smoke cleared, the great iron door had been blasted to smithereens. Seeing it completely destroyed, the group high-fived and cheered.

Lili gave Zhao Rong a joyful thumbs-up. ”Zhao Rong, you’re truly awesome! There’s absolutely nothing in this world that can stand in your way!”

Xuelian looked at him with admiration. ”Zhao Rong, even if that door had been made of diamond, you could have opened it. You have unbreakable confidence and fearless courage.”

Yu Lan was practically ready to pledge herself to him. ”Zhao Rong, your skills are just too incredible! You make all of us beauties completely infatuated with you!”

Zhao Rong simply smiled at the three women and took the lead, charging into the final room. Inside, he immediately saw the robot lying on the floor with one arm blown off.

Struggling to get up, the Island Country robot stared at Zhao Rong in disbelief. ”This is impossible! We people from the Island Country are the best steel-makers in the world! How could your Chinese explosives possibly break open a Meteorite Iron door made by us?”

Looking at the robot on the floor, Zhao Rong picked up half a brick and threw it. ”Fucker! You’re on death’s door and you’re still so arrogant.”

The assistant grabbed an iron rod and smashed it against the robot just as it managed to stand up, knocking it back to the ground.

At that moment, Zhao Rong turned to Xuelian. ”Xuelian, order a barrel of sulfuric acid online now. We’re going to completely dissolve this Island Country robot.”

When the robot heard they planned to dissolve it with sulfuric acid, it decided to make a final stand. It struggled to its feet again, gathering its last reserves of power. Pointing at the group, it declared, ”So you blew open the door and blew off one of my arms. But as the toughest robot ever made by the Island Country, I am no pushover!”

When Zhao Rong saw the robot preparing to challenge them, he just laughed. ”I was going to let you die quickly, but since you’re not convinced, we’ll just have to take our time destroying you.”

Saying this, Zhao Rong charged. He leaped into the air and delivered a flying kick that sent the robot crashing to the floor. The assistant then lifted a large chunk of concrete and hurled it at the machine. Lili found an electric cable and threw it, entangling the robot, while Yu Lan slipped behind it, picked up a brick, and smacked it on the back of its head. Xuelian took out a can of pepper spray and unleashed a fierce blast at it. While everyone was fighting the robot, Principal Wang Guihua quickly began searching the area for the missing students.

In just a few moments, the once-arrogant Island Country robot was completely subdued.

Meanwhile, Xuelian had already received her order from Paradise Shopping Cart: concentrated sulfuric acid. When a delivery package carried by a rat arrived in her hands, she immediately opened it, took out a small bottle of liquid, and handed it to Zhao Rong. ”Zhao Rong, this is the concentrated sulfuric acid I bought online. Just one drop on this Island Country robot will be enough to rapidly corrode it into a pile of scrap metal.”

Hearing how powerful the acid was, Zhao Rong decided to test it. He gently twisted open the bottle’s cap and let a single drop fall onto the robot’s chassis.

The instant the drop of concentrated sulfuric acid made contact, a plume of white smoke billowed up, and then something happened that left everyone completely speechless…
